Oprah Show Ending

Yes, it is great news indeed. I walking into the kitchen at just the right moment to hear that Oprah is ending her show next year. I have waited for this day for a long time, and am happy it is finally here.

Unforetuneately it does not go without bad news as well. Apparently my mom says she's probably going to start her own network. A whole network run by Oprah. God save us all...

What do you htink about this? Do you like Oprah or hate her as much as I do?

I've not seen most of the old ones, so my choice is limited.
But I choose David Tenent. He's funny, shows emotions well, and is just a great actor!

TV Show Series Finales That You Hated!

The TV show ending that pissed me off enough to inspire me to make this thread was Roseanne. But before I get into that, use spoilers like this so you don't spoil endings to shows that people actually want to watch. Alrighty then, here we go.

Roseanne:
Okay, so basically what happens in the series finale is that everything that happened from Dan's heart attack to this episode was all a lie; that Dan died from that heart attack at Darlene and David's Wedding, and they never, ever won the lottery. This was all made up in Roseanne's writing. She also made up Darlene and David being together, it wad Darlene and Mark, so that must mean that they got married on the day of Dan's heart attack. And Becky and David were married. What also really happened is that Roseanne's mom Beverly never turned gay, but Jackie did. And Dan neved cheated on Roseanne, he died, as said earlier. So Roseanne actually did begin to write in her "office." And that kinda screws everything up. It was going to be a happy ending to the series, but it turned out dissapointing. And it's too bad, cause I really liked that show. I still do, but it turned out to be ruined in the end. Everything got screwed with...

This is a Korean historical drama, which depicts a fictionalized account of Korea's first ruling queen.

The story takes place in the southeast Korean kingdom, Silla, which has been expanded by the late King Jinheung. An aristocrat named Mishil, whose power could rival a king's influence, desires to be queen. One opportunity comes when the wife of Jinheung's grandson, Jinpyeong, gives birth to twin girls. There was a prophecy saying that if a king has twin girls, the male seeds in the royal bloodline will dry up, in other words, no proper male heir. Mishil and the nobles on her side plan to expose the twins so they can remove the current queen and get Mishil that position. In order to prevent this, Jinpyeong sends his youngest daughter away with a clumsy palace maiden, though not without huge regrets (he's shown shaking when he carries his oldest daughter). The maid, Sohwa, manages to escape pursuit with the help of one of the hwarangs (Silla equivalent of knights), Munno, the strongest hwarang in Silla.

15 years later, the younger twin, named Deokman, grows up in the Taklaman Desert in China, where she lives in a merchant town with Sohwa. She is cunning, wily, and a tomboy. She meets Chilsuk, one of Mishil's men who was sent to find the younger twin, who has been trying to carry out his lady' orders for FIFTEEN YEARS. Chilsuk later realizes that Deokman is the twin and tries to capture her, but fails when a sandstorm strikes. Deokman resolves to go to Silla to find out why she was being pursued. When she arrives, she meets her older sister, Chunmyeong, and future Korean general Kim Yu-shin. Five years later Deokman learns that she's the daughter of the king who abandoned her, and Mishil once again tries to expose her, while a noble loyal to the king sends assassins to kill her. Chunmyeong tries to help her younger sister escape, but is accidently killed by one of Mishil's people. Deokman then resolves to get the royal court to reacept her as princess of Silla and fight Mishil in her struggle for power.

This series, is awesome. It's thrilling, emotionally addicting, and just can't get enough of this. The character Mishil is one of the most evil villains to a show I've seen, especially with her theme song. Most probably don't know about this show, but its just dang fun to watch. Check it out
