THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: ENTITY OF DARKNESS


PROLOGUE:


There are many dark legends in Hyrule but none as great as this, long ago before Ganondorf there was an even greater evil that threatend to destroy everything, he was referred to as the god of darkness an evil deity with tremendous power bent on the destruction of the world, he was known as Amorphous. But Amorphous was not always evil, long before then he onced lived in the heavens with the other gods and served under the three goddesses of Din, Nayru, and Farore.

But the day eventually came when Amorphous grew tired of serving the three goddesses and wanted to choose his own path, the path that he chose was to overthrow the three goddesses and to become the supreme god of the heavens and the universe. Amorphous's decision ran so deep that it corrupted him and made him murder three gods who resided in the heavens. Apparently Amorphous thought that by killing them he would be strong enough to kill the goddesses. Din, Nayru, and Farore then confronted Amorphous and punished him severely for his sins by stripping him away of his divinity powers and banished him from the heavens.

However that did not stop Amorphous, unbeknowest to the goddesses a fraction of his power still remained. Amorphous used what little power he had to create servants of his own known as the dark interlopers. With hundreds of dark interlopers at his command Amorphous started a massive war to claim dominion over the heavens now know as the Sacred Realm to exact his revenge upon the goddesses. When Amorphous and his servants were near in victory of the war and was on the brink of conquering the Sacred Realm, the three goddesses had intervened and finished off Amorphous by sealing him away into the abyss of Hyrule.

Several centuries had then passed and the spirit of the god of darkness still remains in the depths of Hyrule.

Chapter 1

Link is riding through the Faron Province of Hyrule on his trusty steed Epona to go and see Zelda in Hyrule Castle. When he enters into Hyrule field a huge cloud of smoke radiates in the Lanayru Province, wandering of what is happening Link quickly goes to the Lanayru Province of Hyrule. When he arrives Link is shocked to see Hyrule castle ablazed.

Link: (gasps) ... the castle... ZELDA!!!!!

Concerned as he was Link quickly ran inside the burning castle and sees corps of Hyrulean soldiers all over the place. He began to worry even more and ran as fast as he could to get to the top of the castle.

As he kept running he was soon blocked off by a strange dark creature that he had never seen before.

Link: You're in the way

Link draws his sword and defeats the creature. When he finally makes it to the top of the castle he sees Zelda lying unconsious

Link: ZELDA!!!!

he runs towards her, but stops when he sees three people hiding within the shadows

Link: Who are you!?
no response
Link : Answer me!

They then reveal thereselves to Link and looks almost identical to him, it was then clear to Link that it was the dark interlopers who had caused this destruction.

Dark Interloper # 1: Well well look who showed up, isn't this a pleasent suprise.
Dark Interloper #2: Hmhp I'm afraid that he's a little too late though.
Dark Interloper #3: It's too bad that he couldn't have been here earlier.

Link: What have you done to Zelda!

Dark Interloper #2: Hmmph nothing yet, but if you really want to know what we're going to do with her then come and visit us at the bottom of this land.

Without a moment's hesistation, Link quickly drew both his sword and shield and charged at the three interlopers.

Dark Interloper #1: Hmph so you want to test us huh? well then allow us to show you a glimpse of our power.

The dark interlopers slowy raised there hands at Link and fired a blast of their dark power which had suddenly paralyzed him.

Link: Ughh... I can't move

Dark Interloper #2: Like I said, if you really want to know what we plan to do with your precious Zelda, then come and visit us in the abyss of Hyrule.

With that being said the three dark interlopers vanished in an instant taking Zelda with them, and had left Link to die in the burning castle.

Chapter 2

Helpless to do anything Link begins to fade away from the smoke from the flames. The flames had then began to surround him and had become more ferocious.

Link: cough... cough... this... isn't good I... can't move my body.

The ceiling of the room begins to give away and Link falls unconsious from inhailing to much smoke. When the end had seemed near for Link a sudden flash of light had appeared, and in the next minute he was out of the castle.

Link: Ughhh... huh? what? I'm out of the castle?

Lanayru: It seems that you are coming around.

Link: Huh?, Lanayru? I take that you're the one who saved me

Lanayu: Yes I did

Link: Thanks I owe you one. You've seen it right, Hyrule Castle being attacked by them

Lanayru: Yes the three dark interlopers have returned to the world of light

Link: But why, what do they want, what are they planning to do with Zelda

Lanayru: (sighs) I... was afraid this day would come

Link: What do you mean?

Lanayru: I believe that they are trying to use princess Zelda as a sacrifice to bring their master back.

Link: Their master

Lanayru: Link have you ever heard the legend of Amorphous?

Link: Amorphous? who's Amorphous?

Lanayru: I didn't expect you to know, Amorphous is a powerful deity who had betrayed the gods long ago. He was so consumed with power that he tried to overthrow the goddesses and become the supreme ruler of everything. However he failed to defeat the goodesses and was banished from the heavens. Soon enough he sought to have his revenge upon the goddesses and created the dark interlopers to help him finish what he started. But then the goddesses had intervened and sealed him away into the depths of Hyrule. And now the interlopers are trying to break the seal on their master. But in order for that to happen they need a proper sacrifice, and that is why they need the princess. But they also need one more thing and that would be the Fused Shadows.

Link: Why do they need those?

Lanayru: Because they are planning to use those to restore Amorphous's power

Link: And... how long have you've known about this!?

Lanayru: (hesitating) For... quite some time.

Link: So You knew that this was going to happen!!!? Why didn't any of you tell me about this sooner, I could have stopped it from happening

Lanayru: None of us figured that we would have to, we thought that it wasn't going to happen because you defeated Ganondorf and brought peace to the world, but unfortunately... we were wrong, please forgive us.

Link: I guess there's no point in getting mad about it, well how do I get into the abyss of Hyrule, how do I stop them

Lanayru: It is not that simple Link, beneath Hyrule lies the Sanctuary of Darkness and to enter you need the three shadow crystals that the three interlopers have spread throughout Hyrule. Also Link you must not let them get the Fused Shadows from the Twilight Realm or else Amorphous will be reborn and will not stop at abything to destroy the world.

Link: But the Fused Shadows, there with Midna right?

Lanayru: Yes this will mean that you will have to convince Midna to give them to you.

Is all of the story or is there more?

Oh yeah there is definetly more I just have to think about it. I barely get to use the computer so it may take me awhile but be patient it will be done.
