The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Ok, this is my last story in here(well, last zelda one) and it's a bit long. i'll be writing for as long as possible, and when I can't it'll end, even if the story didn't. Then it's up to you, the reader, to think in your mind what happens next. This story will be in chapters, and long ones(or at least I hope they're long). Here it goes:

Chapter 1: The Separation

“Rouge Raven,” said Link, flipping through a book on Rambulian wildlife. “ Living on the west coast of Varmadale and the east coast of Nakeem, this bird makes transport between these two continents virtually impossible by day.”

The Triforcers-Ben, Link, and Swiftblade-were traveling through the Nakeemian Rain Forest, in the middle of Rambulia. They were new to this land, and were reading up on the animals first. They had, through a strange encounter, checked out a book from the library.

Ben, the leader, still hadn’t found any reason for them to stay in Rambulia, since it seemed to be at peace already. But still, they needed to make sure, so they were traveling around the world. So far, they hadn’t seen anything.

“Spiclops,” said Link, after flipping the page. “This strange creature was discovered in Zamar, and is still a mystery to most biologists. It has eight legs, like a spider, but has a stalk protruding from its body holding its eye. It feeds on grass, yet, like a spider, makes a web that can trap bugs. Strangely, after making its web, it leaves the area, and whatever bug is captured sits there to die.”

“Eww,” said Swiftblade. “What kind of sick world-“

“Tagelf,” continued Link. He had been talking for hours; he wasn’t going to stop now. “This small elfish creature likes to play a lot. Though it is very rare, seeing one is a bad omen. It will most likely ‘tag’ you with a strange poisonous substance. It is located mostly on Lazar, but there have been reported sightings in Cafrail, Nal, and Shorn.”

“How much longer?” asked Ben. His patience had been gone for days.

“We should be outta here soon,” said Swiftblade. “But really, Link, we can read the book our-“

“Varik,” said Link, walking in the middle of the group. He didn’t like being bossed around, so when the group told him to read a few entries, he wouldn’t stop until he was done with the whole book. “ A small parasite that feeds off of Red Sharks (see page 187). These tiny insects look just like fish, yet can fly. When the Red Sharks eat, the Variks leave and find another shark. They hate the smell of blood, which can only be smelled by them. They eat bits of meat that cling to the Red Sharks’ small hairs. The Varik are possibly the only creatures brave enough to confront Red Sharks, for the sharks never actually see them. They are invisible to Red Sharks, making their lifestyle very safe, yet without much sleep between jumping from one shark to the next.”

“I meant how many more pages until he shuts up,” said Ben, looking at Swiftblade, who was leading them through the forest at turtle-like speed.

“Oh, who knows?” said Swiftblade. “He could go on for day-“

“Vermal,” Link interrupted. “This salt water fish lives in the oceans near the Adumreb Square. It has only two fins, including the tail fin. This means it can only move left or right, depending on gender. Males usually turn right, while females tend to maneuver left. They are very peaceful fish, and have no predators nearby. They feed on seaweed and algae.”

Swiftblade leaned over and looked at the book. “ Twenty more pages,” he said.

“Man!” said Ben. “Can’t you just leave us alone with this? Who cares about some stupid anima-“ Ben tripped, and hit the ground, which was very hard and wet. “Ugh!”

Ben got up, and dusted himself off.

“I was just getting to that,” said Link. “Virpik. This small rodent, about the size of a Vermal, (see page 189) delights in tripping travelers. It loves the dampness of the rain forest, so it gets very few chances to do what it loves. It feeds on small plants.”

“Well that’s good to know now,” Ben said angrily. He took out his sword, the sacred True Master Sword. It had a red hilt, with two rubies set into it, the Two Rubies of Land and Sky, which recently won him a victory against Ganondorf in Hyrule.

“Don’t kill it,” said Link.

“Why not?” asked Ben.

“It’s an endangered species!” Link replied.

Ben hesitated, and then sheathed his sword.

“Seriously! What’s the point?” he said. “If you weren’t-“

“Exactly. Aren’t you glad we got this book?” Link butted in.

“No! I wish we had never-“ began Ben. But Link had already started talking again.

“Weblim,” Link continued.

“Weblim Schmeblim!” said Ben. He ran ahead of the group and disappeared among the trees.

“He’ll be back,” said Link, reading through the page. “These Weblims are dangerous, and they live near the edge of the rain forest.”

“So we’re almost out?”

“Yeah.”

“How many more pages?”

“Actually, the rest are what they call an ‘Index’.”

“What’s that?”

“It says where the different animals are in the book. Makes it easier to find them when you’re in a hurry.”

“Ben!” shouted Swiftblade. “He’s done now!”

Nothing. Ben was probably too far away to hear them now. Swiftblade ran ahead, so he would be able to catch up with Ben faster. Link looked at the Weblim page again.

“Uhh…Swiftblade?” he said. “You might not want to go that way.”

“Why?” asked Swiftblade, turning around right before going through two trees.

“Weblims’ webs can paralyze you for five days,” Link replied. “They’re usually between two trees that have a lot of moss, and that one looks like there’s no bark on it at all.”

Swiftblade sidestepped the web, and continued. Link started to run as well. It felt like a race now. Whoever found Ben first won.

But Ben had heard Swiftblade. He just couldn’t talk. He had run right into a Weblim web. He was going to be asleep for five days. But what was worse, the Weblim that made the web wasn’t far behind.

Weblims’ webs are also poisonous, Link remembered from the book. If Ben had run into one, he didn’t have much hope…so soon in their quest, their leader was in danger! Link put away the book, and put on the Bunny Hood. Soon, he was past Swiftblade. He backed up a bit to get next to him.

“The Weblims’ webs are also poisonous, so-“ Link began.

“Then why’d you let him go ahead?!” Swiftblade interrupted, a worried look on his face.

“Because!” Link replied. “You’re the Essence of the Voidforce! You can help him if he runs into-“

“Actually,” said Swiftblade, “I have a confession to make. I gave the power to Matthew after saving the people from Ganondorf.”

“What?!” said Link, running past Swiftblade. In Link’s haste, he tripped over something and fell to the ground. Swiftblade stopped and turned. A big red spider walked over Link and scuttled past them.

“What’s the rush?” said Swiftblade, talking to the Weblim as it ran away, and helping Link up.

“Weblims go to their webs after someone gets trapped in them,” said Link, running toward the Weblim.

“Ben?” asked Swiftblade, running to catch up with Link.

“Exactly,” Link replied. “This means Ben’s been caught. The poison should take effect three days before he awakens. But it’s a dangerous poison. Whatever we do, we have to cure him before he wakes up, and after he’s actually poisoned.”

“So what do we do the rest of the days?” asked Swiftblade.

“We keep the Weblim away from Ben,” replied Link. “If it gets to him, it’ll…eat ‘im.”

“Eat ‘im?” said Swiftblade. “But how can-“

The ground under Swiftblade fell, and so did he.

“Swiftblade!” shouted Link, looking back. Then, remembering where he was, he looked ahead again. “Ahh!” He had run right into Ben, on a web. He fell, got up, and looked around. Where was the Weblim?

Looking back, he saw it squirming, trying to climb out of the hole Swiftblade had just fallen into. Link ran up to it, and took out his sword. He swung at it, and it fell, drops of blood falling on the edge of the hole.

Link ran back to Ben, and tried to get him off of the web. After struggling for a minute, Ben slipped off. Link caught his limp form and put him over his shoulder. Using the golden gauntlets, he carried Ben past the rain forest. Swiftblade could find his way by himself.

Ok, I'm writing this in Word, so if you see any typos, tell me. My comp's pretty old. Also, do you think this is long? I hope so. This only took a few days. I was hoping it'd be long enough.

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

If I were you I would turn off the "smart quotes" because they suck.

It was definitely an improvement over your other stories. Writing it in Word is always best. I liked how you incorporated the descriptions of different animals into the story; it was an interesting way to do it. I do think the intro is a little sudden, but I'm not sure if it would work better to describe the journey through the rainforest first or not.

This sentence doesn't make sense to me.

He didn’t like reading, so when the group told him to read, he wouldn’t stop.
Also, Swiftblade falling into the hole seemed a little random unless you're going to do something with that. Otherwise it wasn't a bad beginning.

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Well yes, I'm doing something with the hole. I guess I got carried away since they're so used to strange stuff happening all the time. But the rain forest is important. And what do you mean "smart quotes"? Oh, and about that sentence, they didn't want him to read the whole thing, just everything important. He was annoyed by them bossing him around, so he did the literal of what they asked. I'll edit that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Ah ok, it makes more sense now.

By smart quotes I mean the curved quotation marks.

“Smart”
"Normal"

It's just that I don't really like the look of them. It's not that big a deal, just preference.

Oh! I see! Yeah, those are annoying. Especialy when people are interrupting speech. then they turn it the other way, so it doesn't close the speech. Makes sense now. Thanks. I didn't understand that at first. You can turn those off?

In Word:

Tools->AutoCorrect, click the tab that says "AutoFormat As You Type" and go down to "Replace straight quotes with smart quotes". Uncheck the box and you're good to go.

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Ok, thanks. I'll do that. And here's chapter two. If it's too short, just tell me. It felt short, yet actually has about as many lines as the first one.

Chapter 2: The Others

Swiftblade hit the ground. Hard. Of course, he had fallen who knows how many meters. He fell on his back, and now it hurt badly.

He saw something coming from above him, and soon, the same Weblim he had seen before was on the ground, a gash on it. It moved around for a while, and then died.

So Ben’s safe…for now, he thought.

Swiftblade looked up. The hole was still open. But even the thinness of the overhead trees didn’t allow much sunlight. The hole was very dark, except a faint light far away. Swiftblade got up and walked towards the light. Then, thinking again, he took out the Lens of Truth. Everything was the same. It was probably safe. He took out his sword, and kept it at the ground as he walked.

As he had suspected, after a while, the ground under the sword disappeared, and he sidestepped the hole. Walking on, he found many more traps. He was glad he hadn’t just run through it.

The light was held by something, but Swiftblade wasn’t close enough to tell what was. He walked cautiously closer, keeping his blade to the ground. Soon, a ghost appeared, holding the light in a lantern. A Poe.

The Poe just stood there, seemingly waiting for Swiftblade to come. He did come, and soon, the Poe started floating away. A wall of stone blocked off the part of the cave he had traveled to get there.

“Follow me,” said the Poe.

“Who are you?” asked Swiftblade.

“I am the ghost of Marzol Sentik.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Link put Ben’s sword on his back, and walked on. They were now very close to the city. Link had imagined something like Hyrule Castle Town, but what he saw was totally different.

The tall, shining, metal buildings confused Link. In Hyrule, they used bricks, not metal. But some of the buildings here were made of bricks too. Not too many though. Some of the buildings reached the sky.

Link, noticing that there was no big drawbridge, wondered what kind of protection this place had. Seemingly none. There weren’t any huge walls surrounding it, no big castle in the middle, nothing. Just building after building.

Another thing that confused him were these big metal things zipping by at top speed. Some were dirty, some clean. But for some reason, they held people inside of them. What were they? After seeing people get out of them, he assumed that they were a sort of horse that you had to open to ride. Very strange to him, but he just shrugged the strange idea out of his head.

Link knew that people went to a “doctor” when they were sick from another book he had looked at in the library, but where could he find one? And what was a “doctor”? In Hyrule, people had cures, and just bought them from merchants. How would he know what a “doctor” was?

After stepping into the city, he decided to ask someone.

“Excuse me,” he said to a man with tattered clothes that was standing on the side of “Learn st.” and had just been about to look in a strange metal can. “Do you know where I can find a doctor?”

“If I did,” said the man, looking up from the can, “I wouldn’t tell you.” Then, looking greedy, he added “But if you give me some money, I think I might be able to find out.”

Link recognized the thing this man was asking him to do, yet pulled out fifty rupees anyway.

“Whoa!” said the man, snatching the rupees and holding them to his chest. He looked around, and slipped the money into his pocket. “I think there’s a doctor’s office on…Shorn Street.”

“Thanks,” said Link, trying not to seem strange since he didn’t know what a “street” was. He watched the man run away down the next street, which had its name blocked by a tree. Now I just need to find out where Shorn street is, Link thought.
---------------------------------------------------------------
“Sentik?” asked Swiftblade, running to keep up with the Poe, still keeping his sword to the ground.

“Yes, Sentik!” the Poe replied. “You got a hearing problem?”

“You mean you’re related to Ben Sentik?”

“Yeah! He’s my grandson!”

“But how is that possible? Marzol’s last name is Garto!”

“You must have me mixed up with someone else.”

Swiftblade wondered why this Poe was acting so kind to him, as if they were old friends. It wasn’t trying to kill him, like another Poe he knew…but maybe this Poe was trying to help him.

“So you’re Swiftblade, right?” asked Marzol.

“Yeah,” replied Swiftblade, wondering how this Poe could know him, especially if he didn’t know who it was.

“Well it’s your lucky day,” said Marzol. “You happen to be the only one who can help this land. So I’m going to give you my legacy. My grandson really hates me, so he doesn’t deserve it, and I’ve heard good stuff about you.”

“How did you hear about me?” asked Swiftblade, jumping over a small hole.

“Well…that’s not important,” Marzol spat. “What is important is that you get what I want to give you.”

The cave came to a fork, and Marzol stopped. He looked both ways, and sighed.

“What?” asked Swiftblade quickly. “Don’t you know which way to go?”

“I…forgot,” replied Marzol.

“Well I guess can find out,” Swiftblade said, taking out the Lens of Truth. He looked to the right. He saw a huge snake, a bunch of fire dancers, and about twenty Redeads, and supposed that there was a door used to trap someone in there. “Definitely the left,” he said, moving the lens to the left. But before he looked there, he saw the ghost…disappear. There wasn’t a ghost at all. It was a trick.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Link walked to Shorn and Vermal. It had taken a long time to get there. It was night by now, and the lights annoyed him. What kind of place is almost as light at night as it is at day? At least he didn’t have to carry a lantern.

This was the end of Shorn, so Link looked around. If there wasn’t a doctor’s office somewhere around here, he would have to check the other way. That was what he feared. But after looking at the curve of the dead end, he saw the doctor’s office between two crumbling brick buildings.

Link was fatigued from carrying Ben all this way, since Ben was bigger than him. Even though he had on the golden gauntlets, Ben still weighed about one hundred and fifty pounds. Link guessed they didn’t work as well when he was a kid.

Link walked very slowly over to the private clinic, and looked at the door. It was glass. Strange.

Link pushed on the door with one hand, and it didn’t budge. What was happening? He looked at the door. Why wouldn’t it-wait! He looked closer at the sign on the door. It was closed. Link cursed, and laid Ben down. He would just have to wait until it opened.

After taking a closer look, he saw the name of the doctor: Nick Bartik.
------------------------------------------------------------------
“So you’re an illusion?!” said Swiftblade, looking at the Poe with the Lens of Truth put away now.

“Yes,” replied the Poe, outwardly ashamed of itself. “I’m supposed to take you to the monsters, but as you can see, I’ve forgotten which way it was. I’m a failure.”

“And who made you?” Swiftblade swiftly asked, not at all interested in the Poe’s sad tale.

“Marzol Sentik did.”

“So there is a Marzol Sentik in this world?”

“Yes.”

“And I take it he’s the evil here?”

“Yes.”

“I guess I beat the others. Well, what’s in the left fork?”

“I-I’m not sure…”

“Well let’s see.”

Swiftblade took out the Lens of Truth, and looked at the left passage. A small treasure chest lay there, a rotting staircase behind it.

“Well, I guess that’s the safe way. Any idea what’s inside that chest?”

“Uhh, I guess, um…the Old Emacko Bracelet. It was a treasure of Marzol’s”

“And why are you so lenient on telling me everything about Marzol?”

“Well it doesn’t matter much does it? This place is about to blow up in five min-oops.”

“What?!”
------------------------------------------------------------
Again, hope it was long enough. Any typos, just tell me. Or, like Hylian Lemon, anything you don't understand. I'll see what I can do. Man! I tried to change the quotation marks, but nothing happened. I guess now it'll do that. Hope you liked the chapter!

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Changing the settings will only take effect when you start typing again. If you fixed it after typing the story, it wouldn't change what you'd already typed.

I'm wondering if they somehow traveled into the future or the city is just farther along technology-wise. I was glad when the story with the ghost didn't turn out to be boring and cliche.

One thing I think you need to edit in the first chapter.

Quote:
Looking back, he saw it squirming, trying to climb out of the hole Swiftblade had just gotten out of.
But according to the second chapter, Swiftblade never climbed out of the hole. That sentence needs some editing.

I think one reason it looks kind of short is that you don't leave spaces between paragraphs like I do. I just think it makes the story a little cleaner-looking and easier to read, not to mention makes it look longer than it really is. A lot of people do it the way you are, though, so if you prefer it that's fine.

The poe has me interested.

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Wow, I make a lot of mistakes! Thanks, I've edited it now, and spaced it out. The third chapter is going to take a while. I've got a sort of...problem. Not exactly writer's block, but...something strange. It'll be done in about a week. That is, because of this...problem. Otherwise, it would take about three days. But anyway, if the Poe makes you interested, wait till you see what I do with him...

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Ok, I know i said a week, but this...problem(I love using those...'s) was recently fixed, and I wrote the new chapter already. I'm hoping to get more replies now, though, since over 40 people veiwed this.

Chapter 3: What if…?

"What do you mean?!" said Link, talking to a person about the local restaurant. "How could it be closed? It says right here: 5:00 A.M.-8:30 P.M."

"Yeah," said the teenager, who was heading for school, almost bursting with laughter at Link's clothing. "But that's Monday-Thursday. Today's Friday." He pointed at another set of times. "You have to wait another hour before it opens." Then, chuckling, he walked away.

Link scratched his head, and walked back to the clinic. Ben was resting, and seemed to be having a good dream. He was smiling, and kept turning.

Suddenly, Ben stood up. Link thought he was awake now, but Ben still had his eyes closed. He looked angry now. He tapped his back, and Link guessed that he was looking for his sword. Link guessed it was ok. At least Ben was asleep.

Link handed Ben his sword when he suddenly moved his head from side to side, as if looking for it. Ben took it, and unsheathed it. Ok, thought Link, maybe that wasn't such a great idea. Ben swung the sword and almost hit Link. Since Ben was having an imaginary battle, Link decided to step back. But then the doctor came, in his red…metal thing. Ben, not knowing it was there of course, drove his sword right into it.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Swiftblade ran into the left fork. The Poe followed him.

"Seems like you've let down Marzol again, huh?" said Swiftblade, jumping over a hole. The whole ground was starting to shake.

"I'm pathetic," said the Poe. "How many times do I have to say it? I'm clumsy, stupid, ignorant, foolish…"

"Ok, I get it!" snapped Swiftblade, stopping in front of the treasure chest. He kicked it, but it wouldn't open. "What's wrong with this thing?!"

"Uh…"

"Start talking!" Swiftblade tried lifting the treasure chest.

"I think the key's in the other…"

"Man! Why didn't you say that before?!"

Swiftblade ran out of the fork, dropping the chest. He took out his sword, the Lorth sword. He had never used it for battle. He wondered how it would do. He threw down the Nayru's Love spell to protect him. He tried to think of any other precautions he should take.

Redeads would slow him down. He would have to get rid of them first. But how? The Din's Fire spell wouldn't beat them fast enough. Suddenly, a song burst into his mind. A song that would freeze the Redeads…

Swiftblade ran into the small room and quickly took out the Ocarina of Time. He played the new song, and was surprised by how he knew it so well. The Redeads froze, but the rest of the monsters still stood there. Swiftblade readied his sword, then swung at the big snake.

This was something he hadn't expected. As soon as his blade hit the snake, it disappeared. Swiftblade looked around. Where had it gone? Then, looking at the floor, he saw a small rat. What in the world?!, he thought.

Swiftblade ran over to the fire dancers, and slashed away. Soon, there were a bunch of rats, dogs, and roosters on the floor. What was going on?

Suddenly, he remembered something from Earth, the previous world they had visited. These animals…maybe Key…

Swiftblade had to make sure. He ran up to the group of Redeads and swung at each one. The first few turned into monkeys. Some turned into small snakes. Others turned into sheep. Finally, one turned into an ox. It was obvious now. The Lorth sword turned things into animals of the Chinese Zodiac. But why? Was it created on Earth?

"What in the world did you do?!" said the Poe, who had just floated into the room. "They're all…is that the Lorth sword?"

"Yeah," replied Swiftblade. "Never knew it would do this."

"Well you only have two minutes left."

"Oh yeah."

Swiftblade ran over to a small treasure chest and kicked it open. He took the key and ran back to the left fork. He quickly put the key into the lock, and turned. It opened, and Swiftblade grabbed what was inside. It was a bag. A brown paper bag that was rolled into a sort of cylinder. He unrolled it, and looked inside. Sure enough, a silver bracelet was inside. He took it out, and put it on his arm.

"You have less then a minute," said the Poe, already going up the stairs.

"Why are you leaving?" asked Swiftblade, already catching up with the Poe halfway up the stairs. "You're an illusion."

"I…want to make sure you get out."

Swiftblade doubted that, but there was no other reason, so he just ran up without thinking about it any further.

It was taking long to get up the stairs. They went all the way to the surface. But Swiftblade wondered if he would make it. If the place blew up, the stairs would probably get blocked off by falling rubble. But he probably wouldn't be alive long enough to be blocked by it.

Trying not to be scared of an imminent doom, Swiftblade ran up the stairs, careful not to trip.

"How much more time?" he asked.

"Twenty seconds."

The top of the stairs was now in sight, and Swiftblade was relieved. If he could just hurry and make it…

"Fifteen…" counted the Poe, getting ahead of Swiftblade slightly. "I don't want you to hate me, but I have to get out first. Even though you're the one in danger…I'll tell you why if you make."

"If?!" Swiftblade snapped. "For what reason do you think I won't get out of here?"

But the Poe was now too far ahead of him to answer. A few more meters, and he'd be out…

"Five!" shouted the Poe, getting out of the cave.

"Wait for me!" shouted Swiftblade. He wanted to know just what was going on.

"Four! Three!"

Swiftblade got to the top. He ran for the exit, which was a bit farther off than it looked when he was coming up the staircase.

"Two!"

Swiftblade was right next to the exit. Just then, he noticed something horrible: the cave let out on a cliff. A very small cliff. A very small cliff overlooking the city.

"One!"

Swiftblade ran out of the cave, and the force of the explosion pushed him off the cliff. The Poe followed him down. How would he survive this? Now he knew what the Poe had meant. If he made it, he would find out what the rush was all about. But he seemed to be falling slow, even though the wind seemed to be pushing against him with all its might as he fell. But then, when he looked at the Poe, he forgot all about falling. A new thought came into his mind. Why did the Poe turn into a woman? And what was stranger, Swiftblade felt he knew her…

"I'm really sorry," said Link, trying to get Nick Bartik to let him make an appointment. "That's his problem. He's totally asleep. You see, we were in the rain forest, and he ran ahead, so I couldn't warn him about the Weblim's web, and-"

"Weblim?!" said Nick. "No wonder! This is an emergency! Come on in. We'll need to act fast, so-can't you keep him from doing that for one second?!"

"Sorry," replied Link sheepishly. Ben had tried to slash Nick's car again. Nick had complained about it, so Link found out what it was called.

"So take it away from him!" snapped Nick. "Why does he have a sword anyway?"

"Long story," said Link, somewhat truthfully.

Nick opened the door to the clinic, and rushed Ben inside. Link took Ben's sword, and put it on his back again.

"So I guess I can't blame you for what happened to my car…except, why were you out there? My office isn't even supposed to be open today. I just came here for my research papers I left."

"Oh, I didn't see the times anywhere."

"Oh yeah. Some kid tore it off, but I was told they'd put up a new one soon. Just know that I'm not open on Saturdays."

"Ok."

Nick took Ben into the emergency room.

"How long ago was this?"

"Yesterday."

"Good. I just might be able to stop the poison before it effects him."

"But we'll still have to wait, right?"

"No. If I can get the poison out before tomorrow, he'll wake up right after I do."

"Good. We're still on a little journey, so we should try to get back as soon as possible."

Link was surprised. Nick didn't really look like him. Nick had brown hair, and wore white. Maybe it wasn't Nick, his brother. Maybe it was just a coincidence. But maybe it wasn't. Nick had been presumed dead…what if…?

"So, what's this guy's name?"

"Hmm? Oh, Ben."

"Ben? Ben Sentik?"

"Uh, yeah."

"I haven't seen him for a while! He looks a bit different. Where's his scar on-"

"I think you're talking about someone else. He's never been here before."

"Oh really? Well, I guess I should stop thinking about who he is and-wait, who are you? You look awfully familiar."

"I'm Link," said Link, careful not to say his last name. If it wasn't his brother, he didn't want to keep talking about coincidences.

"I thought I knew you! Link Bartik! How've you been?"

"Uh, I think-"

"Why didn't you say who you were bro?" asked Nick, looking through the cabinet for some medicine.

"You mean…you're Nick Bartik, from Hyrule?"

"Of course! Don't you remember?"

"Frankly, I don't. I only remember Kokiri Forest and what happened afterward."

"Man, I can't believe you don't remember! I used to be quite the prankster. Got you into a bit of trouble a few times…"

"Then again, I think I remember hating someone…"

So it was true. This was Link's lost brother. This world was full of surprises, as Swiftblade was soon to find out…
-----------------------------------------
"Who are you?" asked Swiftblade, falling and falling, not knowing how fast time was going. It was getting dark, and he was still in the air. "I thought you were-"

"Long story," said the woman. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, just like Swiftblade. He was now seeing that she was very beautiful…

"Well we have a lot of time," Swiftblade said calmly. "Who knows if we'll even survive this?"

"Ok," the woman sighed. "I'm…Morpha Bartik, your wife."

Ok, Hylian Lemon. See what I did? I like this change myself. It leads to something very good. Well, to those who had time to read this whole thing, good job. You did it. *claps weakly* Now, please reply, those who actually made it to reading the whole story so far.

Re: The Triforcers: Journey of Peril

Well I was thinking about doing some character bios. Like Ben. I was thinking of explaining his character some more, since I have trouble putting it in the story. And since I'm not his age, can't really relate(well who could anyway?). So here's his bio.

Ben Sentik

Age: 19
D.O.B: July 21(no one knows what year)
Hair color: black
Eye color: blue
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 149 lbs
Likes: Fighting, analyzing situations, and coffee
Dislikes: people in love, moblins, and long periods of time without much progress
Race: Zylian (Zoran and Hylian)
Birthplace: Windfall Island
Occupation:A former detective, and current Triforcer
Triforce Piece: Power

If there's anything else you want to know, just ask. I'll do Swiftblade next. I wrote my fourth chapter too fast, so I'll wait a while. Also, anyone can reply! I know people are viewing, but please! Why not reply? See any typos, anything you don't understand? Or do you like it? How about this: if you view this, reply.
