Does anyone remember a thread posted by the moderators telling us how the discussion quality would have to go up and that any thread deemed too stupid would be immediately locked? I know it's vague but it was quite awhile ago and I could not find the thread. Anyway My point is that while the discussion quality may have gone up the threads aren't fun anymore. When i joined I loved responding with silly answers to silly threads with silly topics, threads like these have completely disappeared lately. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

This is, in my opinion, a legit conversation about rickrolling; It prepares the reader for a chance to annoyed or entertained by clicking on an unidentified link which leads to a jewel of a rickroll then asks for feedback on whether you found it annoying or entertaining.

The thread is right here so you can see for yourself http://www.zeldauniverse.net/forums/...tertained.html
The thread was locked after mostly positive feedback.

I plan on finding a new forum if the "conversation quality" stays as bad as it is for too much longer, so I'd appreciate some moderator feedback.

Lately I've been having some problems loging into the forums lately. It happened a few days ago and today. Basically when I typed in my username and password it said I entered it wrong and I need to try again.

When it happened previously, I did an emergency password change just incase someone hacked into the account and switched out my password, but even when I typed in the new password it said I entered it wrong (Then I got a little e-mail that told me someone was trying to get in my account. Ha ha!). Then the next day I could get in, so I changed my password back and everything was dandy.

Now it happened again today, but this time I had gotten an e-mail about a private message, so when I logged in from the link it had in the e-mail with no trouble whatsoever.

So how did this happen? Does ZU not like my presence anymore?

(Modly Edit) Temporary Solution: Use the Mobile Skin - located at the end of any ZU page in the Quick Style Chooser toolbar - to log into the forums. Feel free to switch back to whatever skin you were using. Repeat when necessary.

Hi FSQ.

I'm a frequent user of the :D smilie, but I don't like the monstrosity it turns into once I enter my post. Now, I am fully aware of the "Disable Smilies in text" option, but I find it quite tedious to keep having to "go advanced" and check the box every single time I want to express joy using a D and a colon. To remedy this, I think there should be an option to permanently disable smilies in the "options" menu.

What do you guys think? I would definitely use it, that's for sure. :mastahsword:
