[Suggestion] Prussian Flag

There's been a discussion in a certain Skype group and it turns out multiple people want this:



added to the available country flags. As the title suggests, it's the flag of Prussia. Hyper Nesi was talking with Mike, and it was suggested (a lot of suggestions) that a thread should be made. I don't think there's any reason not to add it. Some might say it's not a country, but neither are Antarctica and sweden, but they have their own flags.

So pretty please with some Rhian and Nesi on top, could you people who can add this add this to the country flags?

Nesi and I would like to.

Besides, having a Prussian flag in use would mean people who don't recognise it hover their mouse over it; and when they realise they don't know what Prussia is, they Wiki it and learn about this almighty glory that should have never stopped existing.

Thus, it's also educational. 8)

The difference of course is that people from Antarctica need a flag for their location, even though it's not a country.

So while arguing for Prussia is silly, an international space station flag would be appropriate.

I still want the Earth Flag.

But Prussia is a location. The worst thing the Western Allies ever did was abolish it, even Hitler wasn't that bad.


Brandenburg still exists. That was the historic base for the Kingdom of Prussia.

There's also Königsberg, even if dumb Russians call it Kaliningrad.

I think a flag of the Holy Roman Empire would be better to implement.

Okay, look.

You can not want a Prussian flag. That's fine. If you don't want that, go ahead, say that. Some members actually do want this flag and are seriously requesting it be added. Yeah, this is not an important thing and, yeah, it's sort of silly, but why the hell does that matter to you? If a Code Wizard doesn't want to do that, okay. But these members just want to know if it's possible and I find your behaviour pretty disrespectful to them.

If any of you actually do want one of those flags, go find a proper design of it so it can be uploaded easily (as these members have done) and make a thread about it.

Seriously, for a former member of staff, a current member of staff and someone who posts often within the FSQ, I expect a lot better from you. If any of you have a problem with this and want to respond to me, feel free to do so in PM.

I am going to leave this locked for a minute or two so people can see this. Anyone who posts after this like this will have their post deleted and be punished.

When can we have the flags implemented?

Likely when Aniday gets around to it. I believe he's in the best position to set it up at the moment.

Cody, all you need to do to add flags is stick them in the images/flags directory of the forums.
