Your Favorite Super Heroes!

I'm not exactly sure where this would go, so I put it here. Darius and I were talking about this yesterday and I think it might be a good topic! I won't put a poll though, because there's too many super heroes to list!

Who are your favorites? They can be Marvel or DC! :3 As for me, I got a top five.

Haha, I notice I tend to like Marvel heroes better than DC.

But Ironman is DA BEST.

Batman. He's my hero :3

I used to like superman alot when i was little. But know, i probably dont know. Maybe the hulk from marvel. Outside marvel or DC, i like Goku and SS4Vegeta from dragonball.

And Iceman from the X-Men.

Oh man.

I guess if we're only talking Marvel and DC....well, other than Batman I haven't really followed any DC heroes for over a decade. I hear good things about Green Lantern, though. Green Arrow, too.

Marvel, we got lots to discuss, though.

Can't not mention Spider-Man (yeah, double negative). When you have the right person writing for him, it doesn't matter how many books he has or is in (I think he's second behind Wolverine...maybe tied at this point). Right now I think Bendis does a solid job writing Spidey, but I don't read any of his main titles, so I'm not really basing it off much.

I think Molly Hayes, AKA Princess Powerful of the Runaways is one of the more ingenious "recent" creations Marvel has come up with. Chase Stein isn't too shabby either. Actually, pretty much any of the original Runaways are a good bet.

Along the same lines, I dig Wiccan and Hulkling from the Young Avengers.

I am very much endeared to Captain America ever since I recently read the New Avengers books. Iron Man has been a bit of an ass of late, but I think the fallout of Secret Invasion will probably make him a fan favourite again.

Of course, then you get into the X-Men. I dig Wolverine as much as the next person, of course. Iceman, Canonball, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, all the stand-bys, pretty much. Even Cyclops has become badass of late. His brother Havok is probably about to kick some serious ass in outer space, which I look forwards to. In terms of more obscure characters, though...

Rockslide, Pixie, Elixer, X-23, Anole, Dust, all previously of the New X-Men, now spread out over various teams, are all favourites of mine. Warpath is hopefully going to get some serious spotlight in the new X-Force arc. Jamie Madrox and pretty much the rest of the current X-Factor line-up (Strong Guy, Monet, Siryn, a de-powered Rictor, and apparently Darwin now as well...though I miss Layla Miller) are all great.

Last but not least of the mutant-folk, I have to give it up for Pete Wisdom, even though I haven't been reading the current book he's in. But he's a suave British dude who's mutant power allows him to create and then use or throw "hot knives." So rad.

In that order, though Batman and Hal can be interchangable at times, depending on what I'm reading or watching of them.

Spiderman. He's always been my favorite.

Spider-Man. He's funny and has a great power. The enemies he faces are quite original if I can say so myself, and his mythology is very interesting.
