(Act/Adv/Tra/Rom)The Triforce(T)
Ok, now before I start writing this first chapter, I will tell you that before I have not continued to write the rest of my story, because after reading it over and over again, I realized that it did not have the primary elements I was looking for in the first place. Even though I am still not done the story, I have completely fixed my story to the tiniest of mistakes. Enjoy...
A long time ago, when the land of Hyrule was nothing but a vast chaotic plain of darkness, three golden goddesses descended from the heavens to cure the land with their light. These goddesses were: Din, goddess of power. Nayru, goddess of wisdom. And Farore, goddess of courage. The goddesses also created a powerful force to keep balance of both the light of Hyrule, and its darkness. This power was known as the Triforce. They built a temple to protect this power from any evil that would try to obtain it. Unfortunately, it did not go as the goddesses wished... Greed for ultimate power consumed the land, and even the good sided with the evil of Hyrule to obtain the power of the Triforce. The King sent his entire army to stop this chaos, but it was not such a simple task. A cloud of evil covered Hyrule, and the cloud formed into a dark figure, which became evil's new king. The armies of Hyrule tried the best they could to stop all of this, but they came out defeated. The land was then under the Evil King's control. 15 years have passed since then, and the siege of the Dark One continued, until one day... A warrior, clothed in the green of fields, rode to the Dark King to stop his control over the land, once and for all. He rode on his steed, and slaughtered every creature under the Evil King's control that came his way, and he did not stop. When he reached his destination, the warrior saw the Dark King, and quickly drew his sword. The Dark King did the same, and they both charged at each other. Their swords clashed like thunder, and the two fighters fought a vicious battle against one another. The Evil King, after pushing back the warrior, thrusted his sword quickly through the warrior's chest. The warrior cried out in pain, as the Dark King laughed at the warrior's weakness. Pulling out his sword, the Evil King was ready to strike down the warrior, but he could not do so, for the warrior thrusted his sword into the Evil King's head. He started to deteriorate unto the Dark Realm, and the sky above the land, once a black curtain above Hyrule, became a clear, sunny sky that the people were hoping to see one day. As the castle became rubble, and the body of the dead hero laid onto the ground, a maiden came and took the body with her. She buried it at the temple in which the Triforce was kept, and prayed for him eternal peace for his soul. Well, that's how the story goes, or so they say. My name is...... well, that's not important right now. All I can say is that I might be the only hope for the people of Hyrule. This is my story....... The Triforce............ I was once at Lake Hylia, fishing for my daily meal, on a bright sunny day. The surface of the water was shining, the fish were seen swarming, and there was no cloud in sight. Nothing could go wrong, or at least I thought. The professor from the Lakeside Laboratory came out and spotted me fishing. He came at me with a broom, and shouted to me, "What areyou doing, you little brat! Fishing here is forbidden! Get out of here, or I'll call the guards to take you!" I ran out afterwards, taking what I could with me, and looked back, making sure he wasn't chasing me. After I left Lake Hylia, I was relieved to be in one piece, afterrunning away from that old professor. Well, I knew what I was going to have for dinner, again. Nice, tasty fish. Since both my parents died, and my village destroyed,I lived nothing but a crappy life, full of hate, and neglect. I once lived a happy life, with my mother and father, and my brother and sister. We always lived happily together, but when my father was asked to fight in the 15 Years War, I became scared that he wouldn't come back, but he told me to have faith. So I did, but unfortunately, a soldier came to our door after the war, and told my mother that my father was killed during battle. I was shocked at hearing the news, and anger raged in my heart. A few days later, my village was attacked by monsters, and my mother forced me to flee from the village quickly. I wanted to know why, but all she said was that they were looking for me. I asked my mother about my siblings, and she replied that they fled as well. I didn't waste any more time, and I fled from the village. Ever since then, I lived as an orphan child, and I did anything to survive. Now, I'm a 13 year-old, street urchin, wearing ripped clothes, doing anything to survive. If only I had my old life back... I then suddenly noticed men on horses coming my way. I looked more closely, and saw that they were the King's men. I started to think that they were coming for me because of that old professor, so I started running for my life, again. I did not know which way to go, and unfortunately, I was trapped. They came too quickly, and I had no room for escape. A royal guard came out from the group, and read from the scroll he was holding, "By order of his majesty, you are hereby to follow us." I knew then that it was certainly about the fishing I did at Lake Hylia, so I said, "Look, if it's about the fishing I did at Lake Hylia, I had no idea it was forbidden, and I only caught one, so just leave me the hell alone, will ya?" I began to walk away from them, but then, I heard someone getting off their horse. I turned around, and caught only a glimpse of a tall, feminine figure. I didn't see her completely, for the sun was in my eyes. She was quick, and knocked me out. Last edited by Godsmack'd; 12-30-2005 at 08:57 PM. |
