Blogs
Just throwing something out there. I've been looking at some random forums lately and I've noticed a new trend coming about, the use of blogs as part of the Forum/site. Honestly, I'm not even sure if this is a good idea. I enjoyed it myself, but at the same time it presents more opportunities for people to be...well...stupid. But hey, it's not like anyone is forcing you to read them after all. Just throwing it out there to see what anyone else thinks.

Actually (usually depending on the popularity of the member and/or the topic(s)) many people tend to read these. Although they do take up space so perhaps a new "Member Blogs" forum could be created or something. Or not. It doesn't make a difference either way.

I'm pretty sure this was brought up in the past and the answer was no because of how heavily modded the posts would have to be.

Trying to moderate the blogs of every forum member would be near impossible. That's my only issue with it..

You could always make a LiveJournal community for ZUers to post in if you want a blog that badly. I've seen other forums do this and it worked out quite well... but still, I'm sure the people on here that want to blog already have their own blog on another website. I have about five or six different blogs elsewhere, so managing one here would be near impossible.
Not to mention, it's not cheap to run a website, and blogs here would take up a lot of bandwidth.
