I looked around the various threads for it, but I couldn't find any hard denial.

None of the stuff under the "denied ideas" category have any purpose. Why would you want to like VMs if only you and the person who sent it can see them? If you want to theorize about games, you can make a separate thread in GG.

I would like to see an arcade though.

As far as i know, the arcade is still in discussion but theres not a lot of push in either direction for that one.

Also to add to the list of denied ideas:
Revamp of the Zelda section's forums.

I'm not sure why you guys haven't been able to handle a revamp for the Zelda boards. Clean up stickies and apply a standard for OPs of stickied threads would be a start. Making a connection between the zelda boards and the main page is also a good idea by making an article out of someone's post or something like that.

Game theorizing would be a sub-forum. Would be useful for people more into hardcore RPGs where number theorycrafting and min/maxing come into play.

A forum for Hylian Dan articles? Probably not.

Dislike button: not gonna happen. Ever.

Liking VMs: not sure how this would be useful.

Zelda section revamp is always a work in progress. It comes up again and again but there are a lot of opinions thrown around as to how we should proceed. Zelda section has a lot of activity and changing some things without making sure it'll be a 100% better version of Zelda would have some negative side effects.

The threads are linked for a reason. Go post in them. This is not a thread to comment on all the ideas that got declined. This is a thread to list them so people stop asking.


How is this idea hard to grasp? Because a lot of people seem to be making the same mistake.

No point further elaborating on things we're already 100% certain of.

I think this is a pretty good idea!
We often get multiple threads within a short span of time requesting the same - or similar things that have previously been discussed or declines. So here we can keep a list of sorts to have as reference. I know for sure we don't keep an exact track on member requests like these in the Staff forums - we discuss them in great detail - but often, they get lost in the sea of chat if they're not made as their own thread. So this is pretty handy for future reference I think.

Uh, yeah. We should definitely have something like that in this (http://www.zeldauniverse.net/forums/...s-section.html) thread so people actually read it before posting and such. I think it would slightly help out to get less of the same questions.
