What happens when our favorite hero dies? He leaves someone to do it for him. (This is my first story here or anywhere (and my computer has a mind of its own), so sorry if it is horrible and/or short...)
Everyone has a story... Some stories have a better ending than others... This is the story of Zack. He is seventeen years old and has a mystery to solve. He was raised by an old man... ...and he taught Zack swordsmanship... ...so that the need arrive... ...Zack could protect himself. An unexpected event happens one night... His sensei murdered by a mysterious man... ...Zack knocked unconcious... Seeing this death brings him to a journeyto find this man from his sensi's past... He enters the Lost Woods to find his sensei's home town: the Kokiri Village... On his way, he stops at a house in the forest... The house is as brown as logs. This log cabin looks like it has seen a lot in the years. The windows have broken glass on them. The shutters are opening and closing with the wind. They creak with each opening and shutting. An old scarecrow stands near the house. It has an orange shirt and blue shorts with a straw hat on its head. It looks like it is trying to tell you something... Like the small field here holds a secret... an important secret... Just then, "Help! Help!". A distant figure runs out of this old house. His expression is mixed with wisdom and helplessness. His clothes were not anywhere near good. They were torn a bit, as if he were tortured and just escaped. "Hey! Help me!" the old man yelled as he noticed Zack. He nears Zack with speed unfamiliar to his feet. His legs were shaking uncontrollably when he stopped. His arms trembled as he held a key. Zack looks at this man straight into his eyes. "My house is haunted!!" the old man screamed. "I'm sorry. Do you..." Zack started to ask. "Help! My house is haunted!!" the old man repeated. "I'll see what I can do." Zack sighed. The old man steps farther away from the house. Zack, however, steps closer towards it. Being seventeen, he was almost an adult, yet as mature as one. At least, that is how he looks. His height is, well, about five feet four inches or five feet six inches. He had a pretty good physique, since he had been walking through forests for quite a while. His eyes now show disbelief of the old man's story. Those eyes helped him live off the land for a while. His sword was in a sheath. The hilt shined in the sun, although the color, which was a dark brown, doesn't usually shine. The sheath was a royal blue with gold triangles on it. It looke as if it were threaded together. His army was brown, like his hilt. The shield he carried was orange and now reflected his face. He had blue eyes and blonde hair. His skin was tanned, but not not so brownish. Sweat fell from his face slowly onto the shield, blurring the image. The last thing seen on the shield was the expression of surprise. He had opened the door and a ghost came out of it. It wasn't clear, like myths say. It had no pupils, just white eyes. Zack swung his sword at it and the ghist just gradually disappears, as if dying again. No expression was shown on the ghost's disappearing face. His shining sword was held onto tightly as he entered the house. This room wasn't anything special. Pictures barely hung on the wall. Some were actually broken, the glass everywhere and the frame broken. As he was wearing shoes, he did not care about the glass. Baskets were lying in the oddest places. He examined the door to the cellar. Locked. He sighed and tried the attic door. Locked. Zack sighed again and tried the kitchen door. It opened for him. Accepting this as his invitation, Zack entered.[INDENT] There was a limited amount of counters. There was one with a sink and another with a stove. Some knives lay on the stove counter. Logs were everywhere, blocking the paths to the counters. A drawer lies in front of him. He steps forward and stops. Something else was there. "Go away..." the entity said. Ghosts rushed to take Zack on. He swiftly swung his sword at them, sending them to a better place. The entity remained, though. "Stay back..." it said. Zack payed no attention to it and opened the drawer. A key lay there with a note. 'Open the cellar door.' He took the key and made his way to the cellar. The stairs were finally visible. They were rather old and ready to give up and let someone fall. He carefully stepped lower and lower into the cellar. It was well lit, despite Zack's thoughts. Logs were blocking his way again, but boulders also helped him make his journey harder. He pushed the boulders away from him to get out of the cellar After much pushing, he reached another staircase. These steps were recently used, unlike the last ones. He made it down and sees the second level of the cellar. The path is rather beaten. Patches of grass grew there. It was all stone. The walls, floor, steps. Stone. Water surrounded him. And there, he saw it. A blue chest that probably contained what he needed to stop all of these ghosts from living in this house. He felt the entity speak again. "Leave now..." the entity warned. More ghosts came to assassinate Zack. However, he just took his shield to defend himself. As he thought, the ghosts reacted to the shield like they did to the sword. They went to the afterlife. The entity decided to speak again. "For the last time, get out..." the entity said. "Why?" Zack asked. "Don't come to the attic..." the entity stated. "At least I know where I have to go." Zack said. Suddenly, the room started to rumble. Debris fell from the ceiling. Two lamps appeared out of nowhere. When the rumbling finally stopped, he checked the cellar. The logs rearranged themselves to make the trip easier. He walked out of the cellar. At long last, he was face-to-face with the attic door. The key he had received from the cellar turned in his sweaty palm. The door creaked loudly and he entered. Then, the door shut itself behind Zack. More logs led him to a section between two poles. These poles had clothes on them. They were rather small on the poles. Between them, an ugly-looking figure stood. It smelled horribly and it wore a torn pair of shorts. It had a hreyish color. It moved quickly. "I told you not to come here," the figure said,"Now I will have to kill you." The figure, who was identified as a zombie, noved back and sent his ghosts to weaken Zack. He took the ghosts down one by one. The zombie waited for a while, then raised his hands. "Lithe Null" the zombie said with feeling. Zack's limbs felt heavier and he couldn't run as fast as before. He was able to defend himself, but not with as much agitlity as before. The zombie came in and took this chance to knock him straight into the wall. The pain was sharp. Zack had indeed felt it and fell. Almost immediately, Zack jumped back up with his normal agility. The zombie was not to happy. He raised his arms again. Zack held his sword and ran towards the undead monster. "Lithe Null" the zombie yelled. "Cross Cut" Zack counter-yelled. Zack swiftly and nimbly moved his sword and cut the creature. He left a cross mark on him. The zombie's face was full of awe and pain. He started to disappear with his expression of overpowered pain. Zaxk realized he was locked in, so he jumps out the window and lands right where he started. The old man notices and runs toward him. "Did you do it?" the old man asks. "Yup. Piece of cake.' Zack replies. "Would you like payment?" he asks. "Yeah. Do you know where the Kokiri Village is?" Zack asks. "Go north from here..." the old man says. "Thanks!" Zack yells, running. "No, thank you." the old man replies, turning that key around...Please review this. The next chapter will take longer to write. School can do that. |

Re: (Fan) The Legend of Zelda: Crystals of Magic [E]
Since no one is replying, I'll continue the story. Just so you now, many things have changed in Hyrule. Some things will become weird and confusing. For example, in this chapter, the Kokiri know some fighting moves
.A sigh of relief echoes through the woods. Birds fly out through where Zack entered. There were many trees blocking a straight path from where he was to a probable location of the Kokiri Village. He knew exactly where he was: the Lost Woods. He had no idea how it got the name. An increadibly large tree was at the center of the wood. He walked around the tree to look at the landscape. After walking, he sat down and reviewed what he saw. Four identical pathways! He doesn't even remember which one he took to get in. "Maybe if I take the left one..." Zack said to himself. Calmly, he stood on his feet and walked through a pathway. A light was emitted and he returned to the old man's house. The old man looked at him in surprise. "Weren't you going to the Kokiri Village?" the old man asked. "I'm going, I just took a wrong turn, that's all." Zack answered. He reentered and took the left he planned to take. Another light shone and returned him to the house. "Are you..." the old man started to ask. "Another wrong turn, that's all," Zack stated in a hurry, "I'm not lost or anything." Zack ran back in and took the right path. No light shone and he saw disbelief. It was the exact same tree and paths just like the one before. He decided to stop. The sun did not shine anymore. The tree tops covered the sky and its light. Zack was not too happy about this, so he made a quick tent out of some twigs, branches, and leaves. He also made a small fire and slept for a while. Nothing was there. A dark, empty place. No one to be seen for miles. Nothing to be seen for miles. A man in this nothingness comes closer. Light engulfs this mystery man. "Listen..." the man says. Then, he falls and the light dies down. Zack sharply rises up, having experienced a nightmare. He looks around to see the same place he was trapped in. Suddenly, the wind blows. It hits him in the face. He turns to the wind and doesn't see anything, but his ears prick up. He hears something that wasn't there. "Look, we have to go back!" one voice says. Zack immediately leaps up to this and runs toward it. The tunnel he took leads him to an identical wood. He listens again and hears no more voices, but... music! He dashes against the wind to get towards the musoc. Another tunnel is taken and the light shines. His smile begins to go down to a frown, but decides to return. The tree he saw was much bigger than the others. He only saw a path to his right and behind him. Finally, Zack sees two people. There is a boy in front of the tree. He is wearing blue. It looks like it was for a judo class. A girl is near him. She has pink hair that Zack could see was unnatural. She, too, wore a judo-like uniform, but it was pink. Zack goes up to the boy. "Do you know where the Kokiri Cillage is?" Zack asks, feeling hopeful. "Sure," the boy states, " Saria! Attack position three!" 'Yes, Mido!" she rplies. They jump away from each other and land on seperate branches. "I'll tell you if you can defeat us!" the boy challenges. Saria, the girl, looks at Zack and asks herself, "Have I seen him somewhere?" Zack readies himself for attack. He goes up the tree and decides to strike Mido, the boy. Mido jumps and gives him a punch in the back, making his balance fall. Zack manages to swing back and attack Saria. She jumps and steps closer to him. "Stunning Fist!" she screams. She punches him quickly, hitting key areas. His knees were first and that made him kneel on the branch. His right elbow was hit and his shield falls to the ground. He put away his sword quickly enough to avoid having it fall as his left elbow is hit. His face takes a blow and to assure pain, all five areas were hit at once, stunning him. Unable to move, he breaks the branch by the strain it had because of his armor's weight. He lands painfully on the ground. Zack was able to look up and see Mido trying to get his head. "Stunning Fist!" was yelled by Mido. "Cross Cut!' Zack yelled back. His arm recovered from the fist technique enough to delay Mido's attack. Saria tries to attack him on his left elbow so Mido can land a blow. Zack trips Saria to stop this plan. He picks up his hield and jumps to the top of the tree. Mido goes after him. There was an intense faceoff there. The sun shone on their faces. Mido was sweating many drops and his shirt was wet. Zack had bruises in his face and arms from Saria. Mido tries to confuse Zack. He runs around Zack, showing his amazing agility. Zack, however, expected this and decided to do something bold... He shut his eyes... Nothingness returned. The man engulfed in light returned to the ground. He was trying to say something. He looks up and shows an expression of worry. "Behind you!" the man yells. Zack immediately throws his shield behind him with his eyes shut. He turns on one foot and readies his sword. "Cross Cut!" was yelled. He nimbly and fiercely attacked Mido, leaving a cross scar on his shirt. The surprise causes Mido to fall onto the ground. Saria saw the attack. "Did someone train you?" Saria asks. "My sensei did!" Zack shouts back. "Who is he?" Saria questions with curiosity. "My sensei was Link." Zack states. Shock reaches this female warrior. She repeated one word over and over again. "Was...was...was..." Then, she jumps to the top and begins to attack. Zack was unguarded and feels the blows weaken him. Finally, Saria comes from behind and tries a Stunning Fist. Zack turned, seeing this coming, and kicks her away. Zack rushes to her and swings his sword at her, cutting her hair. She falls to the ground. Zack is there and points his sword at her. "We're done!" Zack shouts in excitement. Mido gets up from behind and says "I admit defeat." Zack puts away his sword and calmly asks Mido "Where is the Kokiri Village?" "Touch the tree runk," Mido answered, "It will get you there." Saria, already up, touches Zack and says "You're sensei's Link?" "Yeah." Zack says. "We'll have to talk. I'll see you in the back of the village." Saria says. A flash comes and she goes. Zack decides to touch the tree trunk. A light gradually appears. Please review. I can't continue if no one replies that they want to read more...
