~*~ The Onigami ~*~
Onigami -- n; the original name for Oni Link, or the "Fierce Deity" Hello, and welcome to the Onigami. I am new to the "Fiction" forum, but I think I'll kick it off well. I haven't got much to say...so yeah... how are you? I've recently returned to Hyrule to finish what I've started. Here's a small story I want you to read:

Re: ~*~ The Onigami ~*~
Dark Memories It has been seven, no eight years since I saw you. I was just a little kid back then. I remember your short golden hair dancing with the passing light breeze. My blonde hair is just like yours. The sun's radiance reflecting off my elegant hair, day after day. Every day I wonder what life would be like with you. Also, I wonder what life would be like if I didn't do what I did back there. I'm guessing you've heard what happened. That's when Malon entered the barn where I was writing. "Hey, Zack! Whatcha doin'?" she asked, peering over me. I was quick to cover it up. "Writing a letter...to my friend," I lied. She couldn't know the truth...not yet. "Uh-huh, anyway, there's a guy outside lookin' for ya," she announced, turning around and leaving. As she walked, the old brown wood creaked. She pulled open the door which also made a loud, annoying creaking noise. I stood up, pocketed my rough pencil and paper, and ventured outside. When I got out, there was a hooded figure. It was a man; he face wasn't visable, nor was any other part of his body. He wore a dark purple cloak slightly pileing on the top of his shoes. Inside of his hood were two devilish red eyes with no pupils. An arm shot out from the garment and grasped my neck. Raising me up into the air, Malon dashed at the man and began swinging the bottom of her wrapped hand on the man. A second arm came out and smashed her away. He tossed throught the air and slammed onto the grassy dirt. He groaned in deep pain. A scarlette vortex-like thing appeared in the sky. It turned inward. The man, still grasping my throat, shot into the air and flew into the odd opening. I blacked out from there. I had a dream...it had a blonde boy in a green tunic. He weilded a blade...he was swiping away with a sword at a tall, large man with a red beard. It seemed so fimiliar. When I awoke, my jet black shorts and matching shirt (which was very heavy) were all ruffled. Showing that, I knew I had been here for some time. I looked around. I was in a cell. The walls were dark green and mossy with jagged points coming out. There was only one light streching on a cord from the ceiling, lightly swinging. I could hear a faint leaking sound as I lyed there on my side. I scrambled up. It looked like a dungeon corridor. It was like a tiny box with steel bars. I srambled up and rushed to the brown barrier; the bars were rusted with age. I puts my hands on them and pulled back. They won't budge... I thought. I tried again. Nothing. The bars were far enough apart to stick my arm though I then heard quiet footsteps. They grew louder as the person approched. It was the man from before. He appeared at the bars. "Lemme out!" I snarled at him. He just chuckled. The man slowly pulled back his hood. I gasped. He looked exactly like me, only he wore a black tunic that the Hero of Time wore, and his whole body was very dark. He gritted his teeth. "Remember me? Four years from now, you'll destroy me! I've come from the future to stop you!" roared the man. "Who in Din's name are you?" I asked, pretending I didn't know what he was talking about. "You know who I am; Dark Link! You cannot stop me now!" he chuckled. "You cannot escape now! You have two options." He held up one finger. "Number one: allow me to take over your body so we can combine!" He then held up a second finger. "Number two: die by my hands. It's your choice." I chuckled. "How 'bout number three?" I reached through the bars, clutched Dark Link's shirt, and pulled back, slamming his face into the cold metal. Dark Link growled. "You'll regret that! You have twenty-four hours to live, Link. Use them wisely," and with that, Dark Link departed. I shouted down the hall, "My name's not Link!" I plopped onto the ground. I had a day to devise a plan and escape. What could I- "Psst!" whispered a stubby guard. He was about my size. He had been standing against the opposite wall the whole time, but I just now noticed him. He wore a Keaton mask with black armor with red leather trimming. He weilded a large nadinaga. His light blue hair was in an odd fashon. "Huh?" I asked, dumbfounded. "I can help you escape, just follow my lead-- oh, and call me Kafei."
