Opening Threads crashing Firefox on OS X

Is there a reason that the majority of the time I open a thread on Firefox using Snow Leopard that Firefox crashes? This doesn't happen on any other site, so why does it keep happening here?

Try disabling javascript and see if it stops (Firefox->Preferences->Content->Uncheck Enable Javascript). It may be a script that's acting weird. Otherwise there's a high chance that what's crashing your browser is something third party. Make sure that you've tried disabling all your addons and updating flash as well (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/).

This is a problem with Snow Leopard and Firefox, not with ZU. it's been ticking me off - Firefox crashes a whole lot all over the place.
