Zgen: The Wind Waker remix (I'd suggest 13+ not 10 years olds)

First off, as soon of you may or may not know, I did a ZuWrMo story, but dropped out because of time. Although I did, I liked the story, and I have a few good ideas. So, instead of wasting it, i'm gonna continue it here. Now, I wouldn't rate this G or T. Sometimes I may include extreme bloodshed, especially when people die. I may also, now this one isn't definite, some sex in it. I'll just mention it, no detail, besides maybe someone screaming, but thats all. So far, I only have Ganon bleeding in one scene, but not much. But you have been warned what may appear. Please, give me comments and critisism, I don't want little 1 line sentences saying this sucked or this was cool/funny. I want to improve and 1 sided comments don't help. Also, the rest of this post was written in WriMo as I said, which is quantity before quality. Remember that, but the rest will be better. If I get 1 or 2 comments, I will most likely continue before the day is over. One more thing! When I want a character to think it will be like "Are you ready yet? (jeez, he takes forever to get dressed!)". Thinking is in paranthesis(sp?). I may also want you to be hearing certain music in scenes. That will have a link {In these}. You will see {{{}}}<--that when I want you to get rid of that music. Without any more delay:

The Legend Begins

It was a regular peaceful day at Outset Island. One of the islanders, A kid named Link, had a birthday. He was dreaming of defeating a great evil and saving the world. He was delivering the final blow to a creature, when he was awoken. "Big Brother!" yelled a small girl's voice.

Link thought to himself "I'm too tired to get up," and he fell back asleep. The smell and taste of sea air filled his mouth. The wind blew gently, and the sun shown bright. The sound of something hitting wood rang in his ears. His Sister, Aryll, was coming up.

"I see you, Link! Grandma wants you back at the house. You should head over there now." Link mumbled, but got up. He yawned as he entered the house. It was a very pleasant house. It smelled like fresh air, the sun shown brightly in the window, and Link could smell something delicious. Thats when he noticed his Grandma was making his favorite soup, Elixir Soup. His mouth watered as he walked over to the table.

"Good morning grandson! The soup will be done in a few minutes, and afterwards I have something for you." His Grandma then took out a bowl and waited for the soup to finish. Aryll came in just as it finished. She just wanted to let them know she'll be up in the watch post. "Ahh...the soup is ready." Grandma poured the soup in the bowl. Link ate the soup, his mouth tingled and he felt like he was in heaven. His Stomach felt light, like it could hold a ton. He soon finished all the soup and let out a loud belch, his Grandma told him thats bad, and he apologized.

"Well, I told you I wanted to give you something. Wait here while I grab it from upstairs." Link waited, but something was bothering him. "Here it is, Link, do you know what this is?" She was holding up a green garmet with boots, a belt, and hat. He turned his head left and right. "You see, many ages ago there was a mighty hero. He saved the entire land from destruction and brought the land light. But for some reason, he left the land and soon it came to destruction. You are now the age of that hero, and will wear this for 1 day."

"It seems...weird. Do I really need to wear it?" Link asked.

"Yes, you must. It's just for one day, you never need to wear it again." His Grandma replied. Link put on the garmet and walked outside. He took in a deep breath when the tranquility of the island was broken by the sound of cannon fires. Link looked at the sea, and saw that a giant bird was holding something and a pirate ship was chasing it. He watched cannonball after cannonball hit the sea and small parts of the island. He saw the bird turn around, and get hit in the face with a cannonball. The bird dropped what look like a girl into the forest at the top of the island. Aryll was at the watch post watching it all.

He was about to head up there when something shining caught his eye. He turned to a small bush and searched it. He picked up a small sword and examined it. It was a small sword, it was sharp, but still a little dull. It felt like it was a little rusty, and smelled like grass. He concluded that it was most likely there for awhile. He found a holder for the sword nearby and headed up to the bridge. He cut a tree or two going up there and caused a rope to break off. He entered the small wooded area where he saw the girl get dropped. He climbed a log and walked a bit more and he came to a moth-like creature. It turned quickly, exposing its back, and he striked it. He slayed it and went on.

He saw the girl hanging from a branch, and went over to her. He was shocked when he heard a loud "caw" from the sky. He looked up and saw 2 large moblins being dropped by birds. He quickly backflipped to avoid being hit by one of the spears. The other did a swipe attack that brought Link to his back. They both tried to stab him, but he rolled out of the way just in time. They stabbed in the same place, so they both dropped their spears. Link noticed this, and had an idea. He would defeat them by having them defeat each other. One of them was standing behind the other, he provoked the one in back to take a swing at him. It wound up hitting the other one, which dropped its weapon and went flying. Link went between the two and faced the one that went flying. It got up and chased him, it didn't have a weapon though. Link got the weaponless one to attack him, he dodged each one and they all landed on the other one. He rolled forward and turned, the one with the spear attacked and the other punched. They went flying and were defeated, then Link went over to the girl.

He looked at her and she woke up. She kicked and punched, which caused the branch to break. She looked at him a little stunned when someone yelled "Tetra!". A pirate was looking at them and ran to them. He told them that Link saved her from monsters while she was knocked out. She didn't seem to care, and the 3 of them walked out of the forest. Link smiled when he saw Aryll and the other side. She happily walked across and got about halfway. Suddenly, the gigantic bird came back and took Aryll in its claws. Without thinking, Link grabbed his sword and started to run. He ran, not caring about what was below, his love for his Sister made him run. Tetra and the pirate tried to grab him, but failed.

Link didn't know what was happening. Colors were flying and whizzing around him, he felt like he hit his head on rock, and heard voices. He heard a voice much louder than the others, it sounded holy and friendly. It said "Beware of the Red Orb...the Fire Orb....beware..." The next second he was lying in his bed. He felt fuzzy, but could see the 2 pirates and his Grandmother standing next to the bed.

"That was pretty brave of you, kid. You risked your life to try and save your sister, you should have known you couldn't get a flying bird." Tetra said coldly to him. His Grandmother had a very said look on her face, because Aryll was taken. Link went back to sleep after this, and rested for the next week or so. He was all better and ready to do what he had to do.

Part 2, eavesdropping


He tried to tell the two pirates to wait, but his voice wasn't loud enough. They left and soon left the island. His Grandmother was still sad and he thought she couldn't help him. Luckily, the pirates told him that the bird was heading North, to the Forsaken Fortress. He had no boat, and didn't know how on Earth he would be able to get there. It was almost dark, so he had to think. He recovered completly, his Grandmother gave him a shield, but he needed a boat. Then, he remembered some strange guy on a boat that circles the island. At night, he is always at the docks. He told his Grandma, who broke into tears, knowing she may never see her grandchildren again.

He put on the Green outfit, took a bottle of soup, and went outside. The island smell changes with no sun, it smells terrible on the island. The moon shines brightly howver, so he found the docks without a problem. He entered the boat, it was small, smelled like spices, and he saw it didn't look very comfortable.

"Welcome! What can I do for you today? I have a lar--" he was cut off.

"I need to go North, to the Fortress. If you don't take me, i'll be forced to take the boat." Link said boldly.

"Hahahahaha! Such a little boy, thats cute, now please buy something or leave." Beedle said.

"Well, I guess its the hard way" Link sighed. He grabbed Beedle and threw him off the boat into the water, and headed North. It was a cold night. Link seemed to sense there was Evil somewhere, a great Evil. He would be correct, and within ten minutes, he reached the fortress. He hard rumors of how heavily guarded it is, but for some reason all the lights were deactivated. He made it inside without a problem and then looked at the main tower. He saw the giant bird, a half of a ship, and seagulls near a window. He knew that must be where Aryll is being kept. He wandered through the Fortress, always keeping his guard, as he went towards the tower. He got in and started going to the top. He came to a door and entered. There was a cage, but no prisoners.

This puzzled him. He saw a ramp going up to the top, which he climbed. At the top was a large platform, and the bird nearby. He snuck past and went to the weird ship-like structure at the top. He knew the fortress leader would be in there. He came to a small hole in it, and looked through it to see what was inside. He saw a man in purple, a black-redish person, and a man in blue robes.

"So, did the kid fall for the trick?" Said the man in blue robes.

"Yes, Ganondorf. He thought we were just pirates trying to save a young girl. Luckily, my magic disquises worked perfectly. He has no idea it was actually myself and Dark Link." Replied the man in purple.

"Excellent, Vaati, and Dark Link. Now tell me how the search for the portal to the negative-sacred realm went." Ganondorf commanded.

"Well, we managed to find old Hyrule underwater. Dark Link here says when he arrived, he came to Lake Hylia. There is a good chance that somewhere in there, we will find a way to open the portal. Once we do, we will notify you immediatly. You can send as many troops as you want to the closest island to it, Outset Island. I suspect, that Link should arrive here in about five or so days, seeing that he suffered much from the fall. Soon, you should have your minions start to patrol the castle, and out Aryll in the prison, so we can nab him. As for the portal, i'm aware you are an idiot, and therefor I will explain once again. The negative-sacred realm is the sacred realm of Dark Link's world. There, we will find the Black Triforce. It is much more powerful than the insignifigant Triforce of this realm. No matter who touches it, you recieve all three of its triangles, and three wishes. Once you have it, we shall be invincible! As a bounus, the is the Negative-Master Sword. Its like this world's Master Sword, but the Sword of Good's Bane. Anyone that tries to stop us will meet defeat using this sword. That is, unless you screw up, and Link stops us. Dark Link and I obtained the Green orb from the Deku-Tree. Dark Link will be heading to Greatfish Isle soon, to get the one from Jabun. Once he does, we will meet at Dragon Roost to get the last one. If you do as I said yesterday, if everything goes right, Link should meet that idiotic boat. They will go to Dragon Roost for the orb, and we will get them then." Vaati said.

"No need to make comments like "idiot" and what not, Vaati."

"Oh i'm so sorry. Next time, i'll remember who is more powerful." Chuckled Vaati. Dark Link smiled at him, and laughed at Ganondorf.

"Grrrr....i'll show you power!" Ganondorf showed his hand, calling upon he power of the Triforce of Power. He transformed himself into Ganon and walked towards Vaati. Dark Link leaned against the wall, as if he's seen this before. Vaati stood still, he didn't try to cast a spell or anything. When Ganon came closer, he took a swung, missed, and made a hole in the wall, with the large area of the fortress below. Dark Link jumped up to Ganon, and started swinging at his head, making Ganon bleed. Vaati started casting a spell while Dark Link kept him busy. Vaati cast the spell, and Ganon started to fall down to the bottom. An inch away, he suddenly stopped. Vaati was flying down and stood to his face.

"Now, a fall that high would have caused you to go unconcious, at such a powerful form. Consider yourself lucky I don't feel like killing you now." Vaati said fiercly. he dropped him and Ganon fell on his face. "Lets go Dark Link, we must prepare at Dragon Roost!" Link could hardly believe what was going on. He knew it would be very tough to stop those two. Ganon was very hurt, but he'd live. Link was about to go in, when the bird grabbed him by his beak. He tossed him to the east, and flew down to Ganon to help him. Link went unconcious, as he hit head first in the water.



Part 3: The boat and the plan


Link started to regain his conciousness. He looked ahead and could see a small island, and something coming towards him. He turned to get away, but a small whirlpool appeared and started sucking him in, and he fell unconcious again. He woke up, dazed, and inside a boat that was in a small cave-like area. He stood and was about to jump off, when a voice started to speak and startled him. Link looked around to see who was talking, and what shocked him was the boat's head turned and it was talking!

"Link, are you ok? Don't be afriad of me, I have come to help you," said the boat.

"Who are you?" Link asked.

"Well, I am the King of Red Lions, the only talking boat of this world. I saw you get sucked into the whirlpool and saved you. I'm sure you remember those three people at the Forsaken Fortress?" Link nodded. "Good, lets start out with Ganondorf. He was a powerful villan many, many years ago. He was sealed in the Sacred Realm, however, this seal broke. He got out, the people called for the hero that had helped seal him away, but he never came. The gods had no choice but to flood the land in order to stop him from controlling it so easily. The other one that looked like you is named Dark Link. He has been here since the beggining of the world. He is the "dark" or "negative" version of the great hero. He was defeated a long time ago, but has recently returned, much stronger than before. He can pretty much copy every move you can do, unless you use an item. The last and strongest of them is Vaati. He is a young socceror, wind mage to be more exact. He came from the near future using his dark powers. He was having trouble with the hero of this time, so came here to stop you, and take over. He and Dark Link are in an alliance, but Ganondorf is an idiot, i'm sure Vaati said that. He doesn't know it, but Vaati plans to betray him soon.' said the King of Red Lions.

"What am I to do about my sister, Aryll?" Link asked.

"That is simple. The only way you will ever defeat them is by using the Sword of Evil's Bane, better known as the Master Sword. It is beneath the ocean, but thats not untill later. We must find 3 orbs in order to raise a mighty tower. After thats through, and you are tested, you can get the sword. We will then use it to stop those three evil men. Aryll is in the Forsaken Fortress right now, but going there at the moment is murder for you. We must be off to Dragon Roost island, to get the first orb. First, you must find a sail....i'm afraid that while I can talk, I have no sails. Now be off!" The KIng of Red Lions told Link. While unconcious, Link forgot most of the conversation. He went up and into the town, and it was beautiful. It smelled so fresh, he couldn't believe it was an island. It was decorated greatly, and the people were very friendly. It was nearing Nightfall and Link felt like having a drink. He found the bar and finished his drink, when he heard a familiar laugh.

He turned to see Vaati and Dark Link at the other side of the bar. They were on the raised area, so Link snuck over and hid near the table.

"So, Vaati, when are we going to make the trip to Dragon Roost?" Dark Link asked.

"I was thinking of staying here at an Inn for a night, and around noon after lunch, we'd sail over there." Vaati replied.

"And what about Ganondorf, when do we get rid of that pest?" Dark Link asked again.

"Well, the idiot has no idea its all a lie about the Black Triforce and negative-sacred realm. The negative-Master Sword is real though. Once we capture Link at Dragon Roost, we shall head into old Hyrule and get into the portal we found. Once there, we can have some fun and grab the sword, head back to the prison, and do away with Link. We will tell the news to Ganondorf, and there we can dispose of him." Vaati told him.

"What shall we do, if Ganondorf is unable to stop Link, he gets the Master Sword, and hunts us?" Dark Link asked.

"Simple. We will disquise ourselves as his sister and another prisoner. Once he lets his guard down, we can kill him with a dagger, or if we have the Negative-Master Sword, use that. You and me will take over the Great Sea and make everyone our slaves." Vaati said. They both laughed and went to pay for their drinks. They headed downstairs and went into the Inn. Link knew he had to tell the King of Red Lions, he hoped he could help him.

Link ran out the door and rushed into the small cave where the King of Red Lions was waiting, dozing off a bit. Link waked it up and said "King of Red Lions! Its Vaati and Dark Link. They plan to kill Ganon and plan to go to Dragon Roost tommorow to set up a trap for me!"

"Its worse than I thought...Link, I found a villager that gave me a sail, now we must be off at once!" said the boat. Link jumped in and they started the sail over there. Almost as soon as they left Link heard a faint laugh from far away, though he didn't think much of it. About halfway to Dragon Roost the King stopped and turned to Link. "Link, here with me I have a legendary instrument. Its called The Wind Waker. It can control the wind, along with other magical songs. It should come in handy." Link toke it and nodded. In about a minute they arrived at the island, in the dead of night. The air there was alot more warmer, due to the volcano, as well as the water. Link jumped off and headed up the mountian to the Rito's small town.

He talked to the chieftan who said his son had the orb. Link felt a bit strange as he neared the door. (what if they are already here? But if they aren't, it may be my only chance.) He just hoped they stayed at Windfall like Vaati said. He opened the door where the Chief's son was lying on his bed. He said "Glad to see you have arrived! Please, take this orb and save the Great Sea! Let me know if you need anything."

Link toke it but the son acted weird, for the Chief also said that his son was a bit stubborn. Link ran back out and hopped onto the boat. "Excellent Link, you got the orb!" said the King of Red Lions.

"Yeah, now lets get out of here!"

"I'm afraid I cannot allow that." replied the boat.{http://www.thehylia.com/media/displa...bum=141&pos=49} Then, the boat shrank and glowed to show that it was Vaati in disguise! Link tried to run when Dark Link grabbed his leg and pulled him to the floor.

"You were a fool to try and get the orb." said Vaati. "You actually thought we'd tell our plan out loud in a bar? Heheheheh, I suspected you were an idiot, just like that idiot Ganon." Vaat looked at Link hard and said "I won't allow you to run freely. You shall be in a prison untill we return." And with that, Vaati formed a ball of energy and smacked Link with it. It was a portal that landed him in a small cell, nothing but a blanketless bed and 4 Iron Knuckle guards where in site. He was trapped, no way out.{{{}}}

Vaati and Dark Link arrived at Outset island within a few minutes. Vaati told Dark Link to wait next to a tree and he walke out to the docks. He raised both his hands and chanted a line in ancient Hylian. {http://www.thehylia.com/media/displa...bum=141&pos=43} Suddenly, the ocean water started to be pushed out of the way and created a massive whirlpool in the front of the island. Dark Link could see that he was pushing the water out of the way so they can walk down to Lake Hylia. {{{}}} In a few minutes a path was there and they both jumped down into the lake. They got onto a small rise near the middle of it and they grabbed eachothers arms and Dark Link chanted something in an unknown language.

A black portal opened and a grin appeared on Vaati's face. They jumped in and appeared in a negative looking world. It was inverted and in black and white. They arrived in front of the Negative Hyrule's Temple of Time. They walked in and stood in front of the door of time when Dark Link toke out an Ocarina. "Don't bother, i'll get it" said Vaati. He raised his hands again and blasted open the door. They walked up to the Negative-Master Sword. ((to the readers...it looks much like the Master Sword we know, but black instead of purple, grey in the blade, and the Triforce symbol isn't there.)) Vaati nodded at Dark Link and Dark Link grasped the N-Master Sword. He pulled it out and turned around. ((in the N-Hyrule, sages don't exist, so nothing happens.)) When he pulled it out, everyone who exists, Vaati and Dark Link, he negative citizens, and all those in regular Great Sea felt something like a 2 second Heart Attack. Dark Link wasn't too sure, he just shrugged; Vaati opened another portal and they appeared inside the Forsaken Fortress.

Link escapes, Ganon dies

Dark Link and Vaati stood in front of Ganon’s “office” so to speak. Dark Link said “So, do we get rid of the idiot Ganon now?”

“Yes, it is now time to get rid of him. Just let me do the talking.” Vaati replied. Vaati opened up the door and they both walked in.

“So, how did everything go?” Ganon asked. Dark Link and Vaati noticed blood all over him and his robes.

“Excellent sir. We found the portal near the old Water Temple and traveled through it. The portal is safe for travel, I suggest sending all your men to Outset right now. As for Link, you seemed to fail and we have him captured in my castle to the Southeast.” Vaati said.

“I though…that we were going to keep him here, in the fortress.” Ganon asked.

“Yes, that is what you thought. However, we no longer have any use for an imbecile like yourself!” Vaati replied to him. After he said that Dark Link jumped on Ganon and held him on the floor. Vaati laughed and said “You are such an idiot, you thought you were in charge? Fool!” Dark Link pressed Ganon against a wall and tied him there.

“Let me go Vaati! What do you want?” Ganon asked.

“Simple my dear Ganon, you dead!” With that said, Vaati took a dagger and stabbed him in the chest. He gave a look of terrible pain. He coughed up blood all over the floor and collapsed on the ropes, however he was still alive. “You see,” Vaati started, “I won’t allow your body to rot, you shall be useful after we get rid of Link. So, you shall be incased in stone!” Vaati grabbed the dagger In his chest and Vaati’s hand glowed red and blue. Ganon was slowly becoming stone, and in a few seconds he was. Vaati turned to Dark Link and said “We no longer have a use for being here. Lets go back to Windfall for a drink and food, and then return to my castle.” Dark Link nodded and they were off.

Meanwhile

Link felt there was no hope. There was no way out, and even if he did get out, he wasn’t equipped to fight the Iron Knuckles, let alone Dark Link and Vaati. He went onto the bed and lied there miserably. Only a god could save him. Suddenly, he heard the Iron Knuckles start running. There was a golden light flying through the small cell and other room, destroying the Iron Knuckles. It blasted the cell door and Link heard a voice.

“Young hero, you must stop the two evil ones from succeeding in controlling the Great Sea. We, the gods, Nayru, Farore, and Din grant you the Triforce of Courage. Ganon has the Triforce of Power and Zelda Wisdom. Take the sacred Triangle, when you do you shall arrive at old Hyrule to meet someone very important. Don’t let us down!” and the golden light smacked into Link, and he felt power rushing through him. A wind suddenly hit him and he felt dazed. He was soon standing in front of a giant statue with stairs in front of it. He stood and walked down them entering a room with a rise surrounded by water.

He walked up to the rise and a man in red stood there. “Hello, Link…you may know me as the King of Red Lions. Let me explain. After you went into the bar that wretched Vaati destroyed the boat. I had no way to contact you so I couldn’t warn you. Luckily the gods heard my prayer and brought you here. I know what you have seen and what Vaati and Dark Link planned. Behind me lies the sacred Master Sword. This sword has been used before to destroy evil. Only the hero reborned into another body can wield it. You are that hero, you can take the sword, and only you can save the Great Sea!
