(ZGen/Action/Adventure) The Legend of Zelda: Dark Images
This is a story about Link traveling to find out about his father.
: Based on theme I read about Link's parents:
Chapter 1
Happy Memories
As Link and Epona traveled to Link’s house through the Lost Woods after defeating Majora, memories of his adventures flooded his mind.
When he first met Zelda:
>Flashback<
Link snuck past the last guard in the courtyard and into a much smaller area. It was surrounded by a small moat where knee-deep water was able to perfectly reflect the sun’s rays. A mound of dirt lay in the middle filled with yellow and pink flowers. Windows high up on the left and right walls showed pictures of famous “knights”. Link walked up the smooth-shaped steps to the princess of Hyrule.

When he met Impa:
>New Flashback<
“It would be disastrous if the guards saw you in the courtyard. Follow me.”
Link and Impa were transported infront of Hyrule Castle.
“Hmm,” Impa said, “I sense great courage in you. Let me teach you this song. Keep it in your heart.” Impa whistled a song that seemed to slightly drowse Link. He felt as if he could mellow out at any second. He repeated the tune with his ocarina.
“That is the song that grants you as part of the Royal Family. I see it will be useful for your journey,” Impa said. She paused. Link rubbed his eyes and shook his head. Then Impa spoke again, “I will also teach you some of my magic. It only works on potential and trustworthy people, which I believe you are.” Impa took out a deku nut. “First, shut away everything from your mind, so that it is blank,” Impa said. “Focus your energy on this. Picture this in your mind,” Impa instructed. Link obeyed and closed his eyes, picturing the deku nut. “Now picture the deku nut in the palm of your hands. Focus all your energy on those two things.”
Link kept his eyes shut. He saw blue light fill his eyelids and felt rumbling on the palm of his right hand as he held it out. Something smooth made a thud on Links palm. He opened his eyes. In his palm was the deku nut. Link felt a rush of excitement, because he was a hobbyist and loved collecting things.
“I trust you won’t abuse this power to steal, correct? It will be useful for your journey if you can’t carry something heavy. But it will only work if the something you picture is close to you,” said Impa with a final breathe. “And now I go.” Impa threw some thing on the ground. Link covered his eyes. Next thing he knew, Impa was gone.
>End Flashback<
After Link got that spell, he started collecting souvenirs from his enemies:
>Flashback<
As Phantom Ganon delivered another energy ball at Link, Link bounced it back at him. Phantom Ganon became paralyzed; it was Links cue to strike him again. The final stroke was blown and Phantom Ganon dropped his weapon and began to cease. Link quickly began concentrating on the weapon of its burning corpse. Link pictured the weapon in his tree house, on his bed. The weapon began to glow and disappeared in a flash. “Yes! I can’t wait to see this at home!” he shouted, unable to contain himself. “What’s so cool about the weapon?” Navi asked. "Weapons are cool!" Link said.
>End Flashback<
>New Flashback<
“It's Gomess,” Tatl said, “There'll be no end to it if you can't get those bats away from it. Does that shed any light on the situation?”
Link nodded in response and shot a light arrow at the vampire-like beast. As all the bats flew away, Link ran up to Gomess and slashed at him. He thrusted his sword into the green heart of it. Gomess screamed. He started burning as his gruesome, but cool looking scythe dropped to the ground, blade stuck into the ground. Link started the spell again and the scythe glowed blue. It disappeared a second later. “I didn’t know you could do that!” said a skeptical Tatl.
>End Flashback<
>The last flashback<
“I told you to keep away from those sharp swords, Link!” Tatl said as Link got burned for the third time. He was fighting a formidable opponent, the Garo Master at Stone Tower Temple. Link struck the Garo Master….or, at least he though he did. The Garo Master appeared behind Link. Link felt its presence and did a quick spin attack with his Gilded Sword. The Garo Master gave in and shared his wisdom. Then he took out a bomb. Before the Garo exploded, Link took off the mask the Garo was wearing and ran. The Garo Master was headless! He exploded. Link got charred in the explosion, but he was happy he got another mask. Link put it on. He did a jig and smiled.
>End Flashback<
Link loved all his masks EXCEPT the Kafei Mask and the Great Fairy mask. He sold those, for he did not need them anymore. Link especially liked the Fierce Deity Mask. It gave him a…mysterious feeling. Like it was part of him...like a relative. Link walked out of the Lost Woods and into the Kokiri Forest. He was home at last.
