[Need Help] the MM cutscene list...

Are they just audio? Because I don't get the visual, and WMP said I needed some file, which I got, but didn't do anything besides crash the videos.'


So... how do I get the MM cutscene videos to work...?

It's just a 10mb .avi

Not sure why you'd not be able to play it.

Download VLC media player.

Also, I'm disappointed at how low the resolution for the videos are.

ZU should upload the cutscenes to Youtube then maybe provide links via the Page.
That's just my idea. Cause it sounds like a good one to me. Less plugin/compatibility issues.

That would require downloading 223 videos, uploading (and titling, tagging, adding descriptions for) 223 videos, then relinking every video on the page.

I never had any problems viewing the videos while making the page, nor did Jason, and everything is still working fine for me. Unfortunately, I can't explain the issues people are having, but if you'd really like to watch a particular cutscene and can't get it to play on the page, you can download it if you'd like!

Must be the video codec. Tried playing it with normal WMP, but I got nothing. Playing it with the K-lite pack got me some results, though. VLC can handle these avi files, too.

You don't know Youtube, do you? Their profits may go down, but dammit, the copyright must be upheld!

Youtube sounds like a good idea, but I think its too late now. Converting it will result in the loss of video quality, which is already low enough. If you really want, watch the cutscenes from other youtube users.

I actually have never uploaded a video to youtube ever. I'm working on some walkthroughs for a certain series that starts with a Z right now so it might be helpful to know how to do these things.

Buuuuut - For the less tech savvy users that don't know how to download the codecs and stuff - how about a guide - on that shows them how to get the codecs and maybe provide links. Cause I remember when I wasn't tech savvy... 5 years ago.

Uh, they're the resolution of the game. What res did you think N64 games played in? 320 x 480 pixels, Sir. Actually, perhaps less than that - I don't think N64 was the full 480i. Call up Nintendo and tell them to go back in time and up the resolution supported by their console

Well, with upscalers these days, Nintendo doesn't really have to worry about fixing their poor resolution. =P
