[Important!] The Swear/Language Filter is Now Optional!

I'm in the midst of clearing some cache so new additions to the filter are applied to old posts and the option I just added is also applied to older posts. At least.. that's how it's supposed to work. VB isn't very clear on this.

So the site has finally enabled sentence enhancers? Time to sprinkle them over all my sentences and BAM! I'll have a spicy sentence sandwich!

I believe those with the censor off will see the imbedded picture with a swear in the url and those with it on will not.

I think Tonch meant more like if within the visualness of the image it had, for example, the word "♥♥♥♥". That'd still be against the rules, no?

Oh, yes. It would still be technically bypassing the filter and therefore be against the rules.. Don't do it.. or at least edit the swear from the picture.

Unless staff decides to change that rule. Who knows.

lol This is great, though I'm not gonna disable it for another two weeks or so like when people get over that they can say ♥♥♥♥ because holy ♥♥♥♥ I can say ♥♥♥♥. It's all new and exciting and people are gonna be tossing it around for the sake of it so yeeaaah, I'mma wait for ♥♥♥♥ to calm some.

That said, uh yeah, images with swearing is still bypassing because that is not optional to see unless you put it in a spoiler and let people know or something. The point of this is letting you have a choice and an image doesn't give that choice to those who choose to keep the filter on (I know we're not super strict on that, but we may start with being stricter now because this is a -choice- thing now)

Now I can tell the difference between ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ and ♥♥♥♥. Not that it was that difficult before, but it makes it easier.

Not to rain on everybody's parade, but has anyone noticed that even if you have the filter turned on, you still see the uncensored version when you quote someone? In the reply text box, I mean.
