(ZGen) Legend of Zelda: Ravages of Time

I'll try to make this fanfic as entertaining as possible. I'm up to suggestions. I'm making his up as I go, so anything is good. It's about a war that breaks out between all of the races of Hyrule and in several areas outside of Hyrule, such as Termina and Holodrum and Subrosia and all that. It starts with Link in a foreign land resting after another day of battle. The postman then arrives in the bar where Link has decided to settle for the night. It is from Princess Zelda asking him to come back. Link jumps at the opportunity to do so. He rides back at full-speed. Link has not been in Hyrule for the seven years since his return to his past. He had been in Termina for 3 days(as we all know) and has been travelling to the lands like Holodrum and Labrynna to right the wrongs they have. Much has changed since his last visit there. The races have secluded to themselves, none of them communicate with each other unless it's necessary. The Hylians have grown an unusual hatred toward the Gerudo due to Ganondorf's heritage. The Gorons and the Zora have started arguing about a quarrel that sprouted between there people. The remaining Sheikah of Hyrule have started to mysteriously disappear, but there are rumors of them showing up in foreign lands. The Kokiri Forest has noticed a strange disease growing from the trees of the Lost Woods, and the source of it was the connection to the Zora's river within the Woods. The Kokiri then begin to suspect someone of poisoning and the story unfolds from there. It starts out with Zelda and Link and they gain more party members along the way. Hope you enjoy it.

Prologue: Hero's Welcome

Link trudged his way into town and found the Milk Bar in it. He found a stool and collapsed upon it, weary eyed.
"Stalfos just don't know when to stay down... aggh." Link complained.
"Hard night?" the barkeep asked, polishing a glass and filling it with a smooth milk with an unfamiliar label.
"Lousy." Link replied. "Five Stalfos and a Moblin." Link said as he recalled his day. He had been slashed, tackled, stabbed, and least of all bruised. He used two fairies just to keep from death, today.
"Good to see somone out there doing some good. Monsters don't usually have a bounty unless they're a real menace. All the warriors here are after bounties on Hylians' heads, not monsters. Here, have a cool one, on the house." the barkeep offered with a large grin on his face that spread from ear to ear. His moustache matched the same length.
"Thanks." said Link gulping it all at once. "I needed that." Link said with sigh. He started feeling better already. But he didn't feel at all relaxed though. The Triforce mark upon his left hand had started glowing fervently. He wondered if this had something to do with Zelda, or Gods forbid, Ganon.
"Something wrong? I can usually tell when something is wrong. It comes with the trade." the barkeep said with another incredibly large smirk.
"I'm not sure." Link said with another sigh. "I've been gone for a long time and I haven't received any news for several years." Link explained.
"Youch. Years. I wouldn't be surprised if you find your stuff on the street of... hey where you from?" the barkeep asked.
"Hyrule." Link said with a heavy heart. He remebered all of his friends back in Hyrule. Especially Zelda, the one who believed in him enough to push him to his destiny.
"Hyrule, huh? Lots of stuff been going on there." the barkeep said casually as he reached for another glass to polish. Link's ears perked up at the sound of news from his home country. "Can't believe you haven't heard anything. Lots of stuff been happening there with the princess and all..." the barkeep continued.
"What about the Princess!?" Link asked, suddenly forgetting about his day's hardships.
"Rumor has it she's been sending letters all over the world searching for this one guy. Must be pretty important, for a princess to look for one guy on the face of the earth. He must be pretty lucky." the barkeep gossiped.
"Wow. Must be pretty important." Link agreed, dumbstruck. Wonder if she's looking for me. Wonder if she even remembers me. It has been seven yea...
"Letter for green-clad Hylian! Letter! Green! Hylian! Are you, sir, him bychance?!" the mailman asked in a ridiculously loud manner. "It's addressed to a Mr. Link?!" the mailman stated.
"That's me." Link said. "Well, then... here you are Mr. Link! Another letter duly delivered!" the mailman yelled as he power-walked out of the bar.
Link inspected the letter, it had the Royal Seal upon it and the address was written in writing so beautiful, it looked like calligraphy. Link opened it with great care.
"Looks important. Who's it from?" the barkeep asked. "You don't think it's from..." the barkeep continued. Link continued to open the letter. The excitement within him was overwhelming. He finally had the letter open and read it to himself:

"Link,
There has been much going on in these last seven years. There is much I wish to tell you. Please return to the land you saved as soon as you can. I will explain our plans further once you reach the castle. Please know that I have missed you dearly for these past seven years. I look forward to your arrival. The guards will know to let you in.
Yours Truly,
Princess Zelda of the Hyrulean Royal Family"

Link quickly folded the letter back into its envelope and pocketed it with the utmost care. "Sorry, but I have to go." Link said in a hurried voice.
"I understand, young man. Go, go home.... Whatcha waitin' for? An invite? Well you got it right there, so get goin!" the barkeep encouraged. Link thanked him and rushed out of the bar and hopped onto Epona. The barkeep watched the green-clad man ride out into the sunset. "Get going..."

It took Link three days to reach Hyrule, and he rode straight through the days and nights. He finally reached Hyrule Field at sunset. He reached the Castle Town Gates just before the soldiers started to raise the gates. He latched Epona to the guard post just past the gates. It was night as he reached the inner part of town.
"Wow, it really has changed." Link said as he observed the buildings of Castle Town. They had established many new buildings, such as stores and apartments, those of which had blocked off the normal route to the Castle. Now Link knew why the soldiers told him to stay inside. He didn't feel safe walking through the backstreets of Castle Town. Too many robed figures, and he was pretty sure that last guy just took 10 rupees.
But Link didn't care, he had to get to the Princess. She was all that mattered. She sent a letter to him from across over hundreds of miles. Just for him. Nothing was going to stop him.
He reached the Castle Gates at 10 P.M. The moon was steadily rising overhead. He wasn't going to get into the Castle even with the Princess' letter at this hour. Link was planning on bribing his way past the guards, but that man did steal his 10 rupees, his last 10 rupees. "Great, just what I need." thought Link. Luckily, he remembered the vines growing on the cliff-face he climbed as a child to meet Zelda. "Just like old times." Link thought as he climbed the vines. They had become overgrown over the past seven years, still strong enough to support his weight. He reached the top of the cliff and jumped off past the gate.
"Smooth sailing so far." Link whispered to himself. "Halt! Identify yourself!" a soldier yelled at the shadow going past the gate. "I'm too tall for this!" Link whispered in an angry tone. "I'm just going to have to run it!" Link thought to himself as he ran towards the castle. He didn't have time to scale any other walls or he would be caught, so he ran past the soldiers guarding the Castle. After 5 minutes, he had a trail of soldiers chasing him. "Halt!" several of them yelled. Link just ran towards the route he usually entered the Castle. "Looks like they finally noticed that milk..." Link said as he noticed the crates were gone. "She said they would let me in! She may be holder of the Triforce of Wisdom, but she wasn't right about this!" Link complained as he looked for a way inside the Castle. "You two search that way, you, come with me!" soldiers yelled in the distance. "Ahhhh, hope I fit!" Link yelled as he jumped at the hole that led to the Castle's Inner Gardens.
He nearly squeezed through as the soldiers came to the opening. "He's gotten inside! Tell the others!" the soldiers plotted. "Just give up for once!" Link begged as he rushed past more soldiers patrolling the gardens. "That's him! Seize him!" the soldiers ordered. Link reached Zelda's Garden where he first met her.
"Not here." Link concluded. "There he is!" Link wasn't going to stop here. He jumped through a nearby window into the Castle. He passed a portrait of some creatures, a princess he didn't recognize, and two moustached men, and continued on to the next room. "I'm in the Castle now. No going back now. Unless I find her, I'm bound to end up hanging in the dungeons." Link said as he ran through the Castle. He passed suits of armor and portraits of past kings. David, Solomon, James, Norbert. A history of Hyrule's past summed up in a row of framed pictures. "All of this Royalty, but not the one I'm looking for." Link said to himself. "There he is!" More soldiers said as they ran down a corridor. Link saw them and ran in the opposite direction. He climbed a staircase to the second floor. He ran past several doors and entered one to hide in. He closed the door behind him quietly and heard several footsteps stamping past the door. He waited until there was no more sounds left that he finally let out a sigh of relief.
"Link? Is that you?" a voice called out to him. It was soft, and lovely. It rang like a bell chiming ever so beautifully, and Link's ears instantly perked up. He was in Zelda's room or study. He couldn't tell. His eyes were focused on the source of the voice. There she was. Zelda. She was sitting at a desk lit by candlelight. Her caring face resonated with the luminescent glow of the candle. She had a quill in her left hand, and had a piece of parchment in front of her. Underneath the parchment was an envelope similar to the one in Link's pockets. "It IS you!" Zelda exclaimed.
"I got your letter." Link said in a sigh. "You have too many guards." Zelda got up and helped Link to his feet and hugged him.

Chapter 1: The Travels

Link sat was sitting in a chair. He was waiting for Zelda to return after chasing down the guards to tell them that the intruder was Link. He was busy admiring the room around him. It was large, incredibly large. It looked like a huge study. There were several bookshelves, those of which were significantly tall. That just added to the majesty of the room. There was a large window as tall as the bookshelves, it had a nice view of the market. They were more portraits of Royal King lining the interior of the room. They stared at Link with an imposing intensity. Link then turned his attention to the table at which Zelda was sitting. He looked at what she was writing. It was addressed to green-clad warrior again. "That must be for the postman." Link realized as he pulled out his own letter. He then saw the letter. He considered reading it. "Eh, I would've gotten it eventually, anyway, and it is addressed to me..." Link excused. He picked it up and read the calligraphy-esque writing again.

"Link,
I'm writing you to you to ask for a favor. I know you haven't been here for several years, but surely you have heard the rumors regarding these letters. I have been too cryptic in my last letters, as you may already know if you have received any of them, so I apologize. I understand if you don't feel like returning to this kingdom, these letters may be annoying, but I have to ask. Link, would you..."

Suddenly, Zelda walked into the room. "I've told the guards that all is okay now. You don't have to wor...". She stopped mid-sentence as she saw Link holding the letter. She was suddenly red and rushed over to the desk and the letter. "I was just writing in case you hadn't received any of the others." Zelda said as she pushed the envelope and the rest of the failed attempts of letters underneath a pile of books. Link smiled and tried to ease the princess.
"Why wouldn't I want to came back?" Link asked. "Well, you haven't been here for years. I thought you had forgotten about this kingdom. I thought you enjoyed your new life, traveling, having adventures. So much so, you wouldn't come back." Zelda said as her words got slower and slower. "I'll always come back." Link said. Zelda smiled at these words. "So, in your latest letter, you were about to ask me to do something?" Link hinted at with a smirk. "Yes, that's right. Would you join me to a banquet that is being held in four days. It is to celebrate the new alliance we have made with the land of Termina." Zelda said as she courtsied to Link and held out her hand. Link jumped when she said Termina.
"Termina? You mean the land with Clocktown?" Link asked as he took her hand and she stood up.
"Yes, you've been there?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah, a long time ago. It was quite nice. Nice Carnival, too." Link said rememering the near death experience he had with the moon.
"Yes, well, the mayor of Clocktown is coming as representative of Termina over here for a banquet, and then we were asked to join them for an annual.... Carnival. Is that the Carnival you were talking about?" Zelda asked.
"Maybe, I was only in Termina for three days." Link said with a laugh.
"Where else have you been while you were gone?" Zelda asked, her curiosity now intrigued.
"It's several long stories." Link said.
"We have time." Zelda said.
Link then went on to tell Zelda all that has happened to him during his several years he was gone. He told of his repeats through time in Termina.
He then told of his trek through the past and present of Labrynna. "There I met a singer named Nayru. Must be after the Goddess. She was very good, and her guard and the animals and I were enjoying ourselves until the Sorceress Veran showed up as Impa and took Nayru, claiming she was an Oracle. It was true but that was still annoying. Link explained. He noticed that Zelda hung on every word. He went on explaining the battles he had.
"After that I went to Holodrum. There I met a dancer named Din, I suppose after the Goddess as well. She offered for me to dance, I didn't really have a choice when she pulled me into it. She said I danced pretty well." Link said.
"Really?" Zelda asked. "Show me." she nearly commanded. "What, now?" Link said reluctantly. "Yes, I want to see you dance for myself. It helps me understand the story more." Zelda said. "But the dance has nothing to do with the story." Link explained. "I'll dance with you if it helps." Zelda offered.
"No, you don't have to..." Link tried backing out. "Come on!" Zelda said getting up. "Fine." Link agreed as he saw she was set on this. He took her hand and reluctantly rested the other on her hip. "Guess she does still remember me." Link said to himself as he remembered his thoughts at the bar before he got the letter.
Zelda blushed as he put his hand on her hip. She saw he was blushing, too. The two then started going back and forth, the music in their heads. Impa was looking at the moon from the Castle roof. She saw the light in the study flicker. She was guarding Zelda as she had sworn to do. She heard the commotion coming from outside the Castle but figured that since so many guards were alerted, the perpetrator would be caught. The soldiers had already calmed down so she figured that all was well. She then saw the light have shadows pass in front of it. She looked down from the moon and saw Zelda dancing with someone. She immediately jumped down from the rooftop and saw that it was a green-clad man with her. He looked much like that little boy from the garden so long ago. She relaxed and watched the two dance from outside the window.
When the two had finished, they were both panting. "Well, she's right, you're pretty good." Zelda said with a laugh. Link slumped down in his chair and pushed his hat over his face. "Can we move on, now?" Link asked, exhaughsted. "Okay, you were at after you had a dance." Zelda reminded him.
"Right, then suddenly there was a whirlwind, and this man clad in large, dark armor came and took Din." Link continued. He then went on saying that after all of his adventures in these lands, he went to lands unknown hunting down monsters and scraping out money to get to the next day. "You could've come back here." Zelda said. "Well, actually, I didn't know where here was. I only came back because I followed the postman half of the way. I started recognizing landmarks afterwards and came back. Thanks for the letters, I heard you sent out a lot of them." Link said.
"Yes, I wanted you to come back. There was so much going on here, and I felt bad knowing that you weren't part of it. But now you're here." Zelda said.
"Yeah, wait. What time is it?" Link said as he realized that they were up for a majority of the night. "Pretty late, we should get to sleep. Now that you're here, there's a lot I want to show you. This land has changed, and you ought to see it." Zelda said as she went through a door in the study.
"Where are you going?" Link called after her. "If you come, you might find out." Zelda called back. Link then went after her. The study must've been hers, for the door connected directly to her bedroom. There were two beds, and a large dresser. There were more doors which probably lead to a bathroom and other rooms that he probably couldn't comprehend. "I'm filthy though, you sure you want me in one of your beds?" Link called out not knowing where the princess had gone.
"Go ahead, just leave your clothes for the servants to clean." Zelda's voice called out.
"Just take them off!?" Link exclaimed, surprised at the statement.
"Yeah, and take that towel on the bed." the voice said. As she had said, there was a towel on the bed. Link went to a corner and put the towel around himself. It was huge and covered nearly most of his body.
"Now brace yourself." Zelda's voice rang out. Link turned around and was splashed by a wave of hot water. The princess was holding a bucket and started laughing. Link laughed too and went to his bed. The princess then went to her bed.
"Night." Link said. "Thanks for the shower." he joked.
"Thank you for coming back." Zelda said. She then turned and put out the light.

Chapter 2: Shadows in the Forest

Link awoke to the sounds of people rushing. He sat up in the bed in a daze. He looked around, trying to remember where he was. He remembered he was in the Castle with the Princess. He saw at the foot of his bed his tunic and boots. They were freshly washed and still warm from drying. He heard the bustling of people from outside the door. He then wondered where the Princess was.
"She was in that bed, wasn't she?" Link asked himself. "Ahh, you're up! Hurry up and get dressed! There's a lot we have to do today!" Zelda said as she came rushing into the room. "What's happening outside?" Link asked as he threw on his tunic. "The servants are preparing for the feast in four days. We're trying our best to give good first impressions to our guests." Zelda explained as she pulled Link through the halls of the Castle.
"Where are we going?" Link asked as he attempted to remain upright. "We're going to show you Hyrule. You've missed a lot these past seven years. You have to get reacquainted with the kingdom if you're going to be my date for the feast." Zelda said as they continued to rush through the halls. "Date?" Link asked thinking about the title. "Yes." Zelda said as she started blush. "Now, come on. We're starting with Kakariko. We have four days to show you the whole kingdom." Zelda explained.

Link looked upon the village of Kakariko in awe. The small town he knew had grown into an impressive marvel of a city. There were several apartments and shops now established. The Anju's chicken fence had grown into a large farm, and the well was now a beautiful fountain with stones set into the ground in a circular pattern. Impa's house was now a grand museum of Hyrule's history. When the Princess and Link walked into the main square of town, several people called out. "Hey, look it's the Princess and the Hero!". Link wasn't used to the attention. Wherever he went, he was just some kid. But in Hyrule, he was a celebrity, the equivalent of the Royal Family. "Come on, let's go to Impa's house!" Zelda said as she dragged Link up the steps to the house. Inside, Link noticed many artifacts from Hyrule's history. There were several weapons held within glass, and many instruments from each race. Zelda took Link over to the section dedicated to Link's quest. Link was astonished to find all these facts about his life in Kokiri Forest. There were even pictographs showing him going into Castle Town, running in Hyrule Field, walking alongside Zora's River, and others.
"All of this is about me?" Link asked. "Yes, quite an impressive collection isn't it?" Zelda asked Link, smiling. "Yeah, how did they get these things?" Link asked, looking at all of his old belongings. "The Kokiri donated them." Zelda said. "Oh, okay." Link said. "Now we go up to Death Mountain. Someone has been waiting for you." Zelda told Link as she pulled him out of Impa's House.
Link and Zelda walked up Death Mountain and entered Goron City quite easily due to the Magic Plant Link planted seven years earlier. "You know, the Magic Bean salesman has set up several shops across Hyrule now. He said your purchases seven years ago was what allowed him to open up shop. Who knew those plants were that much fun though." Zelda asked Link. "Yeah, they're quite helpful." Link said remembering riding the Magic Plants. As they walked up to the Goron City entrance, three Red Tektites jumped from over the rock overhang. Link quickly drew his sword and attacked. Once the three were gone, a Goron jumped from the same overhang.
"Thanks, seven years since the end of the evil reign and we're still trying to get rid of them. Oh hello Princess, who's this you're with?" the Goron asked. "This is Link." Zelda told the Goron.
"Ohhhhh, Brother! You're back!" the Goron said as he went up to Link. He gave him a big hug, nearly breaking several of Link's bones. "Hi, ow, is Darunia here?" Link said hunched over.
"Sorry, Brother. He went out with Link a little bit ago. He should be back soon. You should go wait outside his room though. Go say hi to the other Gorons, goro." the Goron said. "Thank you. Come on, Link, you're back shouldn't hurt that much." Zelda joked with Link.
Gorons were cheering when the two entered the city. Link was astonished, again, by how much the City had changed. The Gorons had expanded digging deeper into the Earth. They had gone more than twelve floors below the floor seven years ago. They had also expanded outward, adding to the rooms that had already existed. Link and Zelda walked down to Darunia's floor, after walking past the underground stadium the Goron's built. Just as the two reached the door, Darunia walked in.
"BROTHERRRR!!!!" Darunia yelled as he jumped down to their floor.
"Brotherrrr!!!!" Darunia's son, Link, yelled out as he jumped down to the floor as well. The two of them both gave Link another back-breaking hug as they reached him.
"It's good to see ya, Brother." Darunia said to Link. Link was still trying to recover from the hug and tried standing up.
"Yeah, good to see you, too." Link replied. "Well, now that you're here, you have to play Bomb-Ball." Darunia told Link. "Bomb-Ball?" Link asked. "Yes, you saw our stadium, didn't you?" Goron Link asked. "Come, you'll see." Darunia said, smiling a large smile.

Link was on Darunia's team as they prepared to play Bomb-Ball. "Everyone, prepare for our first game celebration since the end of the dark reign, and with our Brother! Everyone welcome, Link!" Darunia announced to the stadium.
The crowd cheered with a great intensity. "Same as always." Link thouht to himself. "Now, we begin!" Darunia yelled to the crowd. The crowd roared again. Zelda watching from the stone stands cheered with them. A bomb flower nearby was plucked from the ground and tossed into the air. The two Gorons closest to the bomb flower fought with each other until one tackled the other and took the bomb flower. He rolled across the stadium floor with the bomb flower balanced on top toward one end of the stadium. At either end of the stadium were Dodongo skeletons with mouths held open. Just as the Goron with the bomb flower started to near the skeleton, another Goron hit a jump on the side of the stadium and landed on top of the Goron. He took the bomb flower and started rolling to the other side of the stadium. Link was nearly flattened as all the Gorons rolled chasing after the one with the with the bomb flower. Link pulled the Goron Mask from his adventures in Termina and put it on. He instantly transformed into a Goron. Zelda was amazed by his transformation. She heard about it from his stories the night previous, but she never realized how astonishing it was.
Link was rolling right next to the one with the bomb flower now. He then turned and knocked the other Goron out of the way, knocking the bomb flower into the air at the same time. He instantly pulled a one-eighty and the bomb flower landed on him as he rolled toward the skeleton on the other side of the stadium. He pulled ahead of the others and hit a jump in the stadium he flew up into the air and uncurled himself, catching the bomb flower in the air. He then tossed the bomb into the Dodongo skeleton's mouth and the bomb flower exploded in the skeleton. The crowd erupted in more applause. "Good job, Brother!" Darunia exclaimed. "Now let's go, next round."
The Gorons played for several hours until sunset, and Link had the bomb flower blow up in his face on several occasions. Each time, the crowd "Ooohed". At the end, both Dodongo skeletons were in pieces, and the Goron players were exhaughsted. Link took of his mask and reverted back to his Hylian self. Link's team won by three explosions. "Good job, Link. I think it's time we went back to the Castle." Zelda said as she helped Link up to his feet. He was bruised and soot-covered now, and aching all over his back. "Good to see you're back, Brother! Hope to see you soon!" Darunia called out as he hoisted three other Gorons onto his back as they were too exhaughsted to move. "I'll remember to bring red potions next time." Link joked as he hobbled out of the city with Zelda.
"You played well." Zelda told Link.
"I also blew up the most." Link said. "Your transformation was very unexpected. Termina is amazing, isn't it?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah, it's very similar to Hyrule." Link explained. "Any more transformations?" Zelda asked. "Only a few." Link said as he pulled out all of his transformation masks. "There's the Deku Scrub, the Goron, the Zora, and the... well, I don't really know what form this is." Link said as he pulled out the Fierce Deity's Mask. "Looks very, intense." Zelda said as she looked at the mask.
"That's saying the least, it was able to defeat Majora's Mask's incarnations with a swing of its sword,...it's not Hylian, I can say that.
"It's getting late, now. We have to hurry before the gate closes." Zelda said as they entered Kakariko. "Watch out for pickpockets." a voice said as the two hurried past the figure. The person was shrouded and had a short appearance. "Thanks." Zelda called back to the shrouded figure. Link turned around, and saw that there was no-one there. He didn't have time to focus on it though as Zelda was dragging him at an ever-increasing pace.
The shadow jumped from rooftop to rooftop as it watched the pair run out of Kakariko and toward Castle Town. The shadow itself, however, started heading for the Graveyard. It jumped over the tombstones and the entrance to the Shadow Temple to the tress beyond. It landed silently and continued pressing onward into the thick dense of trees. It suddenly stopped in a clearing and bowed its head.
"Its true, the hero has returned." the voice said to the trees surrounding it. "Its just as we feared. Those two are the only ones that can interrupt our plans." a disembodied voice replied.
"We need more time, though." another voice called out. "We should call upon those thieves." the first diesmbodied voice suggested.
"Yes, those thieves will do nicely. Get them to enter the forest in two days and plant this poison in the Sacred Wood." a third voice said as a vial of purple liquid was tossed down in front of the hooded figure. "That should be nice enough to stall them while we finish our plans." the voice said again.
"And remember Syv, this mission relies solely upon your performance." the voices said in unison. "Yes elders." the figure said as he retreated back through the trees back into town.

Link and Zelda reached the Castle at nine seventeen. They got to Zelda's chambers several minutes afterwards.
"You'd tell me if you'd hit me with another bucket shower, right?" Link asked as Zelda went into the bathroom again. He edged himself towards the door to the hallway, ready to jump out at the slighest movement from Zelda's direction.
"No, this time you're taking a real shower." Zelda said from inside the bathroom. Link relaxed and walked cautiously into the room. He sat upon his bed and waited for the Princess to re-enter the room. When she got out, she was in her light blue nightgown.
"Your turn." she said as she showed him the door. He walked inside and looked at the quaint size of Zelda's bathroom. It had a sink with a mirror, a bathtub with several soaps and lotions lined upon the side of the tub, and a shower curtain running around the tub.
"Take as long as you need, get that blood of your chin." Zelda joked from the other room. Link turned on the water and went in. He soaked for about ten minutes, then washed. It was about ten minutes afterwards that he got out, and went to the bed.
"Night, Zelda." Link said as he got in the bed. "Night bomb-baller." Zelda said laughing in her bed as she turned out the light. Neither of them noticed the shadow watching them from the Castle roof in the moonlight or the fact that it jumped off and started heading for Gerudo Valley.

Chapter 3: The Disease

Link awoke to more people running around again. This time Zelda woke up with him. He sat up in the bed feeling incredibly sore. His back ached with the bruises accumulated from the Bomb-Ball yesterday.
"How you feel?" Zelda asked, looking at Link's pained expression as he tried getting out of his bed.
"Like those Dodongos we were throwing bombs at landed directly on my back." Link replied as he attempted to put on his tunic. Zelda finished getting ready by the time Link had put on the rest of clothes and one boot. As he pulled on the other boot, he felt a sharp pain run through his spine. He gasped out in pain and nearly fell to the floor.
"Looks like you need a potion, or a fairy." Zelda said as she tugged Link's arm over her shoulder.
The two went down to the Castle's first floor and entered the dining room. The servants were rushing in every direction, carrying food and running into different rooms. Many had panicked looks and looked severely overworked. Zelda then set Link down in a large chair and went into the kitched to look for the chef. Link watched as several servants went by carrying what appeared to be a large roasted peahat from the field. He then turned his wincing gaze to outside the window. He saw Castle Town and the field beyond. Both shimmered in the morning sunlight. Link smiled at the sight.
"To think this kingdom would have been a world of shadow if Zelda and I didn't stop Ganondorf." Link thought to himself. He continued to look outside the window when his attention turned to mountain overlooking the path to Castle Town. He then saw a shadow jump over and into Castle Town. Link jumped up and was forced to sit back down as a sharp pain ran through his spine again. Zelda walked in as Link shrank back down into his chair.
"Link, drink this." Zelda said as she gave him the bottle of red potion. Link drank the whole thing in one gulp and felt incredibly better. He then coughed out as the pain started to subside in his back.
"Why did you try to get up?" Zelda asked Link as he started to get back up.
"I saw a shadow. It jumped over that cliff, started heading for town." Link choked out through his coughing fits.
"It was probably a guay, Link. There isn't anything to worry about. Feeling better?" Zelda asked. Link nodded
"Good, now we head to Zora's Domain, and Kokiri Forest today." Zelda said, excited. Link was dragged along by the hand by the Princess. His mind was still focused on that shadow that he saw.
"She's right, it was probably a guay. Do guays have jumping flight patterns, though?" Link thought to himself as he went out onto the path to Castle Town. He continued to look at the roofs as they went pass the buildings in Castle Town and out the gate. He allowed the thought to slip his mind as he went out into Hyrule Field with the Princess.
"Come on, Link. Keep up." Zelda laughed out as she ran into Hyrule Field. Link then picked up his pace and passed the laughing Princess as they make their way to the entrance to Zora's River.

The shrouded figure made his way to the Gerudo Valley. He knew the Gerudos wouldn't allow a hooded figure to approach their fortress at night, so he waited until morning.
"Halt, who is there!" a female guard yelled out as she noticed a hooded figure walking towards the fortress. Three more guards ran up beside the first one, their weapons held at the ready.
"Identify yourself!" the same guard yelled out. The others tensed their arms holding their weapons steady.
"I wish to speak with the leader of the fortress." the hooded figure yelled back. He had a calm voice.
"No one meets with the leader upon request, you speak with her if she wills it!" the guard yelled out again.
"Well, I will it." the hooded figure said. He then ran straight at the guards and held out his sleeved arms. He took out two of the guards as he dodged past their weapons.
"Intruder! Intruder!" the remaining two guards yelled out as they ran after the hooded figure. The figure jumped up to a window of the fortress and went in. He ducked behind a crate he found the moment his feet hit the floor. When the coast was clear, he made his way through a hallway. He found himself in a large room with a prison cell set off to the side. Suddenly, a female warrior armed with two scimitars jumped down from the ceiling. She blocked the stairs leading to the upper levels. Aggravated, the hooded figure stopped. When the warrior lunged at the hooded figure, he backflipped and in one swift motion, tripped the warrior. As she fell, the figure swung around and kicked her with the heel of the same foot directly in her stomach. The warrior crashed down to the floor with a thud as her swords went sliding into two separate directions.
"Hey, I heard something from up there!" a voice called from the hallway below. The hooded figure heard them and ran up the now unguarded stairs. Several footsteps could be heard coming from the hallway the figure was headed, so he jumped out of the window, hanging on to the ledge with his fingers. Once he heard the guards run by he climbed back in and proceeded heading up. He finally reached a large, wooden door and went in. There he saw a Gerudo sitting in a large couch, with a finely crafted table in front of her. She was sipping from a specially crafted glass designed for her fingers. She stopped drinking as she saw the figure enter her room.
"So you're the one causing all the commotion within my fortress." the leader said in an imperialistic voice.
"Yes." the hooded figure said showing no more emotion in his voice than he had before.
"You must be either pretty bold or pretty stupid to come running in here. Did you get lost? The bathroom's on the right." the leader said in a mocking tone.
"My leaders sent me to give you and your followers an assignment." the hooded figure said, again lacking emotion or tone.
"Who do you and your leaders think you are?! We are the Gerudo! The proud thieves of the desert! We do anything we please! We don't need to be told what to do! That is, unless it's the right price." the leader with a wry smile growing across her face.
"800 rupees." the figure said holding out a wallet and shaking it to make the rupees in it clink and clang.
"Let me see it." the leader said. The figure tossed the wallet right over to the leader.
"You handle your money loosely. How do you know I won't just take it? I am a thief after all." the Gerudo leader said, weighing the wallet in her hand.
"I could just take it back if need be. So do we have a deal?" the figure replied.
"Fine. What's the job?" the leader asked.
"This..." the figure said as he reached under robe and pulled out the the purple vial.

Link and Zelda reached Zora's Domain at 9 A.M. due to Link's Magic Plant again.
"I never get tired of riding those." Zelda said as the two walked up to the waterfall marking the entrance to Zora's Domain.
"I like the part where you jump off." Link said with a big smirk on his face.
Zelda pushed him as he pulled out the Ocarina of Time and played Zelda's Lullaby. The waterfall started to part and showed the entrance to the domain.
"I still get sleepy from those notes." Zelda said, her eyelids starting to close.
"Well, we're going to get a wake-up call." Link said as he pushed Zelda under the remnants of the waterfall and jumping through himself.
"Don't push!" Zelda yelled as Link came through the waterfall. He had another big grin on his face as he squeezed the water out from his hat.
"You were getting sleepy, cold water usually gets people right up." Link said, still smiling. Zelda pushed him again and he fell over the edge and landed right in the water. He then noticed that the water level of Zora's Domain had become significantly deeper. There were coral beds lining the pool, giving the domain the illusion of being fire submerged underwater. He floated up to the top and spit out water from his mouth.
"I thought you said no pushing?" Link called up as he swam to the ladder leading back up.
"I had to get you back!" Zelda said laughing as Link hat flopped over his face. Ruto came running down as she heard Link and Zelda's voices.
"I was wondering when you two would be coming!" Ruto said as she ran down the curvature of the domain. "There's much for you two to see!"
Ruto then showed Link and Zelda the changes done to Zora's Domain. The Zoras had prepared a garment for Zelda made of the same material as Link's Zora Tunic sa she could breathe underwater as well.
"You can go ahead and use the rooms we keep aside for travelers to change." Ruto said to Zelda. Zelda took her garment and went into the room as suggested.
"It's been a long time, Link." Ruto said as Link sat down to wait for Zelda. He had his tunic on already because they were set out by the servants this morning.
"Yeah. Real long." Link said as Ruto sat down next to him. He started to feel uncomfortable without Zelda being there. He suddenly remembered what Ruto had said to him those seven years ago.
"You know, the Zora's Sapphire was cut from the same stone as some other Zora artifacts." Ruto said smiling.
"Really? I didn't know that." Link said continuing the conversation.
"Yes. My mother told me that long ago as well. She also gave me a crown embedded with the jewel." Ruto continued.
"Didn't know that either." Link said, still continuing the conversation.
"I proposed to a Zora." Ruto blurted out. She was smiling.
"Real-what!?" Link said, shocked by the sudden statement.
"Yes, a very nice Zora. His name is Maivu. I'm afraid we're just going to have to break off our previous engagement." Ruto said, now looking at the newly garbed Zelda.
"Ready?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah." said Link, still in awe about the fact that Ruto would stop chasing after him.
"Let's go then!" Ruto said, diving into the pool. Link and Zelda dove after her. Link turned in midair to see Zelda. He remembered her this age seven years ago when he defeated Ganon and returned the timeline to normal, but she was Sheik most of the time and he never had the chance to get a real good look at her. She really looked like a princess. He noticed her hair and her cheeks and the way the light reflected of them. It was like the water they were jumping into. Zelda then turned to meet his gaze as they were in the air. She smiled. He was about to smile back when they suddenly hit the water.
"Come on! This way!" Ruto yelled out under the water. She started swimming to the bottom of the pool and went into a tunnel underground. Link and Zelda followed her. There were many paths in the tunnel branching off into separate directions.
"That one leads to the armory, that one to the dining hall, that one to the fish grounds, the bedrooms..." Ruto pointed out as they passed each hallway.
"We even have a route to Gerudo Valley's waterways now." Ruto exclaimed.
"But we're heading to Lake Hylia." Ruto said, swimming off. Almost in an instant they were at Lake Hylia. There were several more buildings since the last time Link was here. The lake size has expanded and now had a lakeside resort. The fishing spot had grown into a profitable franchise, and the laboratory now had several stations branching out to test fish and other marine creatures.
Ruto showed them all of the spots where rare fish were said to gather. The fish they saw formed rainbows and many different combinations of colors. There were exceptionally large fish, and large freshwater eels in the lake now.
"Without the evil affecting the lake, many new species were able to thrive here." Ruto explained.
The three then make their way back to the Domain via the waterway.
"Must you leave? There is still much to see!" Ruto asked as Link and Zelda went to their rooms to change.
"Sorry, we have to go to Kokiri Forest now." Zelda said from her room.
"Oh, okay, see you around, you two." Ruto said as she went back to the throne room.
"Ready for the forest now?" Zelda asked Link.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Link replied.
The two then dove into the waterway outside the waterfall that led to the Lost Woods.

The two resurfaced at the Lost Woods. Once they got back on to the solid ground, their clothes immediately dried. Accepting the sudden change, the two proceeded into the forest. Zelda followed Link, as he remembered the route back to Kokiri Forest.
"The trees are taller than I remember..." Link said drifting off looking at the trees surrounding him with a forlorn expression on his face.
"A lot changes in seven years, but it's all still here." Zelda told Link in an attempt to console him.
The two entered Kokiri Forest and jumped down the ledges into village. The Kokiri were going about their daily business as the two entered the town.
"Hello, Princess." Several of the Kokiri said as they passed.
"Hello, Princess and Link!" Saria said as she saw the two coming.
"Hello, Saria. We came to show Link the Forest now." Zelda explained to Saria.
"Yes, of course! Come on, there's a lot to see now!" Saria said, dragging the two behind her. Saria showed them the Great Deku Tree meadow first. There, the Deku Tree Sprout was significantly taller than the one that grew during the Dark Reign.
"Ah, hello Princess, Link. It's good to see you two. It's been quite a while." the Sprout said.
"Hello, O Great Deku Tree. You're much bigger than the other one." Zelda said to the large Sprout.
"Thanks to you two and the disappearance of Ganondorf from this realm, I was able to grow at an earlier time so that's why I'm bigger now." the Sprout explained. "Go explore the rest of the forest now, there's much more to see than just this immobile hedge." the Sprout said as he hurried them along. "Saria, show them the sights of this new forest!" the Sprout exclaimed.
"Yes, O Great Deku Tree!" Saria said as she pulled the two along.
Link's house had been designated a landmark and had a fence around it. The Forest itself though had expanded. The training area had become a large field. There were forest animals gathering in the field and the Kokiri's houses had become bigger.
"After the Sprout grew, we were able to create more things." Saria explained. "The limbs we gathered from the Great Deku Tree make very effective building materials."
"Here is where we play our games now, in the training ground." Saria said as Mido lost control of a forest boar and was flung off.
"Hi Saria, Princess, and.... Link! It's good to see you're back!" Mido said as he got up and rushed over. "Sorry about being mean before. Who knew you'd end up saving all of Hyrule!" Mido continued.
"Trying to get that boar, still?" Saria asked, looking at all the various cuts Mido had accumulated.
"It just won't stop attacking other animals." Mido explained.
"Oh dear, what's wrong?" Zelda asked.
"We don't know, it just attacks anything that gets near it." Saria explained.
Link watched the boar patrolling a certain area and jumped inside the pen.
"Link, where are you going?" Zelda called out after him.
"Don't worry, Princess, he was always good at stuff like this." Saria assured Zelda. "Just watch."
Link pulled out several cooked Deku Nuts from his pocket and shook them in his hand. The boar snarled, but didn't attack. Link drew closer and closer, to the boar, all the while shaking the nuts in his hand. As eh got within distance to the boar, he gave it the nuts in his hand. The boar started eating and Link was able to pat it on the head. It then calmed down and went back to a bush. Link followed it and saw several baby boars. He waved the others over, and they all saw the little boars.
"So that's what its protecting? Its children?" Mido asked in astonishment.
"Guess so, should've tried that first, huh Mido?" Saria joked.
"It's starting to get dark now, isn't it?" Zelda said aloud.
"Yeah we better go." Link said. "Bye everyone."
"See ya, Link." Saria said.
"Come back soon." Mido said waving.
The two then left the forest. They left slightly earlier than usual, but figured that the Castle would be harder to navigate due to the day of the feast drawing near. They made it into the Castle and went immediately to bed.

"Do you understand the plan?" the hooded figure asked.
"What do you think I am, stupid?" the leader said.
"It's easy, get into the forest, pour this on the ground, get out." the leader rehearsed.
"Remember don't get caught." The hooded figure said and disappeared into the shadows.
"Easy money." the Gerudo leader laughed. The laughter echoed out into the dark and faded into the night

Chapter 4: Wall of the Forest

The guards were at unease. There was a decrease in the number of robberies occuring today. It was unusual since there was a steady number of robberies only yesterday. One such die-hard soldier was incredibly at unease, more then the others. The third highest in command, one of the best soldiers within Hyrule, incredibly dedicated, a nationalist, a perfect soldier. His dream to be accepted into the line of Hylian Knights. Gadlor Stelver was waiting in the guardhouse. He was pacing around in the Captain's Room. The Captain had an uninterested look on his face.
"Sir, its not right. Those thieves are up to something. We should send a reconnaisance team over there to check it out." Gadlor planned as he continued to pace.
"Gadlor, we CAN'T." the Captain said to his third-in-command. "We need all the soldiers we have to make sure the feast goes off without a hitch. Just because those thieves aren't robbing as much doesn't mean that they're up to some master plan. There are a thousand reasons they aren't stealing. Maybe they're all on vacation, maybe our forces are getting better, maybe they just started SUCKING all of a sudden. It's not our problem. Get some rest instead." the Captain told his soldier. The Captain was just about to shoo Gadlor out of his office when suddenly the second-in-command came running in.
"Well, what's the news, Faddin?" the Captain asked the out-of-breath lieutenant.
"Sir, we just got word from the scouts. The mayor of Clocktown has just entered our realm, they should be here tomorrow morning after they exit the forest." Faddin choked out through his exasperated gasps for air.
"Good, then all that's left is the feast." the Captain exclaimed.
"But Sir..." Gadlor called out. "I don't want to hear it, Gadlor!" the Captain yelled, standing up. "Those thieves aren't doing anything! Now get back to your post! Both of you! I need to finish my work." the Captain yelled sitting back down.
"Yes, Sir!" the two soldiers said as they saluted and walked out the room.
"Those theories of yours again?" Faddin Geltin asked Gadlor.
"They aren't theories! Something is going on!" Gadlor said in his defense. "We should be doing something!"
"Nothing is going to happen. Gadlor, you're a good soldier, but you shouldn't be bugging Captain with your the... plans." Faddin told Gadlor.
"Ah, you're right." Gadlor said defeated
"Let's go to the Castle's kitchen, get something to eat." Faddin said to cheer up his friend.
The two of the soldiers walked in and found cheese and hearts. There was also several bottles of Lon Lon Milk and the two took some.
"We have to get ready for the feast." Faddin said, taking a bite of cheese.
"Yeah, I'm glad we get to be in the dining hall during all of it. It's going to be fascinating being one of the first people to see the representative from Termina." Galdor said, reaching for his bottle of milk. He looked blankly out the window toward the steadily rising sun. He then turned to look into the hallway as he did he saw the Princess running down the hall. She was dragging some kid dressed in green with her.
"Who's that the Princess with?" Faddin asked following Galdor's gaze.
"Don't know. Looks familiar though. When did he get here?" Galdor asked, still staring after the two running down the hall.
"I'd say about two days ago. That's when the princess started going out for those all-day trips. Wait, is that a sword that kid's packing?" Faddin asked, looking at the Princess's guest's back.
"Well, if it is, as long as he doesn't try doing anything with it, I'm fine. But if he does, he's going to have to deal with us." Galdor said triumphantly.
"Yeah, just like that last guy who messed with us. Apparently Zelda dealt with that guy herself." Faddin said, taking a drink of milk himself.
"Wasn't that break in two days ago?" Galdor asked, taking a bite out of a heart.
"You don't think that guy is the break-in guy, do you?" Faddin said, wondering.
"I wouldn't be surprised." Galdor said "But we can't do anything if the Princess herself would vouch for him."
"Yeah, better off just getting back to work." Faddin said as he got up with his plate.
"Let's go." Galdor agreed. "But if the Gerudo do something, I get to say I was right." Galdor challenged.
"Fine, but if nothing happens, then I get to say I'm right." Faddin said as he ran back to his post. Galdor just shrugged and went back to his post.

Zelda planned on bringing Link to Lon Lon Ranch today. Link had barely woken up when he was assaulted by his clothes when Zelda tossed them at him.
"I'm pretty sure my boot hit my face." Link said as he felt a bump forming on his head.
"Come on, Link. You faced the King of Evil and you complain about a boot?" Zelda joked as she rubbed the bump on the head.
"Where are we going today?" Link asked finally getting over his injury.
"Lon Lon. I'm pretty sure Epona wouldn't mind seeing her old home again." Zelda said as she dragged Link through the halls of the Castle again.
"What time is it?" Link asked, allowing himself to be dragged again.
"Eleven twenty-five." Zelda said as the two ran past several maids working on the guest rooms. "We slept in pretty late today."
As the two passed the kitchen and dining room, Link's eyes caught a glint in the sunlight. He turned to see two soldiers in the dining hall. They were both staring at him.
"You don't think that they were some of the soldiers chasing me before, do you?" Link asked Zelda as they turned a corner.
"Maybe, you did stir up a lot of trouble. I had to tell them I got you in order to get them to stop chasing you." Zelda said with a smile.
"Thanks, you should have sent a pass with that letter of yours, though." Link said, remembering the chase throughout the Castle grounds.
"I thought you would come during the day, seeing as the Castle gates close at night." Zelda said apologetically.
The two got out of the Castle and went into town.
"Let's take Epona!" Zelda said to Link.
"You're okay with riding on the back?" Link asked, looking at the saddle upon Epona.
"Yeah, it'll be faster than running." Zelda said.
"Okay, get ready." Link said leading Epona out of the Castle gates onto the field. He got up onto Epona and pulled Zelda on with him.
"Hold on." Link said as he led Epona on. Zelda held on to is waist and buried her face into the back of his shoulder as he rode on. They reached Lon Lon incredibly faster than if they ran as Zelda had said. It was only noon when they reached the inside of the ranch. Malon, Talon, and Ingo were busy working with the animals as the two rode in. Link got off and helped Zelda off Epona and the two walked to the inner area of the ranch. Ingo was the first to notice that the two had walked in.
"Oh, Princess! How nice of you to honor our ranch with your prescence. I hope that we can do anything to make your visit here more pleasurable." Ingo said as he got down to the ground and nearly kissed the ground before her.
"Ingo, what are you doi... oh Princess! How nice to see you here. Can we help you today?" Malon said as she walked over to the group.
"Well, we're here to show Link how Hyrule has changed during his absence. We're also here to bring Epona back home for today." Zelda said as she let Epona walk over to Malon and nudge her with her head.
"Epona! Didn't you go off with... oh hi there Fairy Boy!" Malon said finally noticing Link. "You sure got a lot taller than last time I saw you."
"Probably the milk I get from here." Link said smiling, letting Epona run off to the ring.
"Aw, that's sweet. Well let me tell dad that we have guests and I'll be right back with you. Ingo, go get some cheese and milk from the back for our guests." Malon said looking for Talon
"Yes, Malon." Ingo said as he went off. "Follow me please, Princess."
Talon had fallen asleep in some hay and was snoring off when Malon found him.
"Ugh. Dad! WAKE UP!!!" Malon yelled. The scream she made had no effect upon Talon though. She went back to the group after several attempts, exhaughsted.
"Sorry, folks. He won't get up. I have no idea how you woke him up before Fairy Boy. I just can't ever get him up." Malon said, defeated.
"You can wake him up?" Zelda asked Link. "He fell asleep before and caused a traffic jam in the city. He woke up after it started raining five hours later."
"I'll go get him up." Link said walking to the cucco pen. He chose a cucco from the pen and walked over to Talon. He plucked a feather from its back and cawed loudly in front of Talon. Talon woke up immediately.
"That's how you did it..." Malon said watching intensely.
"What in tarnation!? Who woke me up!?" Talon said as he got up from his bed of hay.
"You fell asleep again dad! We have guests. They woke you up." Malon said in a motherly tone.
"Guests? Oh, hello Princess! Why are you here?" Talon asked after he noticed Zelda standing there.
"Could we ask for a tour of the ranch?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah, of course! Anything for you, Princess!" Talon said, immediately jumping up and showing everyone the improvements the ranch had made. They had expanded the wall of the ranch and had a considerable amount of livestock now. They number of cows and horses had multiplied by an impressive number and were scattered all over the ranch. After the tour of each of the animal grounds, Link demonstrated his horse riding ability with Epona. He hopped the fences of the ring. He then jumped over the wall of the ranch to Hyrule Field and rode back in. After the show, Malon challenged Link to a race around the ring.
"Come on, it'll be fun." Malon said.
"Go on, Link. You can do it." Zelda encouraged.
The two ran neck and neck until a cucco ran in front of Link and forced him to swerve out of the way. Malon pulled past the finish line.
"I won." Malon said triumphantly.
"No you didn't!" Link said, flustered.
"Yes I did!" Malon continued.
"There was a cucco!" Link said back.
"I missed it, you could have too." Malon said smugly.
"It didn't go in front of you!" Link said, now accepting that he wasn't going to win this fight.
"Now, now kids. Stop arguing and have something to eat." Talon said as he brought out food for everyone.
"You know, our ranch supplied most of the fodd for that feast that you're going to have." Talon said proudly.
"Oh, what time is it?" Zelda asked realizing the feast was tomorrow.
"Seven o' clock. Why?" Malon said.
"Oh good." Zelda said, relaxing. "We don't want to sleep in the day of the feast."
"Don't worry, you'll get back to the Castle soon. Just have a nice hot meal before you go." Talon said with a huge grin on his face.
Everyone ate and finished by eight thirty.
"Bye everyone." the two said as they both got on Epona.
"Bye, tell your guests about the ranch!" Talon said. Malon gave him a look and continued to wave.
The two rode off towards Hyrule Castle and went in. The Castle Gates started closing immediately afterwards.

The cloaked figure watched the two ride in to the Castle grounds from a hilltop. He rushed off towards Kakariko and went into the forest behind the graveyard.
"The two are still with each other, elders." the figure said.
"You gave the poison to the Gerudo?" a voice asked.
"Yes, they should be heading out soon." the figure replied.
"Good, you can't get the man, but you can get the woman." another voice said.
"Remember, the feast." a third voice said.
"Yes elders." the figure said.
"You are doing good Syv. Keep it up. We are doing this for our tribe." the three voices said consecutively.
"Yes elders." the figure said and then disappeared.

The Gerudo were ready to ride out. They lowered the bridge that spans the gap to the the side of Hyrule Field and rode across. Only five Gerudo were going out. Only five were needed, the leader said.
The leader was riding the first horse, flanked by her closest soldiers, then two peons. Their horses were practically silent as they rode to the entrance of Kokiri Forest. They dismounted their horses and snuck into the forest. They walked past the homes of the Kokiri and started to head into the Lost Woods.
"Hurry, we are running out of time. It is almost dawn. Move." the leader said as silently as she could.

Mido was busy working with the boar that Link had made tame two days ago. The boar had become increasingly friendly over the last two days and let Mido sit with her babies. Suddenly, though, the boar stood up. It sniffed around and started trudging out towards the Lost Woods.
"Hey, wait. You're going to wake everybody up." Mido said silently as he chased after the boar. He suddenly heard a thud followed by a cry of pain.

Te Gerudos were about to make it into the Lost Woods when suddenly, a sound came up behind them. It sounded like trudging, and a peon was suddenly struck by a boar. She was immediately knocked out. Suddenly, a Kokiri came out after the boar.
"Hey, who are you?" the Kokiri asked.
The leader suddenly jumped out behind the Kokiri, and held a cloth to his face. The Kokiri became limp, and the leader put his body on the ground.
The boar started to run at them again and the remaining Gerudo peon ran behind it and pushed a point next to the jaw. The boar fell down to the ground and the peon ran back to the others.
"Keep moving!" the leader said as she ran into the Lost Woods. The others followed her into the forest.
Inside the forest, the Gerudo could hear many noises.
"Listen for the sound of water. Remember what the cloaked man said!" the leader yelled out. Once one of them heard water, they ran toward it and followed it until they reached a pool.
"Now listen for howls. The Wolfos should be howling right about now." leader yelled out again. Once someone heard the howls, they ran toward it and followed it until the second-in-command heard something.
"Wait, what's that sound?" she said, stopping.
"What? What is it?" the leader asked.
"Sounds like wheels." the she said.
"They're on to us! Jump into the trees!" the leader said.
The Gerudo jumped up into the trees and waited. A wagon then came through a log in the forest. The Gerudo jumped on top of the wagon and took out the driver with a blow to the neck. The people inside heard the sounds and went out.
"Seymour, are you alright?" a man asked "Wait, you're not Seymour!"
The Gerudo went into the wagon and knocked out three people. They put the driver in with the three and the leader ordered the peons to drive out into the Field.
"Wait for us out there. We'll come back out when we're done!" leader said.
She suddenly went into the Forest and continued into the forest. She reached the Sacred Forest Meadow and went up to in front of the Forest Temple. Suddenly, Deku Scrubs dropped down in front of the three remaining Gerudo. The leader ordered the others to deal with them. The two jumped up and drew their scimitars in the air. The leader then went up to the tree with the branch overhanging the entrance to the Forest Temple.
"This must be the tree." the leader said and poured out the purple liquid. It soaked into the ground and disappeared from sight. A wind suddenly blew through the meadow.
"Come on! We're done here!" the leader yelled, running down the stairs. The other two followed her and they ran out ot the woods. They went out of the Kokiri Forest and met up with the other two. They then rode back into Gerudo Valley as the sun started to rise. Once the sun hit the tree in the Forest Meadow, it started to turn purple, and the grass around it turned purple and slowly spread out. Suddenly, purple vines sprouted from among the grass...
