Junior Mods?

I say that there should be Junior Mods. They're like normal members, but they have the ability to give members warnings, like mini-infractions, and they get a shiny new banner.

However, in waves of spam like the one we've recently had, they are given the ability to ban bots and lock spam threads, or even delete threads altogether, like what happened to that 'MyD__k is Hyog' thread, by Hyog D__k. Does anyone s'port my idea?

I don't really see the point. This is really just what mods are for.

You just want a new banner.
And, really, that's part of why the mods are here.
I don't think we should be throwing the power to deleate other peoples posts/threads around quite so lightly.

Second, I think the mods deal with things just fine. The last thing we need is a horde of self-righteous kiss asses trying to prove their importance by infracting at every opportunity. Tacking 'junior' on there gives someone something to compensate for. At least the mods now are acting out of obligation.

But, in that wave of spam, it took so ong for all of those threads to be locked. Mainly because the mods are overwhelmed and someone, whose name I won't say, but rhymes with Twilight Joker, kept the threads alive.

Well, if penises offend you, don't click on a thread called "My dick is Hyog," and you should be just fine.

I didn't read the thread. I clicked on it, and it said that I didn't have sufficient priveledges to access it. Can you VM me telling me what it said?

Really, this idea is exactly what Forum Mods are for. Arguably Section Mods too.

NINJA EDIT: You didn't have sufficient privileges because a mod either moved it or deleted it. I'm guessing the latter.

What's the diff between section and forum mods, anyway?

How much they control. Forum mods control specific subforums (such as the GCC or a particular clan), while Section mods control entire sections (Zelda, Community, Creativity Corner, the Escapists' Haven, and whatever the clan section is called. Oh, and Everything Trains.)

Well, one of those statements is certainly true.
