I've gotten a malware notification twice. I think going to the same thread too.

On Ads

The problem could be because of certain ads like on this thread.

And while it's most likely ads, it could be other things. It's good to raise awareness if this happens to someone. ZU should not be facilitating ads that are dangerous to people's computers.

Happens to me too. Only on pages 1 and 2, though, so I assume it has something to do with the people posting.

If ads have malware and said ads are on the site it would only be on pages where ads appear.

Hence if this turns out to be the case it's pretty much Jason's false.

I didn't know ads appeared on some pages of the forums. I haven't even seen an ad on the forums yet. I thought it was only the main page.

Guys...come on. I really doubt Jason had anything to do with the malware. Thats just...kinda below the belt, ok? It could be a link in someone's sig, or the hosting site of someone's sig. Or it could be an image someone posted. Either way, I think its kinda assy to blame Jason for a malware notification!

I agree with you we cant blame Jason for every malware incident.Maybe it was an ad that caused your browser to do that.

Even if it was ads it still isn't really Jason's fault, people need to stop hating on him for the ads. How the hell can he know if ads have malware if he doesn't test them?

Guys. This is from Liah's sig rotator. That's the site it's hosted on. Just ignore it. There's no malware.
