It had been three years after Hyrule was saved by the reborn Hero Of Time (the hero chosen by the godesses). Hyrule was in a deep slumber as it silently stood. Everyone in it's kindgom was at rest. All, but one person...

Princess Zelda stood in hyrule field alone. with her sword at hand, she stood still, so very still. She gazed upon her castle, very blankly with a face that was hard to tell what emotions lie behind it. Her sapphire blue eyes seemed to be the ones doing most of her expressions. They almost seemed to be screaming out of her depression. The stillness and silence was shattered by her faint voice.
"Hyrule, it seems like such a pleasant place, yet it's core is so empty" she whispered. (by core she meant castke jtlyk) Finally, the princess took her eyes off of the castle and glanced over to her left. The dawning sky was soon to come to an end, because the very rim of the sun had already shown. "Once the head guard comes to wake me, the whole place shall become chaos. Yet I have become so numb to their care for me" She thought aloud.

" You won't cry for my absence I know, you forgot me long ago. I'm I that unimportant? Am I so Insignifigant? Isn't someone missing me? Even though i'm the sacrifice, you won't try for me, not now. Though I'd die to know you love me, i'm all alone. Isn't someone missing me? And If I bleed, I'll bleed Zelda quietly sung to herself as a single tear fell from her pale face. She looked down at her sword and visioned herself about to plunge it into herself, and sighed.

"Can't sleep either?" a familiar voice awoken her from what seemed like a dream. She turned around to see Link standing behind her. He was clothed in the hero's garb. and as she had last seen him, though his essence seemed somwhat different. "Link?" Was all she mannaged to say. To her seeing him was like seeing light for the first time. "yes. I was just on my way to see you" Link replied. Zelda's expressive eyes seemed to impale him.


"Why would you come at this hour? Ilia would be worried sick from you. I'm sure as a wife, she's constantly worried about you. Any children from you two yet?" She frowned, remembering the wedding he was expecting when he and zelda were battling ganondorf. "No, no children" Link looked away from Zelda and avoided looking her in the eyes. "You would not stop talking abou thow much you loved her so I figured-" But Zelda was cut off by Link.

"Well, to tell you the truth, I never betrothed her" Link said. "Oh, realy. Uh, well I'm sure there are...other girls... who would want...to...I have to leave" Zelda said as she suddenly sprinted towards her horse that was standing quite a distance from where she was, quickily mounted him and rode off. Her heart raced and tears fell as the horse galloped swiftly. "Zelda! Wait!" Link yelled. He pulled out ht ehorse charm Ilia made for him, and summoned Epona.

Once Epona caught up to zelda, Link tried to get Zelda to stop. "Link, I Don't want to talk. Leave me!" She cried, but Link kept on going. "I realy need to talk to you. Please, give me at keast a couple seconds" He said. He then made Epona speed up and stop infront of Zelda's horse and the chase stopped. "Alright, talk" Zelda said. Link noticed the fear in her eyes and decided to let it go. "Never mind" Was all Link said.

"No, you aren't thinking of leaving without telling me. Why else would I stop to listen to you?" Zelda said as she wiped the fearful look off her face and ran after him. She stopped infront of him and riveted his arm. "You were scared, weren't you?" Link said to her. "Scared of letting you know- scared of losing you again" Zelda confessed. "You're the reason why I didn't want to marry Ilia" Link replied.

Zelda's eyes had that glow once more, she smiled for the first time in three years. And Link felt the same. "But why did you take so long? leaving me to suffer for so long" Zelda said, as the smile faded. "Even the Hero Chosen By The Godesses gets scare of some things" Link said. "You are more than my protector" Zelda said softly. "sssshhhh, there are no more words left to say" Link warmly smiled...
