The Legend of Zelda : A fate of despair

A story I'm making that takes place after the events of twilight Princess. In a dream that Zelda has She sees the future and a fate far too sad to bear. The death of Link. In a desperate attempt to save Link, She resets time over and over again ( From Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni ) until she can save him. Here is the death scene.
"That’s when it happened. A giant plant thing came out of the water and charged at Link. He responded quickly and slashed his sword at it. Now there were several more vines thrashing at him, creating a moving death trap maze that he normally couldn’t have made it through. However, he had training from a sheikah and so he flipped and dodged with ease. But then the vines took a different course and headed for Zelda. Link was momentarily stopped by his want to save Zelda and that was his flaw. At least 40 vines all came out of the water and charged at Link, running through his chest at uncomprehendable speeds. “Aaugh!” He screamed in a mixture of surprise and pain. Hundreds of droplets of blood fell and turned the lake red. Tears streamed down his face and turned into blood as Zelda was pierced with the vines Link couldn’t stop"

That's a nice idea you have there. Finally, Link dies At least now he seems less invincible.
