Zelda's Quest (my first and only fanfic)

Zelda's Quest
Chapter 1

This fanfic takes place at the end of Ocarina of Time, but instead of Link defeating Ganondorf he lost. Though during that fight Zelda escaped and that were the fanfic begins.
Zelda slowly opens her eyes. (She had been resting) She was outside Ganon's Castle and she was free! She got up and brushed herself off and suddenly remembers who was in Ganondorf's clutches instead of her. "Link!" she cried out. She must save him!
But how? She was no where near ready to fight Ganondorf. She must learn to fight! But all the Great Fairies were killed in Ganondorf's wrath. She sat down on a rock outside the Temple of Time and thought. Suddenly the Triforce of wisdom lit up on her hand and she remembered that Rauru had taught her a spell. A spell allowing her to enter the Sacred Realm without the items that Link had in his possession. She walked to where the Master Sword once was and cast the spell.

Zelda's Quest
Chapter 2

The Sacred Realm was just as she remember, blue everywhere! Rauru was standing at the edge and looking at something in the distance. He turned around and says. "Ah Zelda, I've been waiting for you." "You have?" asked Zelda. "The hero of Time failed
And you're our last hope. Now go train." Suddenly a blue cylinder came around her. Zelda started to panic. "What's Happening?"
She thought.
The blue cylinder disappeared and she was back in the Temple of Time. She looks down at herself and she was 10 again!
Then she goes outside to see that Ganondorf's guards were everywhere most likely looking for her. She dodged from building-to-building alley-to-alley until she made it to the outer wall and out the over the open drawbridge. She stopped to rest for a moment
Then ran towards Lon Lon Ranch where she could get a horse.

Hey its good! it grasps the readers attention. I can imagen all that from playing OoT. Good Job!

Zelda's Quest
Chapter 3

Zelda had never been to Lon Lon Ranch before, but Link had told her many things about it. It was just as she had pictured it.
It had to the right of the entrance a stable for the cows and horses. And to the left there was a house for the cuckoos and the family.
And in the center of Lon Lon Ranch there was a big fenced in area and a track for the horses. Zelda decided to ask the owner if she could borrow a horse. Zelda went out into the field where the horses were. In the middle of the field was a small ginger haired girl about Zelda's age singing. Zelda ran up to her and the little girl bowed and said. "Princess Zelda, what brings you here?" "You don't have to be so formal. Get up." "I came here to see the owner." said Zelda. "Well my father is the owner of Lon Lon Ranch, but he's not here." said the little girl. “May I ask your name?" asked Zelda. "My name is Malone." answered the little girl. "Well Malon, I'm guessing you're in charge, I'd like a horse." said Zelda. "Well if it's a horse you want then we'd better get you one." said Malon as she walked over to the stables and went inside. "Pick one you like." said Malon. Zelda went down the rows until she found a beautiful white horse named Rennpherd which malon told her meant race horse. Zelda thanked Malon for the horse and was off to Gerudo Training Grounds to master archery.

Zelda's Quest
Chapter 4

Normally Zelda would have never set foot in Gerudo territory (Gerudos are a group of thieves living in the desert), but this was the best place to master archery. Before going over the bridge Zelda changed her clothes so that the Gerudos wouldn't recognize her and jumped back on Rennpferd and crossed the bridge. She didn't get far when a group of Gerudos on horseback blocked her path. "Hey!" said Zelda. A Gerudo answered. "To pass into our village you'll have to beat one of us in a horse race, unless you think you can beat one of us at archery." Zelda quickly replied. "I'll take the horse race challenge. Who will I be racing?" "You will be racing one of the few boys in our village..." A boy about Zelda's age and his horse stepped forward. "Lysol." the Gerudo finished. "Ready to race?" Lysol asked. "I guess so. Where will we be racing to?" "From the end of the bridge to the steps of Kakariko." answered a Gerudo as Lysol, Zelda, and the rest of the Gerudos went across the bridge and set up the starting point. Two Gerudos went ahead to the steps to see the winner. Zelda started coaching her horse. "I know this is probably your first race, but I believe in you. Do your best. And if for anything else do it for me." Zelda got on Rennpferd and got in ready position. A Gerudo stepped forward with a red flag and said. "Ready." Both Zelda and Lysol leaned forward. “Set, go!" Both shot from the starting point and zoomed out of Gerudo Valley and into Hyrule Field. Up ahead Zelda saw a ledge with two roads on the left and right sides of it. Lysol started to turn to the left. Zelda a chance to get ahead and took it. She jumped off the ledge. Rennpferd was a little shaky, but she landed safely. She was now a little ahead of Lysol. "Faster!" Zelda whispered in Rennpferd's ear, but Lysol had already caught up. They had just past Lon Lon Ranch when Lysol took out his bow and started shooting arrows at Rennpferd's feet. "Hey, that's not fair!" Zelda yelled. One of the Gerudos that had been following them the whole time yelled. "He's allowed!"
"So sabotage is allowed." Zelda said to herself with a grin. She conjured up a spell, but didn't cast it just yet. They were nearing the bridge that crossed over the Zora's River. Lysol could cross, but the arrows had driven Zelda too far away from the bridge. So with one magnificent jump Rennpferd crossed the Zora's River. In mid-jump Zelda cast the spell on Lysol's horse and instead of going to the right towards the steps Lysol's horse went to the left. "No you stupid horse!" Lysol yelled as as they both crashed into a wall. Zelda made it past the steps making her the winner. The Gerudos came up to her and said. "You are worthy of entering our village. You rode like a true Gerudo."

It is good I hope you make more chapters

This is good and it has an interesting plot. The beggining could've been longer though but overall it was good.

I love it, I've always thought that Zelda should do somthing besides get captured all the time! hehe
