What I find funny.

What I find funny,
Is how we can laugh
At the girl who wears black,
But smile at the girls who wears next to nothing.

What I find funny
Is how we can bully
The girl who sits in a corner, and reads
But smile at the girls who bully her

What I find funny
Is how we can make fun
Of the girl who cuts herself,
Tell her, she does it for attention
When we really don’t know
Why she does it.
But smile at the girls who tan themselves to look pretty

What I find funny
Is how we can put someone down
Just because of the way they look.
Why do we do it?
To fit in.

What I find funny
Is how you all express your own feelings,
But when someone else expresses theirs.
You laugh at them, you bully them
Then you feel no guilt when they DO kill themselves
Even though it was because of you.

That was very powerful.
Is this symbolizing emotional people?

I do hope that this isn't from your own personal experiences. But I agree with Solink, it is very powerful. And how true as well.

But, just a few things:

What I find funny

Just a typo I'm sure. The period makes it make no sense. And, if you were trying to have a rhyme scheme, it doesn't work well, or really at all. But if not, then never mind

It's directed towards everyone who doesn't fit in with everyone else.
Yeah, I wasn't really paying attention there, these aren't from personal experiences, just things I see people do, and I'm sick of it.

I think that gothic girl you speak of needs a gold rupee...I mean hug.

Wow... that last line reminded me of a song I like... actually a bunch, from the same artist. >>
Is it about unrequited love? Anyways it's really elaborate and beautiful, just like the first one! You put it down really nicely, and like the other one there are some parts in this that I can relate to too.

Haha, well I wasn't implying that he was.. not that you were implying that I was... okay now my brain hurts, never mind that. The guy I meant doesn't even sing in english anyway. I really poured a lot into this, I didn't really focus on the form and style of the poem, I just wanted to get my message across,


I hope you guys enjoy it.




I try to be everything you want me to be
But yet, you ask for more and more.
Your destroying me, why can't you see?
You act like raising me is just a chore.

But it's always about him,
He's gotta be the golden boy
My emotions are filled to the brim,
Please don't treat them like a toy.

You tell me to grow up, to be a man,
But you look at him, and let him exist.
And I am doing the best that I can
He gets it all, But I must subsist.

I do so much, he does so little,
He has nothing, I have a plan,
So why do I feel so belittled?
It must be some twisted riddle.

I hope your happy Dad,
I hope you like the favorite game,
But your driving me mad,
and causing so much pain.

But when I think about it,
Your the one who needs to be a man,
And I doubt that you can admit,
But right and wrong shouldn't come hand in hand.

Maybe one day you can see the truth,
And maybe you'll be sorry for this all,
Maybe you won't, Maybe you'll destroy my youth,
And from now on, I'm going to have to crawl.

I am only going to ask that you don't ask why,
Because you've known all along this is true,
And I hope you'll lay in bed at night and cry,
