a new comic idea

i have a new idea and need help artists and writers welcomed

I write, but uhh you might want to tell us what the idea is.

You already asked me but I thought Id post here. Like Skermafaten said, whats the idea?

Yeah, what is the idea?

its a comic based on Oot and will take place after the end of the game. the story is that link claims a place as a hyrule Knight And recieves proper training with a sword and other such tools and wepons. He still has Navi but she is a beeotch cuz she is stuck with him untill the new deku tree sprout grows up. being a kid he sneaks away from trainig to play with zelda and the two get into a lot of trouble. i plan on having link mature and eventualy marry zelda and start a plot line that ties into wind Waker.
thats my idea.

I have an even better idea.

Try plotting your own ideas for your comics instead of asking other people to do it for you. Not everyone has the time to devote to your idea. Besides, I think you would have a much better idea of how to plot this out than what any of us could possibly think up for you.

Why do you need a team? I would think you would much more noticeable if you did it yourself. Nothing any of us come up with is going to be anything like the idea you have. There is nothing wrong with collaborating with others to get ideas- just don't have the writers and artists do all the work for you.

they wont well maby artists but thats cuz i draw like a three year old. but what you say is true any 1 that helps me dosent know what im thinking and thats the beauty of it. i dont wsnt it to be just my story i want to share it with the world. or any that helps at least.

I would offer to help write (even though I agree with the others that you should do the writing for yourself), but seeing as this story is ZeLink and you're not even going to put any effort into Navi, I'm not.

Though if anyone wants to help me write a totally NaLink story that would mostly focus on the deteriorating mental state of Princess Zelda as her father dies from a deadly illness, I'm good.

I'm all up for bouncing ideas around, Calibur. Pester me on my visitor's board and I'll see what ideas we can come up with.

He makes a good point, though. While Navi is considered annoying, there are actually people who do like her. At the very least, sit down and work on your characters before you even get this off the ground.

I saw a Cartoon where navi is nothing but rude to link and i think that was funny.will be a big part of the story just not very nice to link and favors zelda.Look up The real legend of zelda

That was that movie, though. I've read some very good Navi fanfics out there, where she isn't depicted as obnoxious or annoying. It's fine if you don't like her, and it's fine if you want to use that as inspiration for your comic, but it's not going to be too original.

Find a notepad and jot down ideas on it. That's your start point.

its not that i dont like her i just think that after all the stuff she went through she would be a bit edggy.

She didn't seem too edgy in OoT. Even in the mangas, she seemed far from edgy- maybe weakened by dark magics, but that's about it.

Either way, there's a lot of comics out there that depict her as being obnoxious. Set yours apart from everyone elses! Then if you do submit it to NoA, you'll really be noticed.

...i dont realy remember her in the magna but its been a while since i read them. you do bring up a good point origanality. if you have any ideas lets here them

Try an idea where Navi is trying to be motherly and nurturing to Link...except make it go horribly wrong.

By horribly wrong, I mean something funny and stupid happens. =P

You're on the right track. If she's going to make him breakfast, make her go on this massive mis-adventure that starts with her getting chased by chickens.

But see? There you go! Now you have an idea!
