Been seeing that while logged out (yes, I cleared my cookies and cache, on both my school computer and my own).

Obviously it doesn't hurt anything at all, but I just find it humorous and I wonder if it has to do with how the cookies for this site were recently changed.

Jason's trying to set up a notice to display to new members when they join. Apparently it's not perfect yet.

I thought that was Xeno's doing, since there is a thread about making that oh... a few threads down?

Just a humble question: with this function working, what will happen to the New Members Board? I'm afraid it won't be needed anymore.

Nonsense. The NMB is still a good means to learn some things about the site that a notice can't give. It also contains the adoption cottage :3

How is a notice pointing you to the rules going to make welcome threads obsolete?

A notice used to link new members to rules and Newbies' Guide =/= introductory threads for each member.

They don't really affect each other at all, except for possibly a few less question threads in the NMB. :3

Forgot to check a box (yep, a simple check; it was late at night). Registered users will now only be able to see that notice.

Has nothing to do with cookies nor Jason you silly people. Sheesh.
