Story of a new game

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I did not find any other suitable place to post this.
This is no fan-fiction, but an overlook of the story of my fake Zelda game. Or, story and story, as I've placed some more in-detail game things here too. And yes, the plotline is extremely unoriginal. Just remember that it's not the final and will probably be revised a lot.

Art related to the fan game can be found here.

- Beginning -

One morning, a Korok wanders into the small village of Hadon, located in the middle of the Faron Woods. He's looking for a boy dressed in green (oh my god). He finds Link still sleeping in his house. The Korok wakes him up, apologises for being so rude, and presents himself as Mako, a citizen of the Korok Forest. Link obviously wonders what brought the Korok here. Mako explains that the Great Deku Tree (who else?) wants a boy dressed in green to come with a sword tribute to him - otherwise, the wise tree will strike Hadon with overgrowth. Link agrees to come, but doesn't have a sword. The Korok begs him to find one, and tells Link that he'll be waiting in the north-east part of Faron Woods, close to Hadon Village.

It's now that you can begin playing as Link. His first task is of course to find a sword. If you talk to a certain girl in the village, she will inform Link that the smith of Hadon Copse has forged a new sword. Hadon Copse is a small part of the forest area, and the place where Hadon villagers go to cut down trees for wood. It lies beyond the Hadon Farm, where Link encounters nothing but cows and Cuccos. When Link arrives at the smithy, the smith will immediately give Link the sword after the boy tells him about the Deku Tree's threat.

After Link's got the sword (he can't use it), it's just to follow Mako through a road in the Faron Woods to arrive at the Korok Forest.

- Korok Forest -

The Korok Forest isn't really a forest - it's actually the roots of the Deku Tree. It is a messy place, with many small Korok houses (tree mushrooms attached to the roots), and somewhat hilly. There's a shop here, where you can find an asortment of plant-related items. The biggest root is located in the centre of the town, and is the road to the Deku Tree's face. At the end of the road, there is a platform carved out of the wood. The Deku Tree's giant face is visible above.

When Link's made his way to this place, the Deku Tree won't speak, but two Octoroks will drop down from the branches. Mako will call for help, but no one hears. The Korok says that Link will have to use the sword. After Link has slayed the monsters - an easy job - the Deku Tree will claim that this was a test of Link's courage. Yes, he's that random. Now, the Deku Tree will start to speak - beware of a text block. The wise old tree will inform Link about some supposed evil that casts a shadow on Hyrule, and that he sensed that the hero "destined" to repel it lived in the village of Hadon. Yeah. He says that he wanted to be sure, so he called for the hero by using the Korok, Mako.

Now, he claims that he must be really sure that Link is able to "save the world". Therefore, Link must collect the Three Emblems of X Thing (haven't decided yet), and then the Deku Tree will allow Link to draw the Master Sword out of its pedestal.
Link, of course agrees. (This is one of the things lacking in the current story. I don't have any sensible reason for why Link goes out on his grand adventure.)

Finally, the Deku Tree reports that the Sage of Courage will be found in the most remote part of the Korok Forest. Naturally, he won't say where this place lies, or at least what it's called. It's up to Link to collect information from elder Koroks in order to figure out the location.

This remote part of the Korok Forest turns out to be the Lost Kokiri Maze, the same place where Link found his first sword in Ocarina of Time. This time, however, it's much bigger, and more dangerous. There are spiny hedges all over the place, forming labyrinths and standing in the way for Link's progress. After Link has navigated through this place, he'll fight the boss, Odos (check my art thread for picture), using his newly achieved Kokiri Slingshot, and find the Sage of Courage, a Kokiri girl (the only Kokiri in the game). I have no name for her yet. She will reward Link with the Emblem of Courage, and send Link back to the Korok Forest.

Now, it's time for Link to go back to the Deku Tree, who will say some wise stuff and give Link the Deku Boomerang along the way. After that, it's time for Link's adventure to really start - it's time for Hyrule Field.

---

Okay, that's the start of the story. If anyone actually is interested, I will write down more.
