New sub-forums.

Due to the increasing number of members on the forums, we've decided to divide the Entertainment boards into several sections. This should make it easier for you to browse and find topics on your favourite subjects. I know I'll be hanging around the music board the most, but feel free to check in wherever you want.

We won't be moving any of the current threads in this forum right now, because frankly, we don't want to go through 60+ pages of threads and sort them all manually. That'd take forever and a day, if not longer. But, please don't post new threads in the Entertainment section, unless the topic spans multiple media such as both TV and movies or music and sports (how that one would work, I don't know). Also, the area will be saved for announcements and such concerning the Entertainment forum, if there are any in the future.

Enjoy, I guess.

Nice idea Sear. But I think you forgot to put a "Books" sub-forum. Though I guess the "Misc" sub-forum is where you'd put it. Is it?

EDIT: One idea for how a thread would span multiple topics in this forum is basic entertainment or my thread.

Yes, books belong in the Misc. forum, seeing as how those aren't discussed much.

And yes, that is a good example of a thread that would be put in the general Entertainment section.

I'll actually move the most recent threads, just because I'm neurotic like that. I may well not get through them all, but that's life.

Since we now have seperate sub-forums, we might as well get rid of the Entertainment forum because there is no need for it. I don't think it's a good idea for seperate sub-forums in the Entertainment Forums, because now the Entertainment Forum is useless. Now all of the topics go in the sub-forums and the original Entertainment Forum will not be able to have topics anymore. Even if the topic spans to different types of entertainment, there is limited things that are actually like that.

BTW, Trico I know that you are sorting out the forums and I would like to say something. My s-CRY-ed and Full Metal Alchemist topics are for both the manga and anime show. So you might want to put them in the Other Section not the TV Section.

It's a good idea, Lord Ganon. Instead of having all kinds of different threads crammed into 3 pages of new posts, it's easier to just look at what you are looking for. Getting rid of the entertainment forums would mean all of the new subforums would have to go on the main page, and that would be bad. :O

Mistakes can be made. Calm down, child.

Someone moved it to the right place, actually. Go figure.
