Why don't you just add the theme as an optional skin, so people in the northern hemisphere can set it to X-Mas during winter, those in the southern hemisphere can set it in summer, and those who don't give a crap can just leave it plain.

I suppose a summer theme could be made... Maybe brighten up the temple theme with spider webs and dust; and add some Kangaroos, giraffes, and monkeys. We could even add some shrimp for the barbie!

Hehe, just poking some fun. Being the normal temple theme is summer-like, there wouldn't be many changes. And being that Zelda Universe is technically American, or at least North Hemisphere-ian, winter occurs during this time of the year
