How are mods chosen?

How are mods chosen? Who picks them? Are there requirements?


Sorry, it's just that my friend wants to mae an account here just to see if he can become a mod.

Mods are appointed by virtue of being friends or sleeping with other mods.

Ancient ritual. The current mod team meet up in a distant forest. It has to be midnight and the moon must be full. After we pray to the Ancient Gods we dance the sacred dances (in the nude, obviously) and then sacrifice the Sacrifical Duck (tm). If all goes well, the clouds will part and show us the next mod.

Man, I love that duck.

I slept with the Duck. It worked a treat.

I'm not sure if I want to be a mod anymore.

We don't want to be mods either.

It is our destiny.

Edit: I second what Forte said. This thread is the best ever.

Basically, people suggest a mod for an area that needs modding, then I say yes or no, and then we go with my decision. Occasionally Cody has some input if I'm in a good mood, but I'd say at least half the modding team owes me their championing.

You really don't want to be a mod. It seems like all you need to do is pay a one-time ticket price and then you are on the train to Awesome Town. Then you get there and all of a sudden you realize that you actually have to pay rent. And the rent is your dignity.

IDK to be honest. They just pick anyone.
