Hia! This is my first post in the fic. section, and it's called Seven Years. Chapter 2 isn't complete yet, i'll try to finish it soon. Tell me what you think!:
Legend of Zelda: Seven Years ~ Part One ~ Chapter One: Enter Ganondorf Ganondorf sank back into his bed and stared at the ceiling of his tent. The Triforce. That was all he could think of. He couldn't sleep. He had rarely eaten for months. But he didn't feel hungry or tired. He felt . . . irritated. Ganondorf Dragmire was a relatively handsome man in his early twenties. He had tan, muscular skin and fiery red hair. His eyes were reddish-brown and he was tall for his age. Ganondorf was the leader of the Gerudo Tribe, a clan of mostly women thieves that had one male leader every hundred years. He wore an emblem on his forehead, indicating that he was the leader at the time. The Gerudo lived in the desert of west Hyrule, the land of the Triforce. “Triforce” thought Ganondorf. Why couldn't he find it!?! Ever since Ganondorf had heard of this Power of Gold, this Triforce, he had become obsessed with finding it. Ganondorf sat up from his bed and shuffled some maps and scrolls around, blowing dust off some, being very gentle with others, until he found the one he was looking for. He carefully pulled it out of the bag next to his bed, smiling like a child who had stolen a piece of candy and was about to eat it. All of his fellow thieves were asleep in other tents not quite as large or comfortable as Ganondorf's. What time was it at night? 2, maybe 3 in the morning. Ganondorf didn't care. He spread out the parchment he had taken out on a small table, used for plotting strategies in wars, next to his bed. It contained very ancient Hylian writing, so there was much he couldn't understand. Above the ancient text was a map to a very strange looking Hyrule and apparently the Triforce, for in the center of the map was a symbol - three golden equilateral triangles, together placed in shape to make a larger equilateral triangle: the Triforce! Ganondorf stared at the map for a moment, then stepped outside of his tent. He and his comrades, Gerudos and Hylians alike, had journeyed across Hyrule in search of the Triforce ever since he had heard of it. But before he could claim the Triforce, Ganondorf had to find a gate-way to the Sacred Realm. He had searched all of the desert and most of Hyrule for it, and he had now continued his search to Death Mountain. Ganondorf stepped over to the edge of the mountain and gazed over all of Hyrule. If he found the Triforce this would all be his someday. He closed his eyes and let the cool night air refresh him and run through his hair. According to legend, Hyrule was created by three goddesses: Din, Nayru, and Farore. Din, the goddess of power, created Hyrule's shape and formation. Nayru, the goddess of wisdom, gave Hyrule light and order. And Farore, the goddess of courage, gave the land life. As they finished, the goddesses created one last object together to keep Hyrule in balance. Using Power, Wisdom, and Courage they made the Triforce. Then, to protect it, the goddesses locked away it away in the Sacred Realm, an alternate dimension opposite of Hyrule, for the Triforce was so powerful, that anyone who touched it would get whatever they wished for. That's what Ganondorf was interested in: Receiving whatever he desired. And that was Hyrule. He turned around and walked back into his tent. He picked up the scroll with the Triforce and walked back outside over to the smoldering camp fire, stepping over some of the thieves that had slept outside around it. He sat down on a log near the fire and looked at the paper. He had studied it for a while, when he noticed the sky lighting up just the slightest tad. That was good enough for him. It was morning. “Up! Up! Get up!” Ganondorf shouted. He stood up and started kicking some of the soldiers. “Up! Up!, did you hear me? Wake up!” Some of the soldiers started to groan, but as soon as Ganondorf looked their way they they immediately silenced. “But sir,” one of the younger soldiers protested, as Ganondorf was busy kicking people, “the sun isn't even up yet.” Some of the others looked at him in disbelief, their eyes widening. Ganondorf stopped what he was doing and stood up straight as the other soldiers slowly backed away. Ganondorf turned around and glared into the innocent eyes of the young soldier. Innocence. He hated innocence. “Did I ask your opinion?” Ganondorf said coldly. “No . . .” the soldier said, looking around and seeing the other soldiers had backed away. “Then, SHUT UP!!!” Ganondorf roared. Before the soldier could reply, Ganondorf had grabbed him and slammed his fist into the soldier's throat. The soldier tried to scream, but instead coughed up and started gagging, his mouth foaming. He dropped to the ground, gasping for air and gripping his throat. The soldier would live, but he'd never be able to speak again. “Anyone else have anything to say?” Ganondorf bellowed. There was silence. “Good,” he said quietly, “good.” Chapter Two: Hyrule Hyrule was a peaceful and beautiful country: most everyone who lived there considered it a perfect land. It wasn't huge, but Hyrule was spacious enough to maintain a comfortable living. It had many various regions and races, each different in their own ways. In the center of Hyrule was a large valley surrounded by mountains, forests, rivers; It was called Hyrule Field. Hyrule Field was a long stretch of land that covered almost a third of Hyrule. It had fresh, fine-looking grass over the hilly field. Wide trodden-on dirt pathways extended across Hyrule Field, and they were used often by traveling Hylians. To the north of Hyrule Field was North Hyrule, which contained Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Town. Hyrule Castle was an immense stone fortress with green spires atop it. Surrounding the vast, majestic palace was Hyrule Town or better known as “The Market”. The Market was where most of the Hylians lived and worked. Merchants also often visited there to sell or trade their wares. North Hyrule had a long rock wall surrounding the castle and market, protecting it from unwanted guests. To the east of North Hyrule was Kakariko Village and Death Mountain. The village was a medium sized town with few inhabitants. It was where people would go if they wanted to get away from the rest of Hyrule or settle down . Kakariko Village was at the foot of Death Mountain and had a trail leading up to it. Yes? No? Like? No Like? ![]()
