I managed to post a comment back on the main site today, though I'm wondering if it will work back in that bit older news/article thing.

How do I black out text in my messages for things like spoilers? I've tried to do it but I can't get it to work.

There are spoiler tags. There's even a button :3

Question: How do i make it so that when ever someone Quotes me/or posts on a thread, i can get a notification to my e-mail/ZU inbox/or those MSN pop-up things?

The closest to that you'll find on ZU is the subscribed threads system, which tells you in your User CP and/or by email whenever somebody posts in a thread you're subscribed to. You can subscribe to threads either manually, or whenever you post in them (and don't already have it subscribed). For the automated kind, check your Options in your User CP; for the manual kind, it's at the top of every page of every thread.

As for notifications whenever you're quoted, that has been looked into before by the people who could do something about it (among others), but with no luck. It is, however, possible to use ZU's search function to find all the times your name has been mentioned... although it won't see your name (or anything else for that matter) if it's in the title of a quote box.

Depends on the banner. If you want a special banner in your custom rank like some others, then maybe. You have to politely ask an admin or Code Wizard and have a decent image to put there.

If it's a banner with all the other banners like where the clan banners go then no. Those are for user groups.

How do I make a poll in a thread?

It's one of the options available while making the thread. Near the bottom of the page while writing the first post of the thread it will say something like this:

Post a Poll

□Yes, post a poll with this thread
Number of poll options: █████ (Maximum: 15)
