Hrm. I was about to suggest that it may have been the browser's fault, but I just checked and I'm fine with IE8, FF3, and Safari4. (ignoring the various lesser version numbers for each.)

I'm using the Temple Skin and Mozilla Firefox 3.5. It's not happening to me.
