Artist Request (Non-OC Character Art)

First off, I may seem like a noob who is just trying to scam a good artist, but I actually am trying to get my post count up, and participate some more (I just joined like a week ago).

Now on to the subject of this request.

I am looking for a skilled artist would be willing to do several pieces of artwork (maybe even become the "Official" Concept Artist!) for a heavily AU fanfiction that I am writing of Ocarina of Time.

The artwork I would request would not be OCs, but my own designs on Zelda characters (as they are greatly changed in my fanfiction).

If you are curios as to my writing ability (because I doubt anyone would want to spend time and labor drawing something for a shi*ty story), I could send you a piece of the fanfiction, or link to my fanfiction.net account (although my fanfiction there is not Zelda related).

Not to advertise, but the fanfiction will be called The Path of Link: Maelstrom of Time (I'm pretty sure), and will be a huge AU of Ocarina of Time, with Hyrule changed and some plot twists that I doubt any of you will see coming. I'm about half way done writing the first chapter.

If you're interested in it, then just drop a link to some of your work. If want some more info, feel free to ask, I'll answer in a good 8 hours or so (I'm going to the bed at this moment).

I've been attempting to create Link for my sims 2 game. So far most of them didn't make me happy, but I think I finally have one I feel really confident about. I'd like to offer him as a download but I wanted to have him scrutinized by other Zelda fans first.

Need help choosing a Zelda Song

I am working on a Zelda based medley and the theme is the journey that Link takes. My current lineup is the following:

Dawn TWW
Outset Island TWW
Lost Woods OoT
Death Mountain/Goron City OoT
Queen Rutela's Theme TP
Hyrule Field TP
Hyrule Castle Third Floor TP

I am having trouble choosing the final piece, I was really really excited by the E3 2005 trailer of TP as I thought that was almost perfect for the ending, but unfortunately my piano skills are only so good and it would be like suicide for me to play it.

So now I am still stuck on finding something that sounds heavenly heroic. I want heroic like music as it will fit into the song, I want the Hyrule Castle Third Floor piece to increase tensions of the evil Ganondorf and then I want something to just completely obliterate it.

So. Here, I'm bored. Have some random and recent art of mine.

Me and the boyfriend. Decided to try and draw a nice contrast between the two of us. Because God knows, it's there. He has FOX ears. And what's on his pants is duct tape. It's commonly used in free-running [Parkour. aka, what Faith does in Mirror's Edge] to cut down air resistence, according to him. [he does Parkour] It's also commonly seen on Hunters from Left 4 Dead.

The drawing is going to be coloured. I have the colours figured out now, actually. I just have to get on it.

sorry in advance if this is in the wrong section but ive been trying to draw toon link for a while now and i cant get anything on him right if anyone has there own tutorial or sotmhing be a big help.

P.S. ive tried tons of other tutorials but there iether even harder or videos i can see properly. if you know any good tutorials on how to draw toon link or in his style i would be gratful.

I tried to make a witty title like the rest of you but I failed. Shoosh. ;-;

So its been ages since I had my last art thread, so I can't be bothered to update my older one. So you get another thread! (I really need to keep my threads regulary don't I?) This time we have not just computer drawn art, and my pictures aren't in the style they used to be! o:

First off, lets start with some photography!

Yes, yes I named my dog Link, and no I have no idea what I was thinking when I did name him. This picture is for my last assignment for Photography. I am very happy with this picture because it takes so bloody long to get him to sit still, and this is one of the few times he did! I also edited the picture a bit making it a wee darker, and had to crop the picture on both sides. Compare!

Next is one of Notsil's character, Oscar!

Oscar is from a Role Playing site called Open Blue. You should check it out if you're interested in all that. Anyhow, I don't know much about this character, not even his name name, but I like what I know about him. He claims to be the King of Bandits, and he is the son of the King of Pirates, whos a meanie face. :<

Speaking of characters, I have some of my own. First up, Leaf, who has shown up three times before now:

I was going to draw her with Cobalt, another one of Notsil's characters but I got lazy, and then our crazy idea of reviving our Pokemon characters failed, so I was like meh. Leafy has changed in terms of clothes again, but this time I just made them more simpler. Nothing much to say about her, but this is the first time I started to really use the new eye style, because I got sick of the "anime" eyes I was using.

Speaking of new styles:

This is Micha Rowan, my character from Open Blue. I had a big picture all planned for her and everything but then the program crasheded halfway through, so I was stuck with a half picture. Annoyed because I wanted to finish my character profile with the picture, and I needed to draw other people, I can up with an idea of drawing a "mini picture". Basically its the same as my normal ones, just less proportional and a bit more simpler. The good thing is that you see all the details in this style, and its much quicker to draw. In fact I'm rather fond of this odd, skinny limbed short people approach. So much I use it in my next lot of pictures.

Blackthorn and Alder (Another biggish one)

Blackthorn and Alder, brother and sister of a magical family. Alder is a Dark Mage, while Blackthorn is a simple swordswoman (called: Myrmidon in the Fire Emblem games). For some reason Blackthorn has no ability to cast magic but she is loopy enough to fit into the rest of the family, yay! Blackthorn is the first person to show up, as she is the only class avaliable out of the two so far. Though in some chapters to come Alder will eventually show up.

But oh look, one is actually handrawn! Yes, my friend scanned them for me. They're not the best pictures (Tonchiki pointed out some mistakes to me. I didn't even notice until he did D: ), but I'm fond of them and I was very happy to actually show off some of my handrawn pictures.

So this is all for now. Even though I don't really draw seriously, I would love tips, and critique if someone finds a little odd mistake that I've done. Any improvement is good, as even great artists (Like Eternal Legend ;D) improve every single day! Also thank you for viewing my thread. :3

[Orig] The Golden Box: A Graphic Novel

Gearing up for sending my novel out to publishers, the idea of doing an online graphic novel/comic in the vein of the series came to me. Now I'm not the best of digital artists, as I mostly dabble in photo manipulation, but so far I am rather enjoying this style. It's a lot of work, but the amount of expression you can squeeze out of so little a space is absolutely astounding!

I've never done anything like this before, let alone 100% drawn by myself with no stolen images, so helpful hints and critique would be most appreciated!

All I have fully completed so far are the first two pages, and I'm not sure how many this particular issue is going to carry, but here is what I've done up to this point. Click the thumbs for the full versions.

[Misc] Remix of "Theme of the Empire" from Final Fantasy XII

I have actually been working on a remix of "Theme of the Empire" from Final Fantasy XII on-and-off (heavy emphasis on the "off" part) for a while, and although the remix is still rather incomplete, I think I've gotten far enough (one minute and twelve seconds of it) to show my progress and ask for opinions and critique. ^_^;

For reference as to what I'm remixing, this link leads to a YouTube video that plays the original song of "Theme of the Empire", which I'm remixing. Please note, however, that what I'm remixing largely starts forty-three seconds into the song.

Now, without further ado, here's the actual remix. And an extra link, if the previous one doesn't work.

If this remix sucks, one - or any combination of several - of the following explanations might explain why:

I am not by any means a remixer. This is my first time trying to remix something, so I am as inexperienced as they come. ^_^;
I am also an amateur who pulls off these really crazy projects on a whim; I therefore have no recording equipment, no remixing software, and no professional audio hardware at all. I composed this utilizing MIDI software, then converted it to MP3 utilizing a custom-made soundfont...which is probably one of the most un-professional ways to do this. XD
I do not play any of the instruments featured in this remix (which includes distortion guitar, electric guitar, drum set, timpani, french horn, and trumpet; also thrown in are a string ensemble and a brass section). So if you play one of these instruments and feel that something sounds off, like I'm somehow shoving an anchor through a guitar or plugging a toilet plunger into a trumpet, that's probably why. x_x
I'm sorry, but I'm not Tony Sta- *bricked* ...Erm. I'm sorry, but I'm simply not the awesomeness that is Hitoshi Sakimoto. T_T

Okay, I'm done whining. Listen and comment, please. ^_^;
