Awards Format (The Original Intension)

I remember back when the awards for ZU were initiated. It was the original intention of the Mod Team at the time to run the awards in an "Emmy-style" format. For instance, it would be a big production where one narrator (Host) would lead up to and announce the awards (maybe two or three awards a day...or whatever would work for us). Then, the people who were recipients would write (as if they were really up there on stage, at a microphone) their acceptance speeches. They wouldn't be long, necessarily, but still enjoyable to read. Others could post their "applause" and comments along the way.

This was how the Seasonal Awards were original supposed to be orchestrated, but they never really got off the ground. I believe that now, since the Awards are so well organized, it would be possible to begin to introduce this format.

Speaking of which...I liked the award tab in the profile thing. That was a nice system.
