Link's Short Tale.



~*Kokori Forest*~ Link was riding on Epona to see Saria. "Hm... If I remember right i think this tunnel should take me right to the forest..." Link was in deep thought, he hasnt been to Kokori Forest since his adventure started, 4 years ago. Link made Epona to a complete stop, "Epona Stop! Hold on we are here." Link jumped off Epona and gave her same carrots and ran into the forest. He ran to his old house, seeing that it was abandon. He climbed the ladder and looked inside, everything was the same like he left it 4 years ago. "Wow.... Has there not been any person or animal here?" he said. "Oh! Yes, well right now someone is in here!" a familar voice said. "Huh? Woah!" He stared at Saria. "Saria! I-I cant belive you came in here!" he glared at her. "He he! Link! I saw you, you shield glimmered, no one has ever seen something like that in Kokori Forest!" she smiled. "Yeah...... Hey we is the grumpy Mido?" he laughed. "He's guarding the the Great Deku Tree again. With a Deku branch" she smirked a bit. Link, now 14 had been taller than Saria, "Saria.... Hows the Deku Tree?" he looked puzzled a bit. "Oh, well i don't know.... Mido never lets me go past him. Maybe you could talk some sence into him?" she frowned. Then she took out a charm-like thing out. "Link, i've made this for hoping you'd come back and take it..." she held it out for Link. "Saria... thanks! But what is it? No offense or anything." he smiled taking it. "Oh! None taken, its a lucky charm, its made from almost everything from the forest, look even the the water is in it, shake it!" she laughed, then yawned. "Saria, come on lets see why Mido is like this." He hopped out and ran towards Mido's spot. 'MIDO!!!" he yelled. Mido jumped up and saw Link. "What!? That kid is alive!? He left the forest! Hm. I'll ask the Great Deku Tree...... but first...' He stated. "Link! Wait for me!" Saria running behind Link. Mido looked surprised. " Saria still likes him? After he left?!" he looked so confused and surprised. "Mido, Why wont you let anyone near the Great Deku Tree?" Link glared at Mido. "I don't need anyone just walking up to him." he stated wanting to change the subject. "Oh right fine!" Link pushed Mido out of the way and headed for the Deku Tree. "Saria. How could you STILL be friends with him!? He left our forest." Mido stared at her. "Mido. HE HAD to leave. The Great Deku Tree knew he wasnt a Kokori. He made Link go threw FARORE KNOWS WHAT! Besides. He's brave enough to walk through that tunnel and not think about what happens outside of this forest!!!" Saria was fusterated. Mido was kinda sad that he wasnt the one that was picked out like Link was. "Link betrayed us! He left us to go kill monsters. THATS IT!" Mido was also now fusterated. Link on the other hand was at the Great Deku Tree. " Oh Great Deku Tree. It is I Link." He looked at the Deku Tree and waited for a reply. "Oh. Link, you have returned. What was the reason you came back?" The tree replyed. " I just wanted to see Old Friends. Thats all. Well of coruse you too." Link smirked. ~*Back to Mido and Saria*~ Saria fianally replyed to Mido, "Mido. Your mindless aren't you! Link set out to save the world of Hyrule! He went through thougher monsters then the ones in Kokori Forest!" Saria shoved Mido causing him to fall down. Then Saria left for the small pond. ~~** End of Part 1! **~~

PART 2: THE MISTAKE



Mido jumped up and started to run after Saria, but then... Link shoved him into the water. "Eh. Good enough!" Link smiled and jumped across the water. "See yah Mido!" He laughed and followed Saria. "Gr..... Dangit." Mido ran to the the Great Deku Tree hoping
The Deku Tree knows stuff about Link, and so he did. "Saria! Wait!" Link kept trying to catch up with her. Saria thought it was Mido so she kept running and jumped on the vines and climbed them. "SARIA!!!" Link yelled.

"I'm not stopping!" Saria replyed. She ran into the tunnel not knowing what was infront of her. "Saria no!" Link clawshot the vines and caught up to her and and tackled her. "Saria! What in Din's Fire are you thinking?!" He got up and brushed the dirt off his tunic. "Oh! Link..... It was you! I-I" Link cut her off. "Saria! Your almost out of the forest..! Few more steps and you could be dead!" Link cried. "L-Link, I D-did't know!" Saria cried. "Hm." Link said while pulling Saria out of the tunnel into the forest.

Saria looked so dissapointed she could of killed herself. "Link...." Saria whispered. "Saria shush. I'm leaving now. Your NOT stopping me one bit, and if you do. I'm never returning again." Link said. Link climbed up onto Saria's house and watched the sky. "Hyuh...." Link whispered while he kept watching. "Link!" Saria yelled, "Wait for me!" Saria also climbed to the top and laid down next to Link, and watched the sky also. "Haaa...." Saria stretched.

Mido saw them both while walking out the path to the Deku Tree. "Why that little....." Mido whispered as he ran to them. "SARIA!" Link shot up watching Mido ruunning towards them. "I'll leave you two alone. Anyways i'm pretty tired. I'll take a nap in my treehouse See yah!" Link climbed off and ran to his house. "Saria!" Mido climbed up. "S-Saria... Link... kissed..... a girl.... named Zelda! She's out of this forest.... al-" Mido got cut off by Saria. " Mido!" she sighed and said, "Yeah Thats Princess Zelda, of the Royal Family! Mido... you don't know MUCH do you?" Mido looked embarrased and said, "Link kissed her though!" Mido cried.
