Well, we section mods or below can ban them, but if we don't have a g-mod+ online, then we're basically screwed (if the thread isn't in our section, of course.)

Like I said in that other thread, it's times like this I question the whole section mod system. Beejoker, Insaney, and Veyrael are the only mods online, and they don't have the power to delete all of the spam threads.

The spam threads aren't so much of an issue if no-one posts in them and the OP is banned. "In before the lock" replies are what keep those nuisance threads at the top of the board.

I'd make a suggestion to get rid of the current system and make a better one but it would get rejected....just like everything else that's suggested around these parts..

Yeah, and the thing is people are posting in them. For example, I see Twilight Joker posting in every single one, keeping them on top, instead of letting them die so a mod can clean it up. There are also other people posting **** like "INB4 DA LOCK LOL" and the like.

I know of a at least one mod that punishes for those kind of posts (LOL AMIRITE FORTE). It seems like most of this will be allowed to slide though.

Yeah I thought that they were gonna die, to be honest. But people are posting in them it seems?

I once got a warning for posting in a troll thread by some idiot committing account suicide. And there's the announcement Radek posted.

I just don't get why people don't let the goddamn things die.

Dear members of ZU, do not post in any of the spambot threads. Doing so will result in a warning, or an infraction. Let the the threads die. It's making the place look horrible. There is no mod currently on that can get rid of the threads.

The only section I can make an announcement is in the Creative Corner, and that place hasn't been touched as far as I can tell. But I think I'll post something in the GCC (as a thread).
