The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
Two years ago: Three figures stood in a large Colosseum, saying their goodbye's. "Well, as long as this mirror's intact, we might see eachother again," said Midna. She then strode over to the mirror and stopped, as a single tear came to her eye and began to float in midair she said, "Link...I...see you later," she then propelled the tear towards the mirror but was careful to make it look like she was waving goodbye. "Goodbye Midna, I'll visit you soo..." he stopped when Zelda called out, "Link!" He turned and saw what she had noticed, the mirror was cracking. "Midna wait!" called Link as he realized she was running up the translucent stairs. When she arrived at the top she floated off the platform and was inveloped in the mirror's light. "Promise me you'll never forget about me, or my world!" she called out as she began to disappear. "I promise, goodbye!" shouted Link trying to fight back tears. Midna smiled with a bizarre mixture of happiness and sorrow before disappearing completely. As soon as the mirror's task was done it shattered completely. Two weeks later Link had been summoned by Zelda and rushed off to Hyrule Castle immediatley. After arriving Zelda told him to follow her. While they were walking towards the Royal Archives he asked, "Well what did you find?" "Link i'm so sorry but...i've been unable to find anyway for you to return, the only way possible is in her realm." Link froze and stared at her, "What do you mean in her realm?" "The sages informed me that there is a device in the Twilight Realm that could help her get back, they're not sure what it is but, supposedly, it was to be used when the Twili repented and where ready to join us again." Link stood there for a long time thinking, "What difference does it make, we can't tell her about it anyway, i might as well give up." Zelda put her hand on his shoulder and said, "I'm very sorry. But time heals all wounds." Link looked at her and nodded. Afterwards he returned to a relatively normal life among the Ordonians. The Present: Link was sitting in his favorite spot on Ordon Ranch staring at the sky. He was busy contemplating a dream he had the previous night when he heard the sound of approaching footsteps. "Hello llia," he said smiling. She sat down next to him and took to staring at the sky too. "Link, I..." she started but stopped. He turned to her and asked, "What's wrong?" She fumbled for words before saying, "I know you've been having nightmares, please tell me, what's wrong?" He put his arm around her and whispered, "Nothing you should worry over. Come on let's head back to the village." As they headed down the path to Ordon Village llia said, "Hey Link, who's that talking to my father?" Link followed her gaze and gasped, Mayor Bo was talking to Princess Zelda. "Link there you are!" shouted Zelda when she spotted him. "What's wrong?" he asked. "I don't have time to explain! Get your green tunic on! The Light Spirit Ordona needs you!" |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
I think you can ask a mod to fix it so that there is one thread, and I get the same problem with double posts...
Just one small error: it's colluseum. I think, that is... ![]() Other than that, good begining. I like that you started from where Twilight Princess ended because you can get a good vision of what may happen after and how the characters are, based on how we last saw them in the later parts of the game. Good work! ![]() |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
Thanks very much Potent!
Okay here are the next two chapters. I think you'll find them very interesting! Link walked out of his house wearing his green tunic for the first time in two years and followed Zelda to the spirit spring. "Ordona!" she called. The spring lit up and Ordona appeared. He gazed at the two of them for a few seconds before saying, "Link, Hyrule has need of you once again. The threat once again comes from the Realm of Twilight." Link gasped and said, "Don't tell me Ganon..." Ordona interrupted and said, "No, this being is something even worse than Ganon, allow me to show you," Ordona bellowed and Link found himself lost in a vision. Link was floating in nothingness and recognized this place. This was the same vision Lanayru had showed him two years ago. However, it seemed to freeze when the Dark Interlopers appeared. "Lanayru told you the story of these people did he not?" asked Ordona. Link nodded still staring at the frozen beings before him. "These Interlopers go by another name. The Shadow Clan. They go by this name because their three leaders were the children of the Queen of Shadows, the matriarch of their race. Two of them were the ancestors of Midna and Zant." Link gasped again as he saw Midna and Zant appear as ghostly images behind two of them. Ordona continued, "The three brothers wished to usurp power fromt their mother and become the rulers of shadow. But in their hearts they knew they could never hope to best her magic. So instead they sealed her away within an artifact they used in an attempt to conquer the Realm of Light." Link was then shown a dark heart shaped object. "However, their attempt failed, for her soul was still intact within the artifact. They chose to syphon most of the power out and used it to create the Fused Shadow. Afterwards the artifact was to remain hidden for all time. That is, until it was discovered by a careless fool. Link was then shown a tall redhaired man carrying a bulging pack. "This man was a descendant of the Interlopers himself and believed the demon presence within the artifact was gone. However, it was not. He was then ambushed by an imp who stole the artifact for himself. After being consumed by the evil of the artifact he attacked one of your ancestors." Link was then shown a younger version of himself wandering through a forest on the back of a horse. "After he did this he fled to the land of Termina and attempted to destroy it. But your ancestor managed to eliminate the evil within the mask, or so he thought. Five years later the demon being appeared again and threatened all of Hyrule. In an attempt to stop it the sages sealed the being back within the artifact and then sent it into the Twilight Realm. It should have remained there for all time, floating through oblivion. However, over the last three centuries it regained its strength. It lashed out against the descendants of the people that betrayed it. After absorbing their power it opened a portal to the Realm of Light. Link you must stop the evil before..." Oronda paused before saying, "One of the Twili approaches." Link was jolted out of his vision and saw Zelda kneeling beside an injured creature. Link ran over and stared in shock when he realized this being was Midna, however, she had reverted back to her imp form. "Midna what happened?" whispered Link worryingly as he lifted her in his arms. She opened her eyes and stared at him confused. Before passing out she whispered one word, "Majora." "Ohhhhh," groaned Midna as she returned to consciousness. She opened her eyes and saw the face of a person she hadn't seen in two years, "Link, is it really you?" He smiled at her and said, "Yes it is, don't worry everything is going to be okay." She coughed before saying, "Set me down please." Link did as she asked and watched as she floated up off the ground. She looked around before saying, "Did Ordona tell you what happened?" Link nodded, relieved she was okay. "Link, Majora is an inhuman fiend! She appeared one day, and stole the powers of my people...and me. She opened a portal to Hyrule in the desert. I barely managed to escape and find you." She was about to say more but gasped in pain. "Midna, do you feel up to warping?" asked Zelda. "Yes, why?" Zelda turned to Link and said, "I need you to go to the Master Sword, we have need of it again." Link nodded and walked towards Midna who, after changing him back into a wolf, teleported the two of them to the Sacred Grove. After arriving Midna once again removed the cyrstal that turned Link into a wolf and floated after him. "So..." she started, "how've things been going for you?" He looked taken aback before responding, "Good." They stopped when they saw the Master Sword resting in a pedastal before them. Link walked over to take it, he was about ten feet away when Midna cried out, "Link! Look out!" Link turned and leaped back as a boulder crashed down in front of him. He turned towards the forest looking for the source. Suddenly a being errupted from the dense undergrowth. It unleashed a blast of energy that caused the two of them to float into the air and stalked towards them. Now that the creature was no longer moving Link realized it was a woman that had attacked them. She wore a breastplate that had a pair of eyes on the front and numerous spikes sticking out apparently wrapping around her. Beneath that she wore a dark purple gown. Link stared at her face and saw two eyes exactly like the ones on her armor staring at him. She smiled showing off a row of pointed teeth. The next thing he noticed was the unnatural color of her skin. It was a bizarre combination of purple and green that made him feel like throwing up. "It seems i've finally found the two of you! Now all i need is the princess and i'll be finished!" she exclaimed in a high pitched voice. "What do you want?!" shouted Midna. "I need the two of you and the Princess to complete my plan...i might as well tell you. Once I posses the Princess not only will i have the powers of a demon but i'll be even more powerful than the Three Godesses!" Link stared at her before asking, "What do you need us for?" Majora stared back before saying, "I need the Triforce." Link stared at her stupidly unable to comprhend what this being would do with that power. "Why do you need me for that?" asked Midna. Majora walked over to her and grabbed her arm. Midna cried out in shock when the Triforce of Power began glowing on the back of her hand, "What! H-how did i..." she stopped and just stared at her hand. Majora placed her finger on Midna's hand and concentrated. "Wait, what's going on? No don't!" cried Midna as the symbol on her hand faded and lite up on Majora's. Midna saw Link trying to break free and realized what she had to do. She brought her hands together and focused her energy into a small bolt of energy. As soon as Majora realized what she was doing Midna fired the bolt and knocked Majora off balance, freeing both her and Link. "Link now! Get the sword!" Link charged towards the Pedastal and placed his hands on the hilt but stopped when Midna cried out. He turned around and saw that Midna was once again being levitated by Majora but this time an orb of energy was pointed at her face. "Pull the sword and she dies!" cackled Majora. Link stared for a few seconds before backing away. Majora strode past him and paused in front of the sword. "You can't remove it you know!" called out Link. Majora cackled even harder and said to him, "I don't intend to. I'm going to destroy it!" Link's reaction was instantaneous. He charged towards her but was knocked down when Majora hurled Midna towards him. Link stood up and watched as Majora turned her energy blast on the sword and caused a blinding flash. When Link was able to see again he saw that Majora was holding the blade of the sword in her hands. The hilt and a few more pieces of the blade were on the ground. Majora had succeeded in breaking the Master Sword. Link stared for a long time unable to comprehend what had just happened. It was when Majora once again drew Midna towards her that he became aware of what was happening. "You're coming with me my dear," whispered Majora. "Link help!" cried Midna as she tossed the black crystal to Link. He was just about to catch it when Majora unleashed another energy bolt and destroyed the cyrstal. She laughed once again as she and Midna disappeared. Link walked over to the pedastal and picked up the hilt of the sword. He stared at it for a long time before thrusting his head back and crying out, "WHAT THE HELL!" |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
After the destruction of the sword and the kidnapping of Midna Link entered the forest and eventually made his way back to Ordon. "Link what happened?" called Zelda when he entered the spirit spring. "Where's Midna? What are you...is that...the Master Sword?" she asked in horror when she noticed what Link was carrying. "Yes it is," replied Link, "The being known as Majora kidnapped Midna and shattered the Master Sword," he continued. "She also took the Triforce of Power." "What do you mean she took...are you saying Midna was the keeper of the Triforce of Power?" Link nodded as he stared at the hilt of the sword. "She was already a demon but, with that power added on to what she already has...we must stop her before she recovers our pieces," she said as her piece began resonating. "What should we do about the sword? Not only is it shattered but she took the blade." "In ancient times the sages forged the sacred blade we know as the Master Sword, perhaps they can repair it." ----------------------------------- After returning to the Arbiter's Grounds Link and Zelda explained what had happened to the sages. "Hmmmm, I am sorry but...we cannot reforge the blade for you." replied the Light Sage. "What! Why not?" asked Link. "One of our number is no longer with us." replied the Forest Sage as he looked towards the broken pillar that had the water symbol on it. "There must be something we can do. Please tell us what it is and we'll succeed!" said Zelda. The sages all began to contemplate the matter until the Fire Sage exclaimed, "Perhaps there is something you could do!" "Is he referring to..." began the Spirit Sage before the Shadow Sage said, "Of course why didn't we think of it before?" "What is it?" asked Link "Young one," said the Light Sage, "Only when all six sages combine their powers can the Maste Sword regain its brilliance..." "You must seek out the next group of sages..." continued the Forest Sage. "For only when this next group unites their powers can the Master Sword be reforged..." said the Fire Sage. The Spirit Sage continued, "And the darkness that is Majora..." "Be vanquished by the Master Sword's sacred power," finished the Shadow Sage. "So we have to find the next group of sages?" asked Link, "Where exactly should we look?" "Each of the sages must be descended from one of the six races of Hyrule. The Light Sage is a Hylian," replied the Light Sage. The rest continued and told Link what race their sage had to come from. "The Forest Sage is a Kokiri." "The Fire Sage hails from the Gorons." "The Spirit Sage is a descendant of the Gerudo." "The Shadow Sage carries the blood of the Sheikah." Then they all said together, "And the Water Sage is one of the Zora people." Link attempted to memorize all this but soon realized something, "Ancient ones, i have never heard of the Kokiri, or the Sheikah. I have also never heard the word Gerudo outside of the name for this desert." The sages turned towards one another and appeared to be comunicating telepathically until the Forest Sage responded, "Deep in the woods of Faron, in a part lost to the rest of the world, there exists a village of children, while the Forest Sage is not among them she must be brought to this village when she is found. Only then can she awaken." "To find the Sage of Spirit, you must scour the Northern Desert. There you will find a long forgotten fortress, living within is the last pure breed Gerudo in existence," said the Spirit Sage. "Your quest for the Sage of Shadow will begin in an ancient village, this village once belonged to the guardians of the Royal Family. An old woman there will give you the artifact that will help you find the one destined to be the next sage of my line," explained the Sage of Shadow. "Go now and do not falter Hero Chosen by the Gods!" commanded the Sages before they vanished. Afterwards Link and Zelda departed the desert and headed for Castle Town. Meanwhile: Midna was unsure of how long she had been chained to the wall in this dark and gloomy dungeon cell. All she knew was that it was much longer than it seemed. She was contemplating how to break the chains of energy that kept her imprisoned when she heard footsteps. "Well hello my dear, i do hope you are uncomfortable," Majora let loose a maniacal cackle at the notion before regaining her composure. She strode towards Midna with the elegance of a dancer. Midna stared at her with hate filled eyes but refused to say anything. "Could you at least show some manners?" asked Majora, "After all i did spare your life!" Midna muttered something unintelligible but one of the words she used sounded like witch. "What was that!" cried Majora angrily. "You heard me!" spat Midna. " I called you a cruel, heartless, bit...ahhhhh," she cried out when Majora began to blast her with a field of energy. "I suppose i should stop," she said while Midna continued to cry out in pain, "After all, business before pleasure." After she stopped with her attack Midna prepared to scream more insults but decided against it and instead asked, "What do you want with me?" "Now we're getting somewhere! I want you to tell me where it is right now!" she commanded. "Where-ahhh-what is?" asked Midna weakly. Majora was about to blast her again but stopped when she realized that Midna honestly didn't know what she was referring to, "Okay, i'll explain my question like this. The Triforce is to the Master Sword, as the Fused Shadow is to what?" Midna stopped panting and stared at her with terror filled eyes, "W-why do you want that!?" she asked with a mixture of confusion and terror. "You know full well why i want it," hissed Majora. |

One problem guys...
It's Colosseum... ![]() If you're American the spelling Coliseum is also accepted for some reason... Though as a classicist it is very very wrong, and not just in a primadonna 'UK English is the right one' kind of way; in a why on earth accept such a silly looking spelling kinda way... I'll save more important criticism until I see how it pans out... I shall continue to read!

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
Thanks again Potent, rest assured i will warn you.
Zora: Problem fixed, i always hate words like that. After meeting with the sages Link and Zelda made their way to the Western Entrance of Castle Town. As they stepped into the street they both stopped. Not only was the street itself badly damaged but there wasn't a single person in sight. Link was about to ask where everybody could have gone when he heard a panic filled voice cry out. Zelda looked around before pointing at the sky. Link looked at the area where she was pointing and saw something hurtling their way. A few seconds later it crashed down in front of them. Only then did Link realize that it was a human, a Soldier of Hyrule by the look of him. Link was about to help him up when he heard more shouting from the Town Square. Without thinking Link grabbed the injured man's sword and charged off. He arrived just as another cry rang out. After a few seconds he located the source. Another soldier had just been killed by some kind of monster. Link was about to strike it from behind until it turned around. The sight of this being made Link's blood run cold. The first thing he noticed was the strange insect eyes mounted on two stalks swiveline around. Underneath the base of the stalks was a gaping mouth with razor sharp teeth. One either side of the mouth where a human being would have cheeks this abomination had two miniature arms with lobster claws on the ends. As Link's eyes continued to move down he saw that the being had six legs. The first two ended in two long scythe-like blades. The other four appeared to be regular legs. What set these apart was that they were like the legs of a mammal while the rest of the creature was insect-like. Link didn't have time to formulate a plan of attack for the creatures eyes had focused on him. It leaped forward with its scythe arms flailing. Link was almost decapitated as the creature sailed over him. It landed with a groundshaking thud about five meters behind him. Link was still thinking about how he could possibly defeat this creature when he heard the sound of a young girl screaming in terror. The creature turned its gaze to the other side of the town square and saw a young girl with two yellow pigtails wearing a blue dress and an insect pendant. Link barely had time to say, "Agitha?" before the monster leaped towards her. Link realized that Agitha wasn't moving and appeared to be rooted to the ground while the monster was only a few leaps away. "Agitha get out here!" called Link as he charged towards her. The monster was in mid-leap when it was struck in the side of the stomach by a massive stone and blasted through the wall of a building. The building trembled for a few seconds before collapsing. "Nice shot Auru," said a familiar voice. Link turned and saw an old gray haired man in a sandy colored garb holding a smoking metal tube. Standing next to him was a young women wearing armor. "Auru, Ashei, is that really you?" asked Link as the two of them walked towards him. "It's been a long time, yeah," said Ashei as she held out her hand. Link took it while Auru said, "Good thing we got her when we did. Otherwise that girl would have been...oh no!" Link turned and saw that Agitha was running away from the rubble. After a few seconds he realized the reason was because it was moving. Soon after the creature rocketed out and gave a deafening screech. "Impossible," gasped Auru, "Nothing can survive a direct hit from a cannon like that!" "Does it matter?" asked Ashei as she turned to Link, "You'll help me take down this monster, yeah?" Link nodded. "Good, then take this bow. When the creature rears up shoot it in the chest. You got all that, yeah?" she asked. Link said, "Let's take this thing down!" Ashei charged at the creature and leaped on its shoulders while it swung its arms at her. After the creatures eyes turned on her its claws began clicking while it tried to attack her. She eventually grabbed hold of the claws and directed one of them so it chopped off the other. The creature began flailing even more in an attempt to knock her off. She continued to direct the remaining claw until it cut one of the eye stalks. "Link now. Take the shot!" Link took aim and, with pinpoint accuracy, struck the creature in the center of its chest. It groaned weakly before collapsing to the ground. Ashei hopped off and stared at the creature before walking towards them. "Link!" called Princess Zelda as she entered the square and saw the chaos. "I'm all right Princess!" called Link as she ran towards the four of them. "It's been a while milady," said Auru with a bow. Ashei didn't know how to react. She decided to copy Auru and bowed before Zelda. "Glad to see Hyrule's Leader is alright," she said. Zelda reached out her hand to Ashei who stared for a few seconds before taking it. "What happened? Who is that girl?" asked Zelda as she noticed Agitha. "Auru and Ashei assisted me in bringing down this monstrosity," said Link as he gestured to the unmoving beast. "This is a friend of mine. Her name is..." "I am Agitha the Princess of the Bug Kingdom," she interrupted. Zelda looked like she was about to say something before they heard another low growl. The creature was moving once again. "It can't be!" gasped Ashei, "That fiend should be dead!" "It must be a spell," whispered Zelda, "Auru do you remember how you told me about the ancient forbidden magic?" "Yes i do, one of those spells prevents a living thing from dying. It will continue to come back again and again!" "How do we stop it then?" asked Link. "There should be a counterspell but...it's forgotten as well. The only way now is if we completly destroyed it." "Enough talk, yeah!" shouted Ashei, "Link, come with me!" As Link and Ashei attempted to fend off the creature Zelda turned to Auru and asked, "Do you remember the spell you taught me once, Din's Fire?" "What about it?" "Would it be enough to destroy this creature?" "Yes but, you'd need to conjure up a mighty big flame! If only we were close to Death Mountain we could probably..." he stopped when Link cried out. Ashei had been thrown away and Link was now on the ground. He tried to get up but fell back down. Meanwhile the creature was preparing to strike him dead. Agitha watched the horrifying scene unfold wishing there was something she could do. Suddenly she felt an overwhelming amount of power wash over her. Auru and Zelda noticed a green glow coming from behind them and turned towards her. "Leave him alone!" she cried as her eyes glowed a bright neon green. Link stared at the creature as it was inveloped in a glowing cyclone. It seemed to struggle to escape before disappearing in a green flash. --------------------------------------- On top of Death Mountain Darbus was staring at a massive crater filled with bubbling lava. He noticed a green flash and caught a fleeting glimpse of a bizarre creature tumbling into the lava. Deciding that whatever it was it would have died instantly he chose to ignore it. --------------------------------------- After sending the creature away Agitha collapsed to the ground and blacked out. The last thing she heard was Zelda asking, "Was that Farore's Wind?" |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
It's a deal. I'm trying to give Link a bit more personality than the games do. I'm thinking very hard on how his character will develop as the story progresses. The next chapter should be done sometime today.
Agitha didn't know how long she had been sleeping but she knew it must have been several hours. She laid there for several minutes drifting in and out of sleep. Suddenly the fog in her head departed and she realized what had happened. She shot upright and stared at a group of figures in front of her. "Agitha, it's me, Link, are you alright?" asked one of them. She thought for a few seconds before responding, "Yes, i'm okay. What happened? I remember that creature was about to attack you and then...the rest is a blank." "Agitha, do you remember who i am?" asked Zelda. "Princess Zelda, last of the Hyrulean Royal Family." "Correct, that creature was going to kill us all, and then...you sent it away." "Sent...it...away, yes i remember, i wanted very badly to help Link, and then i felt all this power. I...i did send it away," she said slightly shocked. "Hylians are born with magical powers, however, that skill slips away with each passing generation," said Auru. "Now it's almost exclusive to the Royal Family and the most important of Nobles. Me being one of them," he said as white glow surrounded his hands. "Excuse me, child," said Ashei, "where are your parents?" "I don't have any." "You're an orphan?" asked Zelda. "No, i never had parents. In fact, i have almost no memory of anything until about five years ago." "Really?" asked Zelda. "Yes, the first thing i remember is waking up in a forest five years ago. A man named Rahlo found me, he gave me a house in this town and checked in on me every now and then. Three years ago he...died. Every since then i've grown very independent. I...hello there beetle!" she exclaimed when a glowing insect landed on her hand. "You seem to like bugs," said Ashei as she gazed around the room. "Yes, i especially like the golden ones, they remind of a friend i once had. Her name was Rina. She had bug wings and glowed like beetle does." Zelda gave Agitha a curious stare, "Agitha, could Rina talk?" "Yes, she was my friend before i lost my memory. That's the only thing i remember." Link was about to ask her a question when Agitha suddenly got a blank look on her face. She stood up and, like an automaton, walked towards a shelf. Link and Zelda followed her. Once there Agitha pulled out a small brown potato shaped object. She put it against her mouth and began to play. Link and Zelda watched for a few seconds. Suddenly she began to glow and fade away. Instinctively they both grabbed one of her shoulders before vanishing in a flash. Ashei and Auru stood there staring at the spot where the three of them had just been. ------------------------------------------- Zelda, Link, and Agitha appeared in the middle of an ancient ruin. After looking around for a few seconds Link said, "The Sacred Grove?" "I believe it is," said Zelda as she noticed they were standing on a symbol of the Triforce. "Agitha how did you bring us her?" " I don't know," she replied staring around, "I just got this urge to play a song on my ocarina. Wait! I remember something!" She rushed off into the woods. After several seconds Link and Zelda hurried after her. She eventually stopped in front of a pond and looked around. After several seconds she began to play another song. Link listened before exclaiming, "That's the same song the skull kid plays!" Once she finished playing Agitha looked around before hearing a familiar laugh. She turned and saw the skull kid standing behind her. They looked at eachother for a long time before he asked in a highpitched childish voice, "Agitha? Is that you?" "Yes Skull, it's me," she said with tears in her eyes. The skull kid walked over and hugged her. "It's been five years since i last saw you! Where've you been? We've all been worried sick!" "It's a long story. Could you lead us back to the village?" Skull looked at Link and Zelda before responding, "Sure!" The three of them followed him through the woods. Two knowing, the other two uncertain of where they were going. |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
Link, Zelda, and Agitha followed Skull for the better part of an hour. Link eventually realized that someone else was playing the Skull Kid's song, he tried to pinpoint the source before realizing that the sound was what Skull was leading them towards. Soon after the four of them arrived in a massive clearing. As Link looked around he saw what looked like houses carved out of the trees. He also realized that the inhabitants of the houses appeared to be a group of children. Link tried to count but their constant movement was throwing him off. He decided there were about fifteen of them. "Wait here," said Skull. He disappeared once again and reappeared on a stump in the center of the clearing. After several seconds he began playing to get the attention of the children. One of them, a female with green hair, had been playing an ocarina but stopped and walked up to him. He appeared to be explaining something before pointing at Agitha. The girl turned and saw Agitha standing there. Afterwards she motioned for her to come up and stand next to her. "What are they doing?" whispered Link to Zelda as Agitha stood beside Skull and the girl. Zelda just stood there staring. "Princess are you okay?" "Yes i'm...fine, it's just...no one has seen a Kokiri in almost three centuries. We assumed they'd died out but, here they are." They turned back towards the crowd when they heard the music start again. The Kokiri appeared to be having a celebration of sorts. --------------------------------------------- After the Kokiri had celebrated the return of their friend Agitha, Link and Zelda were told to wait one of the houses. Several minutes passed until Skull, Agitha(now dressed in the green clothes of a kokiri), the green haired girl, and another girl with blonde hair entered. The other three sat down while the green haired girl began speaking, "My name is Saria, i'm, for lack of a better word, the leader of the Kokiri," Link noticed the blonde haired girl was fighting back tears when she said this. "Agitha tells me that you saved her from a monster in Hyrule Castle Town. She also says that you needed to find our village for some reason. What is that reason?" "The Blade of Evil's bane, the Master Sword, has been destroyed by a demonic being known as Majora, my companion and I were tasked with tracking down the next group of sages. We were told that one of them is a Kokiri." Saria stood there thinking, after several seconds Agitha rose and said, "Saria, maybe we should consult the Great Deku Tree." "I'm afraid that's impossible," said Saria. The other two began shifting uneasily. "Why?" "He's dead," whispered Saria solemnly. ------------------------------------------------ The six of them stood there staring at the massive tree that stood before them. The wood was a dull gray color and the leaves were brown. "What happened?" said Agitha through tears. "We don't know, he just died one day," whispered the blonde haired girl, "My brother went to find a way to save him, but he never returned." "I'm sorry Fado," whispered Saria as the other girl began crying. Link stood there looking at the tree for several seconds before Saria asked him, "Out of curiosity, why are you dressed like that?" "I was told by the light spirit Faron that this tunic was once worn by a legendary hero. Why do you ask?" "Because a friend i once had looked just like you. He was raised as a Kokiri but it was eventually discovered that he was a Hylian. After a while, he left the forest and headed for Hyrule. That's the last time I ever saw him, or any other Hylian, until now." "What was this boy's name?" asked Zelda. "Link," she responded. Link's eyes grew wide. He opened his mouth and said, "That's...my name!" Saria and the others stood there staring while Link suddenly realized what this could mean. |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
Thanks guys. Don't worry Demon all will be revealed in time! Electricut what's the name of your fic?
Link was still thinking about what Saria had said when he heard a strange rustling sound. He looked around trying to find the source before seeing something coming out of the forest. "Get down!" he cried as a giant root from one of the trees shot out of the ground and swung at them. "Link! Look at the tree-line! There's something there!" shouted Agitha as a large creature began to appear. It stepped out from the cover of the trees and stared at the six of them. They would have wrong but they were to busy staring at this bizarre being. It had the rough shape of a human but appeared to be made out of vines and branches twisted together. As Link stared at the creature he somehow knew, without being told, that this being was the Demon of the Forest. "Can you speak!" called Zelda. The creature shuffled toward them. The two hollows where its eyes would be glowing an acid green. "Get the other Kokiri out of here," commanded Link, "I'll deal with this being." "Link you can't face it all alone!" shouted Agitha. "Just do what i say!" shouted Link as the Demon began to cry out. After the others had retreated Link charged foward and slashed a deep gash in it with his sword. The creature staggered for a second before knocking him back. Link stared in horror as the Demon's body grew back right in front of his eyes. He was attemting to figure out what to do when the forest appeared to come to life. "You want me! Come and find me!" called Link as he plunged into the forest. The being watched him before moving with unnatural speed. The chase was on! ------------------------------------------ Link had no idea how long he had been running. Nor where exactly he was running too. All he knew wast that he had to get this creature away from the Kokiri Village. He ducked as another branch swung towards his head. "It's bad enough i can't defeat this thing!" he said through gritted teeth, "But the entire forest is attacking me and moving out of his way!" He turned back for a few seconds and watched as the forest parted to make way for the creature. "Can't run much longer!" he shouted as a root shot out of the ground and attempted to trip him, "It's catching up...wait is that!" He used the last of his strength to plunge ahead and at last reached a gap in the woods. Roots reached for him but were unable to reach any where near the middle of the clearing. "Alright then!" he called to the Demon as it entered the clearing, "Let's do this fair and square!" The creature looked around before letting forth a loud cry. It took Link a few seconds to realize that it was laughing. Unsure what to do Link stood his ground and watched as it approached him. When it was finally close enough Link began slashing like crazy at the creature. But every injury he inflicted on it was repaired just as soon as he slashed again. Link didn't give up and attacked even more violently. After several seconds he struck what looked like a giant gemstone within the creature's body. But the wound closed before he had time to react. "Link watch out!" called Agitha as she ran into the clearing. Link didn't have time to react before the Creature struck him once more. He was sent flying into a nearby stream. "Link!" cried Agitha as she ran towards him. "Leave him alone!" The creature stared at her before dashing over and grabbing her around the waist. "Put me down!" she commanded while struggling to break the creature's grip. "Let her go!" roared Link as he shot out of the water and hacked off the arm that was around Agitha. "Link! Agitha! Get back!" Not caring who the voice belonged to Link grabbed Agitha and leaped backward. The Demon began to move toward them before being struck by a glowing ball of energy. It glowed for a few seconds before bursting into flames. Link followed the path of the attack and saw Zelda, Saria, and Skull had entered the clearing. "Thank the gods you're okay," sighed Zelda with relief. "Hey what's that?" asked Skull as he pointed to the charred remains of the monster. The others turned and saw a glowing green orb rise into the air. It looked like a cirlular emerald. Saria stared before exclaiming, "Mido!?" On closer observation the others realized that the orb was hollow. Curled up inside of it was a boy with red hair and freckles. The orb flashed several times before shattering. Mido fell to the ground and cried out in pain. "Mido! Are you okay?" asked Saria as she and Skull knelt beside him. "What happened?" he groaned. "Hey! Look at this!" called Agitha. The shards of the orb were floating in the air. They drifted for several seconds before glowing an intense green and combining into one small glowing orb. It floated in the air before flying to Agitha. "What's it coming to me for?" asked Agitha as it glowed in front of her. Zelda was about to answer before the heard a loud cackle, "I told Majora she should have sent me!" They looked around before realizing that a figure in a dark cloak was standing one a tree branch. "Who are you?" called Link. "Your death!" he hissed. |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
it's will be called the dark side of the legend, though I haven't compiled enough solid story to put it on here yet. as soon as I do i'll let you know. one possible problem here though.... if the fado you mentioned was the one from wind waker, genius idea, but he was male. shouldn't be too hard to fix if it needs to be. and, uhh... did you just start a post for this story? and under which section? I'll get mine started as soon as I know how.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Demon's Revenge (T)
Something I noticed, you use the exclamation point when you really mean to use a question mark because at the end of this last chapter, Link asks a question but you use !
