The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Prologue: A Change in Fate The three Godesses were doing there duty. They were watching over Hyrule from above the clouds. However, they felt a little uneasy about the current state of Hyrule. They sent out there messenger to gather up the Light Spirits and the Seven Sages. The messenger flew out like a rocketleaving behind a small trail of light. Then, the Godesses got a weird feeling. They had only felt it once before, and that time the world almost perished. A few hours later... The messenger had returned with all of the Sages and Spirits. He bowed to the Godesses, they acknowledged, and he left. "Why did you come get us?' asked the Water Sage. "There is going to be a great evil returning to roam the lands." Answered Din. "How do you know that it is really a great threat?" Eldin asked. "Everyone here knows that our predictions have never been false. Also, the fact that there is a certain someone capable of doing this is somewhere in Hyrule makes matters worse." replied Farore. "Yes, and with the second Civil War going on, the three tribes of Hyrule are having negative interactions. So, if they don't get over it, then Hyrule will probably fall to a great evil." "Gather around as we want you to know what we had predicted to come in time." On the night that the moon is weak, the darkness will be formed, Twelve days later, the same darkness will be used in a ritual to ressurect the Dark God, The Hero that slayed the Demon will then face a demon like no other, When all else fails, a time of mourning will begin, and after the storm, will there be a time for mourning the fallen, and unite what was once lost... "Now, what we also called you hear for was so that we could give you directions to help Hyrule. The Sages will take their tribes to their temples. The Light Spirits will try to form a complete barrier around their area of hyrule. Faron, give Lanayru some help with it, expand your area of the barrier out alittle into his." ordered Nayru. "Right." the Sages and Spirits said in unison. then, they all left for their homes. "Do you think that one Hero alone will be enough?" questioned Nayru. "What I don't seem to understand is that Hyrule never rains, yet our prediction will have a storm in it if the events do happen." said Farore. This will and always will be known as Hyrule's Finest and Darkest Hour...

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
If anyone is wondering why this is known as part 1, its because this is a two part story in which the hero is in both of them.
Chapter 1: Hyrule City During the times of the first Civil War, there was a horrible attack on the former capital known as Castle Town. That day became known as the Burning of Hyrule. But all was not lost as all the Hylians worked to gether and expanded the city. With the expansion came new buildings such as the Hylian Palace and Hyrule's first ever museum. That was created only a few years ago. But now it is present time. Link was living a normal life in Hyrule City. His parents had died when he was young. they went out as special ops for the Hylian Guard to get info as to what the Gorons were doing. Weeks passed by with no discovery of them. They were anounced dead. This day for Link was unique however as he was able to spend time with Zelda. Her loyal bodyguard, Rengjak, came along too. (Rengjak is pronounced reign jack) They were to meet up outside the castle. Link got his boots on. He walked towards the door, and then stopped. He looked into his mirror and sighed. His hair was a mess no matter what he did. Then, he got his sword, for protection, and left. At the castle Link walked up to the large castle and could make out two figures. Zelda and Rengjak were there waiting for him. They all left and headed out towards the Hylian Palace. Link rarely got to go there as he was either at the market or spending time with his friends in the neighborhood. When they got closer he could make out the unique design of the building. It was a tall building. Almost as tall as the Castle itself. But the main difference between the castle and the palace were that the palace had no boundary walls and it had a flat roof with access. Zelda, Rengjak, and Link all headed into the Palace. Unbeknownst to them someone was following. He was a mysterious man that has no origins whatsoever. His only known name is The Sorcerer for he is highly skilled in sorcery. "It's showtime," the Sorcerer said and went in after the three.

Chapter 2: History
Zelda, Rengjak, and Link went into the Hylian Palace. They went up stairs, went through doors, and did some unfortunate backtracking. But in the end they found a black door that seemed to be emitting an evil force from it. Zelda opened the door, and inside was a large room with a display on the other side. Inside that display was what looked like a bunch of junk, but was actually something known as the Ancient Artifacts of Great Evil. There were twelve distinct items that belonged to twelve different Evil Personas. "Link, do you know anything about these artifacts and what the owners did?" asked Rengjak. Link shook his head. "Sit down, this may take a while." said Zelda, and they all sat down. "Now lets begin with this one shall we? "Ganondorf: The man of the desert. He is said to be the only bearer of the Triforce of Power aside from Rengjak here. He began his quest for the Triforce thousands of years ago. His plans have been stopped over and over again by a Hero. It is said that he was killed with the Master Sword itself. Twinrova: This is the fused form of the witches, Koume and Kotake. Together they wreaked havoc upon Hyrule and were the surrogated mothers to Ganondorf. They taught him all of his magic and swordplay. Their death remains to be a secret. Nightmare: A strange entity that one Hero happened to find. Nothing is known about it at all. Onox: This menace can turn into a giant dragon. His primary weapon is a mace. He was sacrificed to bring back Ganondorf. Veran: Her powers are remarkable as they allow her to control people. She too was sacrificed in a ritual to bring Ganondrof back to life. Destruction: Not much is known about him as his attacks were recent. He has the opposite of the Master Sword known as the Nightmare Blade. Shadowpain: This two man team are the right-hand men to Destruction. They managed to take over a whole country all by them selves, and yet Destruction is even more powerful. Dark Link: This is a soul that was created whenever a Hero took the Master Sword out of the pedestal. the Master Sword repels all evil, and the evil within you becomes this dark counterpart. Agahnim: Origin is unknown. However, he helped in making Hyrule total chaos. Agahnim was fought valiantly twice by a Hero, and on the second battle did he die. Zant: Zant was a pain for one Hero in the past, he was always calm throughout the entire time he took over Hyrule. But when he lost Hyrule he slowly became more and more unstable. that was the leading factor as to why he died. Vaati: This sorcerer managed to almost resurrect Ganondorf from his imprisonment. But he failed and was killed. Majora: Majora was born several hundred years ago to an extinct tribe. No one today knows what this tribe was called, only that they practiced heavily in magic and melee. Majora was a child that the ansectors said would make them proud. However, his parents were very mistrusting, they literally whipped him into shape. One day, while he was out wandering his tribe's village; he came upon an arts and craft shop. He bought a few items, brought them home, and created a mask. He then animated the mask to come to life. When Majora became old enough, he left his village. He travelled to various places, but one place he went to stayed with him. That place was Termina. He met a very curious man that was selling masks, he gave no name. Majora bought a few masks from him, and the shopkeeper said that he'd throw in a hint for free. Majora listened intently for a hint on where he was. But the hint he got was to not always trust those that you love. Majora was very confused at this news. The owner laughed and showed him what was happening at his tribe's village. The ancestors and his parents were all having a meeting on whether Majora should live or die due to his excessive magical powers. Hearing this immediately enraged Majora. He went back to his village at once. There he began a Massacre. When he got to his parent's house, he saw that the ancestors were in there. He slowly tortured them all to death. For the next several hundred years Majora was obsessed with killing people. He would always escape death, until one day. He thought it was a normal day. However, it was the day that Koume and Kotake were born. Sensing that there was a strong prescence of magic Majora headed for Hyrule. When he got there, The two sister's fought him to a fight to the death. Majora, sure of his abilities was able to defeat the twins. He let them live, as they provided "a good challenge". Majora, then began to flee the country, but he was caught and killed with a strange blade. A blade that no one has seen the likes of for over 200 years. However, his prescence remained in his mask until the Hero of Time "killed" it. The day that Majora killed his tribe became known as the Night of the Lost Tribe Massacre." Then, out of nowhere there was a loud bang. A/N: Decided that this story needed a lttle work done (new chapter).

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Hey man, I liked this! I like how you tried to tie nearly every Zelda game together into the backstory of this one, even inventing some previous antagonists on your own. I don't normally look in fan fiction so I can't really compare this to others, but story wise I like where this is going!
One thing I can suggest is to pay more attention to the character's dialogue...for example, the goddesses didn't sound like goddesses at all to me, they sounded like regular people who were worried over a country. I liked their prophecy though, you went on the right track with that. This applies for the spirits and sages, too. |

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
^Well the Godesses won't appear until the beginning of part two. So, they aren't a big character development.
Chapter 3: The Dangerous Dozen The loud bang caused Zelda, Rengjak, and Link to quickly turn around. There standing in the doorway was a man about 4 feet tall, in a dark-colored outfit, and was holding his hand out towards the three of them. All of a sudden, They all got lift off the ground and slammed into the side of the room. Then, the man whispered something and a barrier popped up around them. "Oh no! This barrier makes anyone who is inside it invisible to those outside it!" exclaimed Zelda. "Right you are, my lady," the man said towards Zelda, then pointed at Link and said," You, you don't know who I am do you?" Link shrugged. "I am known as the Sorcerer due to my superior magic skills to those that you have. Hehhehheh," said the Sorcerer. Then, the Sorcerer directed his attention towards the opposite wall, the wall with the Ancient Artifacts on it. He went over to them, sat down, and started chanting something. Out of nowhere it all happened. The room went completely dark. Each of the twelve Artifacts started emulating a different color. Majora's Mask: white, Ganondorf's Trident: Grey, Zant's Helmet: Blue, Onox's Mace: Gold, Destruction's Blade: Black, Shadowpain's Spear: Orange, Vaati's Crystal: Purple, Twinrova's Scepter: Brown, Nightmare's ???: Yellow, Dark Link's Tunic: Silver, Veran's Crown: Blue, and Agahnim's Gem: Red. Each of those colors then began to shape themselves into humanlike form. The end result. The Dangerous Dozen was revived and on the loose all at the same time. "Welcome my friends to Hylian Palace," said the Sorcerer. "Don't test me," snarled Ganondorf. "Now tell me where the Princess is." "In due time, but I figured you would want to help your comrades with destroying the current Hero." "... Yes, I do want to get rid of any Hero possible." " The plan is that each and everyone of you will partner up with someone. Then, you will create a fortress or something that will stand out in the area that you are located in. Finally, if the Hero does succeed in killing you, your items here will produce enough evil energy to be the first twelve sacriices to ressurect the Dark God. Now, if you want to partake in this, grab your item and get partnered with someone." There was aloud ruckus as the twelve quickly got there weapon, or whatever item was there, and then partnered up. "Hmm, Zant, Onox, Ganondorf, Majora, Vaati, Destruction, come here," Said the Sorcerer. The six of them went over to the Sorcerer and waited for him to speak. "You six are well known throughout the world. Anyone is wanting to kill you. However, you six will partner up with one of those six. Now, to make this easier I will tell you where you should go. Majora, go to Termina. Ganondorf, stay in Hyrule. Zant, return to the Twilight Realm. Destruction, reclaim your right as leader of the Nightmare Realm. Vaati, head to Labrynna. Onox, you will go to Holodrum." the Sorcerer said. The six nodded, and went over to look for a partner. Zant, Ganondorf, Destruction, and Majora found theirs quick. Onox quickly chose Dark Link, and Vaati was stuck with Nightmare. Majora was teamed with Agahnim, Ganondorf and Twinrova, Destruction and Shadowpain, and Zant and Veran. "Now, move out," said the Sorcerer, and the twelve exited the room. The Sorcerer began to leave when he turned around and said, "They want to kill a Hero. So, I should give them one." He released the barrier around Zelda, Rengjak, and Link, setting them free. "The world is doomed if we don't do something, quickly that is," Said Zelda. Link and Rengjak nodded. They all knew what was in stake if they all just sat around and did nothing. The entire world was in danger, not just Hyrule this time...

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Chapter 4: Eve of Death
Zelda, Rengjak, and Link all left the Hylian Palace. When they got outside, they saw the result of what had happened. There were bodies laying all over the steps, dead bodies that is. The three of them went over to investigate, and saw that some of them had strangle marks on them. Others were beheaded, there was one person with absolute no recognition to his face he was so badly damaged. Zelda gasped and then said, "He was the second-in-command of the Hylian Guard." Link was overcome with shock as he looked down the stairs and out towards the gate. Within his vision he saw at least a dozen more bodies. Each of them were wearing something silver as they had been members of the Hylian Guard, too. Link quickly started down the stairs when Zelda said, "Link, where are you going?" "Well, someone has to stop them, and that man said they wanted a Hero. Was he not talking about me?" Link said. This was ture, but he wanted to check out his neighborhood first before going on to look for the new threats. "All right Link, but here, you will need this," Rengjak said as he tossed Link his sword. Link set off to see his neighborhood. When he reached there he saw that the Hylians were left unharmed. "Link, what are you doing here with that sword?" Asked one of the neighbors. "I... I am the chosen Hero and need to take care of the bad guys," was Link's reply. "Ahh. But a sword alone is not sufficient enough. You must know its language. Come here and I will teach you some simple swordplay. I'll even be willing to throw in something special," said the neighbor. The two men went into the house next to Link's. When they got to the basement, Link was amazed by all the different notes written on the wall. Each note described a sword move. A few hours later "Link, come back here when you wish to learn a secret, hidden move that I self-taught myself," said the neighbor. Link simply nodded and went to the door. Just when he was about to leave, he turned around and saw the old man holding out an old shield. "Here, how else were you going to defend yourself? With your arms?!" the old man cackled. Link accepted the shield and left. As soon as he got outside, he heard Zelda's voice. Where it was coming from, he was unsure. Then, he dug around in his little pouch, and pulled a stone out. "Link, this is Zelda. I want you to know that Rengjak and I are going to find a way to Holodrum. We will tell when we find it," Zelda spoke through the Gossip Stone. The next day... "Link? Link?! LINK!! Are you there? We found the entrance to Holodrum. It's located near the western section of Hyrule Field. Beware, as there is a battle going on right now. You don't want to get caught in the middle of it," Rengjak said. Link got up, and went to the western exit of Hyrule City. The walk took him longer than he thought, but when he got to it he found Rengjak. He led Link to an alley off to the side. "Link, the portal is right through the entrance over there. We looked in through the windows, and it looks different than when seen through the door, almost as if something took its place," Link went over to the building, looked in, and saw a group of people huddled around a table. He started towards the door. Link got to the door, opened it, and walked in. He forgot that the door was the portal at the moment. He felt a weird disturbance, and fell....just fell. Link landed smoothly in another building different than anything he had ever seen. "Welcome to Holodrum, newcomer," said a guard posted near him. Link looked at him with shock. He was in Holodrum.

Chapter 5: Holodrum
Link looked at the guard in shock. He was in Holodrum. How? He remembered talking to Rengjak, then entering the building. "Tell me mister do you know what to do with that?" the gaurd asked. Link looked towards where the guard was pointing. Outside the building was a wall. Link assumed it was a building that was situated next to it, nothing dangerous. "That building was never here until now. It appeared out of nowhere," the guard said to Link. "So, you want me to go check it out?" Link questioned. "It would be very kind of you if you did," "How do you know who I am?" "Oh, I assumed that you are a Hero. You see a long time ago someone that looked and dressed like you came here and destroyed the evil man that came here." "You do know that he is back right?" "Umm, yes." "Well, why do you want me to go to that building?" "He created it." "If he created it, it's probably full to the brim of enemies." "Yes, and since you, supposedly, are a Hero, then you can get rid of it." "Fine, but on one condition." "What's that?" "You show me how to get to Hyrule." "Where?" "I'll explain later, right now I have to get rid of this building." Link got up, and went outside. He went to the side of the building, and there, plain as day, was a massive building. Link never saw anything like it. It stretched on for what seemed like forever. Link gulped. He knew waiting inside were two of Hero's past enemies. He walked forward, towards the building. He got to the door, opened it, and went inside. His travels through the building were harsh, but there weren't too many enemies. Link then came across a silver door. He knew what was behind it, he readied himself and went in. To Link's astonishment he saw not Dark Link, but a sword. But it was not just any sword, it was the Master Sword. Link went to the sword and pulled it from the pedestal. What was the Master Sword doing here? Link could never figure that out as Dark Link suddenly emerged from the shadows and lunged at him.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Chapter 6: Dark Link
Dark Link lunged his sword at Link just as Link pulled out the Master Sword. Link brought the sword up to block the attack. However, the attack still made Link stumble backwards. Dark Link then quickly followed up with a couple of swings. Link moved as quickly as he could to dodge. Link, while crouched, swung his sword and leg out in a sweeping motion. Dark Link managed to dodge the attack, but Link attacked him with a couple stabs. Dark Link stumbled back, but regained his composure. He attacked Link with some more jabs. Then, both of them started to attack each other relentlessly. Swords were clanging against each other. Then, the evil opposite did a triple spin attack. Link was sent clean across the arena. Dark Link came up to Link. He kicked and toyed with Link. And just when Dark Link was about to stab Link, he stopped. Link pulled the Master Sword out of Dark Link. Then, Dark Link went into a rage mode. Link took a couple steps back, as Dark Link started swinging his sword so fast that Link would not have been able to block it. Link pulled off a spin attack, hit Dark Link, and then went for the kill. Dark Link got up, and noticed Link coming after him. When he saw the sword, he leapt up, and landed. Where he landed shocked Link. He landed right on the sword. Dark Link then quickly pulled off a couple of sword swings before jumping and doing an aerial spin kick. Link fell over backwards, then rolled out of the way as Dark Link brought his sword down in a two handed thrust. Link pulled off a couple of backflips to give him some space between Dark Link and himself. Then, he ran towards Dark Link. Dark Link was ready for it this time, or so he thought. Just when Link was close to Dark Link, Link jumped into the air. Dark Link pulled up his sword at the same time Link brought his own down. There was a massive spray of blood as the Master Sword penetrated Dark Link's neck. Dark Link dropped his sword, which vanished as soon as it touched the ground. Then, he fell over and disappeared too. All that was left was his tunic. Link quickly scooped up the tunic and tucked it away in a second pouch. Link got up, and left the room. He travelled throughout more of the massive building. And then he saw it. It was a golden door. He stepped forward and went in. There standing at the other end, seemingly waiting for him was the General of Darkness, Onox.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
A/N: A little something to tell you guys. This story is going to be roughly 26 chapters long. Part 2 is 23 chapters long, and my third fic, which explains Destruction and his gain to power, is a whopping 53 chapters long.
Chapter 7: General of Darkness: ONOX "Are you the one named Onox?" asked Link. Onox said nothing. "Do you talk?" "I prefer to let my weapon do the talking." Onox said with a little growl. He charged at Link with his mace in his hand. Just before he got to Link he stoppped. He activated a switch on it and the ball on it shot out. It hit Link and he was slammed into the wall. Onox walked over to Link and picked up his mace. Link looked at him with a dazed look. Onox struck him with the blunt end of the mace. Link gagged and coughed up a little blood. He then smiled. And struck his sword through Onox. Or so he thought. The sword only left a mark on his armor. Onox noticed it and proceeded to try and ground and pound Link. However, the latter was too fast. Link quickly rolled around Onox before drawing the Master Sword. Onox began to activate another switch. This time a chain came out with the ball. This gave him a ball and chain and a blunt weapon. He started to spin the chain around, and let go. Link couldn't dodge it in time and was caught. Onox then reeled in Link at a fast pace. And then he swung the blunt weapon. It collided with Link's face at a fast rate. Link's vision started to go blurry. He was not out of this yet. He couldn't be. If he died now, the whole world, everything, would be destroyed. Just thinking that made Link's Triforce glow. He suddenly felt like he could take on anything. Link looked at Onox with anger. He ran up to him and performed a jump attack. Onox fell over after that. He got up and was greeted with a couple more blows. Link then took careful aim and threw his sword. It hit the wall beside Onox. Onox, who was still struggling to get up, was taken aback when he saw that. Then, out of the corner of his eye he saw Link jump into the air. He brought his arm up, it blocked the attack. Link smiled at Onox. He wrapped himself around his arm and then shoved his sword through the split in his chestplate. Onox staggered back. He fell over to the ground and didn't move. Link proceeded to leave when he remembered that he needed to collect the mace. He went over to whre it was, but it was gone. Link quickly turned around and saw an Onox with no armor on. He ran at Link with such agility that there would be no time to react.Link was attacked with a few blows to the head from the blunt instrument. Onox then ran back a little and binded Link with the ball and chain. He used his muscles and slammed Link into the ground on the other side, then back again. He did this several times before stopping. Link got up, his face was a mess, his clothes were ripped. He then started attacking Onox back. Onox was surprised to still see him move. He managed to block some attacks, but not all. Link's one attak that really got through was when Onox stuck his hand straight out to grab Link. Link thrusted the Master Sword into the palm of his hand. It went through his hand and dow into the arm. Onox winced in pain. Link followed up with a quick spin attack at such close proximity that it was the final blow to take down Onox. The attack split Onox's body almost in half. Onox fell over, and Link knew this time he would not be getting up. Link picked up the mace, returned to its normal form, and started to leave. Link suddenly saw something shiny. He went over to it. It was odd. It was some armor, but it was self-illuminating. "Future Hero, this is known as the Light Armor. It will protect from some attacks that are dark based. However, to be well protected, you will need all the pieces of the armor scattered throughout." said a voice that Link did not recognize. Link took the armor, and left through the door opposite the one he came in. He was outside... Two down, ten to go, Link thought.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Chapter 8: Twilight Realm
"Link, this is Zelda. I found a way to get to the Twilight Realm. Hurry, and get back to Hyrule." said Zelda via Gossip Stone. Link was sitting at the bar in Holodrum. He wanted to get back to Hyrule, but his friend didn't even know about the place. Link was about ready to give up when his friend found him. "Link, I'm so sorry it took so long," Said the guard Link first met. "Here, this is a map that will lead you to the portal returning you to Hyrule." "Thank you. I'll try to come back and visit sometime if I have the time to." replied Link. Link walked out of the bar, and into the bustling town. He looked at the map, and followed it. After travelling for a few hours, he came upon a giant wall. Link walked towards it, and it started to change. Soon enough the entire wall looked exactly like that of Hyrule City. Link headed towards the gate when he heard Rengjak's voice. He pulled out the Gossip Stone just in time to hear Rengjak say, "Come to forest, now." Link headed towards the forest. He knew where it was from studying Hyrule's geological land features so well. But one thing he did not want to remember was getting caught in the middle of a battle. As soon as Link got into the field that was connecting Hyrule City to the forest, he looked around carefuly. There were Gorons looking around. However, there backs were turned to him, but that still didn't make Link move very slowly. All of a sudden, a Goron turned towards Link. Link immediately dove behind a rock, and hid there. Thankfully both his tunic and the tall grass hid him well. Link started to crawl towards the top of the hill, when he saw another Goron standing at the bottom. Link knew full well that almost nothing could kill a Goron. Only a bomb could kill one, and the explosion would be loud enough for the other ones to be alerted. Link wasn't sure what to do, then the Gorons all turned there attention towards Hyrule City. The Hylian Guard was advancing towards the Gorons. The Gorons all rolled up into there ball form and rolled after the Hylians. Link took this to his advantage and ran into the forest. When he got into the forest he got another message from Rengjak. "Go to the entrance of the Sacred Area." Link followed the path and ended up finding the entrance. There, he saw both Rengjak and Zelda standing at the mouth of what looked like a giant log. "Link, there you are. We need to go to where the Master Swo- wait how did you get it?" Asked Zelda. "Ask me that a million times, my answer will always be 'dunno'. But please do continue," replied Link. "Well, the entrance to the Twilight Realm was hard to find. Ever since the past Hero destroyed the link to it, many searched for it. But then I remembered that my father spoke of a legend untold in any book. It was about the Triforce, and it's link to the Twilight Realm. "So, what we have to do is simply stand on our respective Triforce spot, and the portal will open." Link led the other two through the Sacred Area. They all came upon the Pedestal of Time. It was surrounded by a Triforce engraved within the ground. Link, Rengjak, and Zelda all took their respective places on the giant Triforce. Then, a rock started to shift. When it moved more folowed suit. When all of the Rocks were moved, a dark hole could be seen. Link walked up to it, and felt himself being immersed in another Realm. The Twilight Realm was definitely beyond this point. He entered into the hole, and found himself climbing up into an abandoned home. He was in the Twilight Realm. *** "Excuse me, could you tell me where to find the Palace?" was Link's only verbal words since arriving. "You know what? These Twili here will have a hard time understanding you if you keep talking about a Palace. But lucky you I know where and What you are talking about." said a female voice. Link stood there in awe. He couldn't believe what he saw, it was a humanoid Twili. And perhaps one of the most beautiful of its time. "My name is Queen Nevri. I was thrown out of my Palace and dethroned by that horrid pair. And by the way, why are you staring at me?" Nevri asked at the still shocked Link. Link shook his head and said, "I need to find the Palace so that I can defeat the evil within." "Fine, I'll help get you there, but don't expect me to hold your hand." Nevri gathered energy and lifted her hands towards Link. Link never felt anything so soothing. He was being lift of the ground, yet it didn't feel like it. Link made it to the Palace... The Palace itself was in great condition, but it had that moody effect to it. Link strode foward, climbed the stairs, and entered through the giant door. His experiences in the Twilight Palace were unique as there were multiple enemies unseen in Hyrule. But he managed to defeat all of them. Then, he came upon a different colored door. It was purple. Link entered it and found himself face-to-face with Veran.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Chapter 9: Veran
Veran immediately began the battle by sending out hordes of little bugs at Link. Link started to attack them when he noticed Veran disappear. Veran reappeared behind him and try to kick him, but he managed to block with his shield. Veran then backed up and launched multiple blasts at Link. Link tried to block with his sword and shield, but one of the attacks got through. He was knocked over onto the ground, and Veran landed. "I have you now!" yelled Veran as she turned into a ghostly form of herself. She went straight for Link and entered into his mind... "Link... Link... Link..." Veran kept hearing the voice over and over again, but it then became a nuisance. Then, something od began to happen. She started to lose all control of Link, and had to warp back to her body. Veran barely got into the body in time to dodge Link's attack. The blow was very powerful, and left a huge crater in the hole. Link then attacked very quick like with multiple sword attacks. Veran deflected the major blows with her arms, but sustained cuts. Veran decided that it was time for the fun to end, and withdrew her own blade. The two started up a battle that would be like no other. Swords were clanking, shields were rattling, and they were both in bad shape. Veran started to pull a jump attack, but instead concentrated that energy into strength, and pounded the ground. The ground shook badly, but Link managed to dodge the shockwave. Veran snickered "Got you for real." She then threw her sword at Link, missed, hit something, and came back to her. When she grabbed it, she felt an odd sensation. Her body began to glow with a brilliant white light as markings came all over her. Then, she was obliterated into nothingness. What she had hit was Link's Master Sword infused with the Light. Link went to where Veran was last at. He picked up her crown, and then proceeded to leave. The rest of the Palace was relatively easy compared to that battle. But he knew that there was still one more evil being here. He pursued what his gut was telling him, and came upon a giant door. Link entered the room and saw him siting there. He was sitting on the throne. He was Zant.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
I really want feedback on this...
Chapter 10: Usurper King ZANT Zant got off the throne, rose up into the air, and instead of calling on his giant warp thing; he launched multiple magic attacks at Link. Link blocked them all with his shield, but Zant quickly teleported behind him. Then, he was beside Link. Link was having a hard time keeping up with Zant. "Hmm, this Palace is my only stronghold from the rebels, so I shouldn't let it get into ruins." said Zant. Zant rose up, and this time the giant warp thing apeared. The two were warped to an isolated island, far beyond any place that Link could see. But that was the least of his worries, as Zant came charging at him with an odd shaped blade. Link just barely managed to dodge, when Zant sliced again at Link. Link grabbed his arm as it was injured. Zant then warped behind Link, and kicked him into the middle of the arena. Then, warped behind him and repeated. He finished it by doing a spinning kick to Link's side. Link gasped for breath, and then started to let out random attacks with his sword. The swords attacks were carried on relentlessly, as Link was blinded by pain. He was completely unaware that Zant was hovering above him, creating a clone of himself to distract Link. Link snapped out of his little trance and saw Zant's shadow. Link did a quick spin attack, and heard it hit Zant. Zant continued to warp around the tiny island. He would occasionally send a couple blasts at Link. Link blocked them all with his shield, when he felt a sudden change in air behind him. Zant had teleported right behind him and was about to stab Link. Link parried the blow, and immediately retaliated with a jump attack. Zant stumbled upon being hit, but he quickly regained compsure. Zant and Link started to trade blows back and forth between each other. Zant started to become anxious and threw his sword straight up into the air. Link saw what he did and readied a block. Zant warped up to his sword when it was at the peak of its ascent. He grabbed it at the hilt, pointed straight down, and he blasted downwards straight at the ground. When Zant reached the ground, the shockwave was so tremendous that Link barely managed to keep his balance. Zant however, was not so lucky as his sword got stuck in the ground. Link ran up to him and decided to end it there. He brought his sword down, and hit a rock. He was warped away by Zant just before he hit him. Zant warped over to Link, and tried to attack Link, but was stopped. Link grabbed Zant's sword, and twisted it so that it went through Zant himself. Zant started to go crazy and then blew up. Link reached out and got Zant's Helmet. He also received another piece of the Light Armor. He took a quick breather before trying to find a way off the island.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
Still very interesting... however...
I'll give examples of each point, so you know exactly what I mean. Points that need to be worked on a bit: -Grammar; It's sometimes hard to tell what you mean. "Got you for real!"? -Spelling; It's not so much as a nuisance as something that makes the reader question what's happening. "Then, something od began to happen." -Punctuation; Commas are being put in places they don't belong, and even left out where they should be. It gets a little difficult to determine what is happening, as commas are thrown around carelessly. Also, periods are being put in terrible places; this, you, however, have improved on. It's not so much that I can't find examples, but it just speaks for itself, dude. Points that need to be worked on, but not stressed: -Explanation/Description; You did a great job at explaining in the first few chapters, but come on, man; you're getting weak. "Her body began to glow with a brilliant white light as markings came all over her. Then, she was obliterated into nothingness." Exactly what did she hit and then grab to cause that to happen? Why would said object destroy her? -Character Individuality; Most of the enemies have had the exact same task - kill Link. What are their reasons for such? because some higher power told them to? They have little to no emotion and individuality, apart from Zant(which I think was the one villain so far that you have gave color to, though, this may just be because of the original childish manor that Nintendo gave him). Besides Zant, the other villains seem to be mindless zombies. Also, dealing with this, I would love to see more dialogue so that each character is shown expressing their self in a unique way. It seems that none have any feelings against Link, despite him have killing them in the past. As I said before, it seems their only motive is to kill Link for some greater power. Things that I think set your fanfic apart from the rest: -Creativity -Unique enemies -Length; not too many fanfics can give us the promise that you have - 26 chapters! I hope you take my opinions into serious consideration, as I think that if you would just elaborate a bit more and show more caution to grammar and punctuation, it could be alot better!

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood part 1 (T)
^Thanks I'll keep that in mind
ONI: The books that Zelda read on TP Link adventures were actually incorrect as when a Twili dies there existence anywhere will be erased or forgotten except through a pure blood Twili. Note: This chapter and next one is going to be kind of vague on details, but after that there all descriptive so I'm not getting weak. Chapter 11: Labrynna "Hey, Link!" exclaimed Nevri as she flew up to the Palace. She looked around, everything looked normal to her, completely normal. "So, why did you just holler my name?" asked Link, puzzled. "Oh, no reason," Nevri replied with a snicker. "Really? But never mind that, I need help getting back to a place called Hyrule. I was wondering if you might be able to help me?" Link offered. "Hyrule... Hyrule.... That name rings a bell, but I don't quite remember where I heard it from," Nevri said moreso to herself. Then, "Aha! Now, I remember! Hyrule was the place where the my great grandmother was banished to," Nevri said estatic. "Do you know if there was a link to Hyrule?" Link questioned Nevri. "Yes, as matter of fact, there were two. One was for anyone to see, it was the Mirror of Twilight. The other was so secret that there have been only a handful, including me, that have actually found the location. The second portal is the only link now, so come on," Nevri said to Link becoming even more excited. Link was beginning to worry about how excited Nevri was. She was the leader of a Realm. She should be less excited about this stuff, and more concentrated on leadership skills. That made Link worry. "Over here, its hidden in here," Nevri hollered at Link who was still standing in the exact same spot. Nevri, however, was at the entrance to the Palace. Link followed her, and she went inside. Link rushed in after her. Why is she running away so fast? Link thought to himself. "Wait... up!" Link had to yell inbetween breaths as he had been running after Nevri for quite some time. "Oh, come on slowpoke," teased Nevri. Nevri stopped, and Link caught up with her. "There, its in there, but getting to the portal is tough as there is a monster that will take on the form of whatever the person believes to be their biggest fear or opponent." Link started to go towards the room when he stopped, "What if we both go in at the same time? Wouldn't that confuse it enough to distract it from guarding the portal?" "Hmmm, I never gave it any thought, so yeah we could try that idea out," Nevri said after giving it a little thought. The two of them both went into the room, and the monster laid eyes on Link first. It turned into a red, blue, and green form. Then, it loked at Nevri, and turned into a giant white snake that was blinding to look at. Link and Nevri looked at each other and nodded, they knew what to do. Link was going to head after the portal while Nevri distracted the beast as much as possible. Link charged forward at a speedy pace. Nevri began to float around the room, launching blasts at the beast. Link picked up the pace, and was suddenly sent flying as the snake's tail whipped him away. The beast negan to focus on Link, and changed into the tri-colored monster again. Link made for the portal, but was stopped by the beast. It began to gather energy, and released giant fireballs all around. Nevri Launched another blast at the beast, and it reverted back into its snake form. Link used this opportunity to reach the portal, and step through. As he was being warped he saw Nevri charge up a blast, and go straight at the beast with blast still forming... "Nevri!" Link yelled as he heard a muffled explosion. He looked around, and saw Hylians running around. Hyrule City was beginning to get attacked by the Zoras. Link hurried over to the Castle, when his Gossip Stone began to buzz. "Link? Are you alright? This is Zelda, and I have found the warp to Labrynna. Come to the Market area." Link hurried over to the Market area, and saw Zelda standing there. She led Link over to one of the shops. "In there, its in there," said Zelda, and she left Link. Link felt a litle confused as to why Zelda was doing this, but since the Zoras were attacking he thought she was trying to stay hidden. Link entered into the shop, and saw a boarded up doorway almost immediately. He headed over to it as the shop was empty. He proceeded to tear of the boards. when he got done, he saw another shop through it. He stepped through, and found himself surrounded by a bunch of people who were laughing and having a good time. "Hey kid. You looking for work? I got something for ya," Said a gruff voice behind Link. In a corner of the room was a bearded man with one eye closed as it was scarred. "This eye was always a prolem, but that story could be told later. The reason I called ya over here was because of a problem some of my miners have been having. They would report back with anything ranging from scars from howling winds to burns from the hottest flames. They say that all these occurences happened within the mine. So, what I am asking of ya is to get rid of the problem, k?" the man said. "Deal," said Link. "The mine can be found here," the man said as he pointed to a spot on the map behind him. Link studied the map, and remembered the location of the mine. He travelled to the spot, and found the mine. Link went into it, and was suddenly freezing. the floor, everything was ice. The next floor down was windy, then scorching hot, and finally a little forest like cave. Within the forest floor was an odd colored door. Link went in, nad gave his opponent one big blank stare. It was Nightmare, but it was just a small blob of black almost-nothingness.
