(Fan) The Final Card Captor (T)

Chapter 1



It's not a normal dream...
Everything is bathed in a thick, velvety black, and yet, light is streaming from some unknown source.
"Where am I?"
A boy walks through this river of black light.
Suddenly, the boy comes across a woman, her back turned towards him, the boy knows this woman from somewhere and yet, she is a stranger.
Abruptly, the Sun and Moon dissolve into focus, shining and glittering, like light on water, the black dream is bathed in white glow - the boy shields his eyes.
Then, in between the Sun and the Moon, appears a large, gleaming Star, it's perpetual sparkle is almost blinding!
As if drawn by some invisible force, the Sun and Moon orbit the Star, spining quicker, and quicker...until the boy is shaken awake by an enthusiastic five year old little girl.

"Wake up! It’s my Birthday!!
You have to take me to the shoppy!”
The boy wakes up and rubs his eyes.
”You go tell Mum and Dad to get the cake ready, I’ll get dressed and be down in five minutes," said the boy, beaming at his baby sister.
Obeying, the girl went downstairs – the boy gets out of bed.
He’s around eighteen years old or so, with long, curly black hair and a bluish streak in the fringe, akin to an X-man character, framing a pale, round face, similar to that of a cherub, almost feminine-like.
In contrast, his body in seemingly anorexic thin, he looks severely underweight.
His eyes are neither brown, nor green, but a warm shade of both.
Quickly donning on yesterdays’ clothes, the boy rushes downstairs, into a small kitchen, with white, marble tiles on the floor, and white-washed walls.
”Good Morning Yoichi!"
The Cake needs a few more minutes…well, maybe another hour, so you may as well take Maria to the shops to buy her presents,” called the mother, prodding at the cake.
”Hee! I gots presies! Lets go – now, please, now?
I’ve got my shoes on – look, they’re red, I like red, it’s like red apples!”
The little girl, Maria danced around the kitchen, singing, Yoichi smiled, she was growing up so fast, he could remember when all she could do was gurgle, let alone parade around the house.
”So – where d’you want to go?” Yoichi smiled.



*Around half an hour later, Maria and Yoichi enter the local Library*

”Ooh! Look, colowing books! Can I have that one with the bunny?” sang Maria, exploding into another fit of happiness.
Dancing over to the shelves in the infant section, Maria pulled out a beautiful book, ornate in cute little bunny designs, with a little kitten, next to one of the bunnies, playing with its’ tail.
”Ok – we’ll get this one then.” Said Yoichi.
The Yoichi walked to the counter, with Maria, clutching her book proudly in her arms.
Yoichi handed the book over to the attendant.
”Oh! With this book, you get another free colouring book – see the cat on this one? Well, this book is basically the same as your bunny one, but with the Cat on the cover, can’t say I would have thought it was a colouring book, but – there you are!” Said the attendant pleasantly.
The attendant reached to the shelf behind her, and pulled the book from the shelf, again, an explosion of Pink.
About ten minutes later, the pair return to the house, Maria waltzing in, grabbing a stuffed bear, and dancing with it.

As if by magic, the whole house had been decorated in pretty pink decorations, like a piece of silk, encrusted with shining sequins.
“We tricked you to put the decorations up! Happy Birthday Maria!” Shouted the family together!
Maria, again, exploded into a fit of giggles and dancing.
“SO – what did you buy, colouring books? Lemme see,” the mother peered into the bag briefly,
“Awe, very…pink – and very ornate, they must have cost a lot!” said the mother curiously.
“Not that much, the one with the Cat on was given to us free with the bunny book,” replied Yoichi, examining the books, taking them out of the bag.
“What did you say they were called?” inquired the mother,


“Umm, the Candy Bunny, and...the Sakura?”

Side note - This is basically a Card Captor Sakura Fan fiction story, taking place some seventy years after Sakura became the true master of the Cards, after besting Eriol Hiiragizawa.
As a result, Yoichi would find the Pink Sakura Book/Cards, instead of the Clow.
People unfamiliar with the The Card Captor Sakura Anime/Manga, (especially the 'Master of the Clow' saga for the Manga and the third season for the Anime) might find some of this difficult to follow, sorry if that happens :embrsd:

This is basically an introduction - don't worry, it will get more dramatic with the next chapter - Coming to a ZU near you soon!

I remember that show. It was great, but I'll regret not being able to see those last ones with the Darkness and Light cards. Stupid Higher Learning program! Anyway... it was great, to say the least. The most would take up too many pages. I can't wait for the time one of them opens the book. No grammar mistake that I have noticed. Anyway... I'm off.
