The Legend of Zelda: Portal of Worlds

Somehow, Hyrule is split up into two continents. Escland is the western land, while Volong is the eastern land. For unknown reasons, there is a war between the two continents. A mercenary, Link, is sent from Escland to kill the king of Volong. The main difference between Escland and Volong, is that Escland is a light, green, beautiful, peaceful place, while Volong is dark, murky, and disgusting.

On the ship to Volong, Link meets an energetic young soldier named Veldae (Zelda's descendent). She shows Link to the kings castle, and comes with him. They infiltrate the castle, but the guard wizards put a mighty spell on Link and Veldae, which puts them in an eternal sleep. Or so the king thought.

Believing that the spell was perminent, the king ordered his men to hide the frozen bodies of Link and Veldae in a cave, and seal it.

However, 100 years later, a magic user names Zarneth opened the cave, and broke the spell, thus awakening Link and Veldae. Hyrule was in much decline, in both countries. The gruesome race of Gerudos have returned, and the dark ruler (you guessed it)Ganon, had taken rule.

There's this whole backstory to this, but I'll post it later
