Lakayal and Safer have come together to forge a comical rendition of... well, we'll let you all figure it out. DISCLAIMER: To anyone who gets it, we say "No offense, but you walked right into it." Now, please enjoy this comedy from the world of Lakayal and Safer. LULZ!

Narrator: Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Link. After he'd become the hero of time and sealed away Ganondorf in the Sacred realm, he and Navi were pretty much just hanging around in Hyrule Castle Town when Link came up with an utterly brilliant plan.

Link: Navi, I've been thinking. Clearly, I have a great sense of humor and clearly I have one of the most vastly creative minds in all of Hyrule.

Navi: Ehm. Okay, I'll humor that notion.

Link: Right. So as I was saying, I think I should go into stand-up comedy.

Navi: * gags * You're joking, right?

Link: No. Seriously, I can be funny. I've been thinking a routine up, and everything. Okay, okay, how's this…

Navi: Oh god, here is comes…

Link: Why does Ingo work for Talon?

Navi: * scowling * I give. Why?

Link: Because they're GAY! Hahaha. You get it? Get it? Isn't that funny?

Navi: …What?

Link: They’re gay! Homos! They love eachother so they work together. *giggles* Aren’t I a stitch?

Navi: That’s… ridiculous.

Link: Oh shut up, I’m funny and I know it!

Narrator: Later that evening, Link and Navi found the Open Mic Night within the Hyrule Castle Market. After paying a nominal fee for entry, Link stood up to the mic and laughed.

Link: Haha… oh wait, hehe… sorry… hah… I have this joke in my head that I want to tell… but--*snort*--haha it’s so funny! Okay. OKAY. *breathes* What word do I fear the most?

Audience: Zoh My Gods, what?

Link: *points to Navi* HEY! HEEEEY! THAT’S WHAT!! HEY!!! HAR HAR. Navi’s so annoying because she thinks she’s so smart and can tell me what to do! Isn’t that hysterical?

Audience: Haha! *several people fall over laughing*

Navi: *raises eyebrow* How is my trying to help you funny? I mean hell, even if I were in the audience I wouldn’t have found that funny… why do you laugh at the word ‘hey’…?

Link: OHMYGOD! OH MY GODDD! Did you hear that?! Did you hear that?! She just said it again!!!!1!1!!one!1!1eleven!1!1

Random Audience Turd: LOLYA!!!! this is da best comedy ever plz post more UHM, I MEAN plz do moar lol

Link: Okayokayokay. Here we go… Why are Zoras swim?!

Audience: I D K, Y?!?!?!?!

Link: Because… they can't walk, because *gigglesnort* they're WEAK! I mean have you seen those things?! Haha, they're just so WEAK you just slap them and they're like SWOOSH!

Audience: hahahahahaha! Moar! Moar! Moar! Moar!

Narrator: and so Link's first comedy act, although it was brief, was a big success. After the show, when he had finished signing autographs for his newly-acquired entourage or annoying fangirls, a talent agent approached him.

Agent: Hello, Link. My name is Roberto Clements Lemons Scwitcz. But you can call me Bob.

Link: AHAHA! You're named BOB! Hahahaha… Bob is such a funny name. It's not overused in a comedic sense at ALL. *gasping laughter* heh… Bob…

Bob: Anyway… As I said, I'm Bob, and I'm a talent agent. I've got to tell ya, kid, I liked what I saw tonight! I did I did I DID! And I'll be damned if I don't get you your own routine this weekend at the Giggling Goron this Saturday night!

Narrator: And so it was that Frodo took the ring to Mordor and—****, I mean, Link went to the Giggling Goron with Navi. Standing at the mic, our young Hylian Hero sees his audience is massive, with TV cameras from Comedy Central aiming directly at his face.

Link: Lol hi everybody!

Audience: OH MY LORDZ IT BE LINK! LINK! HE COME TO TOWN!

Link: Come to save the princess Zelda, *****! ANYWAY LULZ, how is everyone?

Audience: WERE GRATE LINKZU!

Link: AMAZING!!!! Okay suu… why does the Goron fall down the hole?

Audience: LOL Y LINKU???

Link: CUZ UR MOM PUSHED HIM!

Navi: …You’re… You’re kidding. You have to be kidding.

Audience: LMAO!!!

Navi: *looks at audience* What are you all compelled by?! What is it that makes you find this funny?

Audience: …

Link: …

Navi: Hey! Listen to m—

Audience: HAHAHAHA!!1!!111!oneone!!!!!!11111eleventyzero1!!! !!!!!11!11!!1

Link: Hey… hey what if… hey GUYS what if Ganondorf was gangsta!?!?! He'd be like SUIP GUYS! YO! I'm gunna take ove da Hyruuuule DOGS yo da hoz!

Audience: *still cracking up*

Narrator: At the after party…

Zelda: Oh Link… you really know how to make a girl laugh… *kisses him*

Malon: So right… *kiss*

Saria: Oh LINK… MARRY me… *mwah mwah *

Link: LOL lots of girls fighting over me! I've never seen this before! It's so hilarious! All the girls like me! Ahahaha. When have I ever seen this before?!

Navi: Err, in half a dozen awful ZeLink Fanfictions?

Link: What?

Navi: Oh… nothing…

Narrator: Navi then flew into Link’s hat, curling up in shame.

I see. This is a commentary on all the people who are making parodies.

And that's from my parody, right? Because I obviously didn't put ANY effort at all into making rap lyrics for Ganondorf. Just that stuff.

...So, I guess it was a funny parody of parodies, if that's what you were trying to accomplish. If it isn't, though, tell me what you were really trying to do.

Because, in a way, it's an insult to those of us who actually do put time and effort into these parodies, and try not to make it one lame joke after another.

I actually didn't read your parody past chapter three because I didn't have time, just all the others.

Actually an honest coincidence, which no one would probably ever buy considering how odd it sounds. But I was just saying to Safer- honest to God, ask him if you'd like- that yours was the only funny one I've read to date, and most of the ones that copied yours were not.

But I'm not sorry we made it in the first place, when you take into account that all the serious fanfictions are getting pushed into the background by not just yours, but MOUNDS of other script format parodies, some with absolutely no regard for spelling, grammar and nothing but bathroom, sex, and unfunny non-sequitor humor.

Thanks I remember when I was *more of* a newbie, coming to this subforum and seeing all the gazillion serious threads, and doubting whether a parody would be suitable here... I even PMed Lioness about it to get permission.

You know, this "parody" really relates to GameFAQs. About a month ago, every Tom Dick and Harry were churning out really, REALLY bad parodies- and what's worse, they were all about OOT, so they had a grand total of 0 original jokes. It was quite painful to read... Although, the parodies here are much better than that.
