[ZGen]The Legend of Zelda: True Force(T)

Hello to all. As some of you no doubt no I currently have another fanfic going that is a sequel both to TP and MM. However I have decided to start another one that takes place in a new more interesting era. I am talking about the future! This tale will be set several centuries after any previous games(I'm not quite sure what timeline it will be in yet).

Warning: The prologue might be slightly graphic for some of you. Just thought I'd add this as a disclaimer. And now without further fanfare:

Prologue: Infusion

Nestled on the foothills of a mountain range was a large metal structure. Within the structure existed a complex research facility. At this very moment one of the rooms was filled with a large amount of activity. Men clad in black lab coats rushed around the room operating various machines. On an operating table in the room was a small child crying.

"Well, are we ready?" asked one of the men.

"Let's begin," replied another.

The man walked over to a control panel and started a machine that was hanging above the child. As several of the men monitored the machine and the child's vitals a few more men began to work the machine. The child cried out as it was hit with a bolt of energy while two men worked frantically to inject several vials of liquid into him as fast as possible.

One of the men watching the monitors that showed the child's heart rate swore and shouted, "Heart rate rising!"

"Administer a suppressant we're almost finished!" ordered another man as he grabbed another hypodermic needle.

"It's no good the child can't take this! We have to stop the operation!"

"If we stop now the child won't survive anyway! Just administer the suppressant and keep working!"

"Brain function flucuating!" shouted a third man. "Dropping we're losing him we're..."

He was cut off by a loud beeping sound as the child's heart stopped. The men looked at each other before the leader walked out of the room in disgust.

"It seems you've failed again," taunted a man that had been watching the whole thing from outside the room.

"Leave me alone!"

"Oh but the chairman is going to be very interested when he hears about this. What's that the third in the past two weeks?"

"Enough!" cried the man in exasperation.

"Look I'm just pointing out at this rate you won't have any funding at all."

"I'm well aware of that!"

"Has anyone under the age of seven even survived this operation?"

The man stopped walking and turned to him, "There was one," he whispered.

"Take me to him."

They walked through a large prison like room. On either side of the hallway were cells holding horribly mutated human creatures. Some of them didn't even look human anymore. At last they came to a door at the end of the hall that was sealed shut with three large metal locks. The man peered inside through a small hole and glimpsed a young boy no older than seven with short blond hair and light blue eyes sitting inside. He looked up and stared at the man with cold hate filled eyes.

"So this boy survived?"

"Yes of the five initial subjects he alone survived. What you're looking at is project L."

"L?"

"Link."

i like the idea very creative, but i don't think it fits into the Zelda universe
thats just me if you make into a totally different thing like a graphic novel
that has nothing to do with Zelda then i would read it definitely

I really like the idea of this. really cant wait to see more.

Chapter One: Castions

Several days after meeting the boy Zaroffon, as he was called, was being shown how the boy performed by the head scientist known only as, The Director. While they watched Link fight another child that looked to be about thirteen the Director decided to begin.

"As I'm sure you are aware the strength of most Force Soldiers starts to wane around their fourteenth birthday. This is because after seven years their body has pretty much burned off the excess energy. However this child is special. Not only did he survive the infusion as an infant but somehow the fact that he possessed this energy almost from birth allowed his body to adapt to it better and continually create it throughout his life."

"So, the energy is staying consistent?" asked Zaroffon.

"No, it's actually growing," explained the Director as Link land a hard punch to the other boy's cheek and knocked him across the room.

"Remarkable," whispered Zaroffon.

Later that night the two men sat down to dinner and discussed business.

"So what do you think of my research station?" asked the Director.

"It's very good. The only problem is you're not producing results."

"But you saw the boy! He's certainly worth investing in!"

"He would be if you could prove to me that there will be others like him."

"We're working on it."

"Do you know how long you've been in operation Director?" without waiting for an answer he continued, "Ten years. Now in those ten years you've made two significant advances. Development of the Force Soldiers which was accomplished in one year and has remained pretty much at a stand still. The other development is the creation of this boy who, while he is a very worthy creation, is the only one of his kind. Now as I said you either produce another one like him or your funding is gone!"

The Director was about to say something when the lights turned red and a loud alarm blared "Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert! All Force Soldiers to assigned positions! This is not a drill! Repeat this is not a drill!"

The Director bolted from his chair and ran through the halls with Zaroffon close behind him.

"What's going on!" he cried as they entered a large pure white room.

"Three intruders are making their way through the building. We're not sure but they might be Castions."

"Damn!" shouted the Director as he stared at a hologram of the complex.

"Sir they're heading for sector L!"

"They're after the boy!" cried the Director.

Link sat in his cell wondering what all the yelling was about. Suddenly there was a loud explosion and the door to his cell blew off its hinges. Link sat there staring in shock as three men entered the room. The first was of average height and build and wore a suit of robotic armor. Another was tall and wielded twin swords. The final one had a very large build and in place of a hand had what looked like a gatling gun.

"Hello there Link!" exclaimed the armored man, "It's nice to finally meet you!"

man, this is good. I'm assuming the director and Zaroffon are the bad guys... Definitely a good start.
