Zelda Universe Forums needs it's own Avatar gallery

I really think Zelda Universe Forums needs it's own avatar galley. That way, I wouldn't have to type in a URL to find an avatar for me, I could just pick one from the gallery.

you dont have to type an URL to get an avvy, we do have the option of uploading one right off your compy...

We used to have an avatar gallery...must have been taken off after the switch...

It's a possibility. We'll see what Lars has to think about it.

That would be nice for newbies; to have a set of avatars to choose from while they get one personally made. =^^=

After consideration, I've decided I'll personally make a bunch of default avatars for the forums. They won't be phenomenal of course (most likely just some official art clips), but it should be enough to keep people happy. Don't know about taking further submissions from other users as of yet, if any were to apply, though I don't really see why not, so long as they could come up with more than one at once, and with some sort of common theme and consistent style/quality. The last thing we need are a bunch of mismatched avatars of varying quality and theme.

Expect to see the first batch up sometime tomorrow evening (-5:00 GMT).

Well there used to be one before ZU got hacked. With all sorts of crud. I remember my first default avy..It was the chick from ff6. Okay.

With the help of Radek, we've so far got 20 avatars set up - more than enough for now, in my opinion. Simply head over to your User CP to check them out.
