Favorite Brutal Death and Goregrind bands

For those of you who listen to Brutal Death Metal and Goregrind.

What are your favorite bands?

In no particular order, here are some bands that I like
Cannibal Corpse
Mortician
Dying Fetus
Last Days of Humanity
Nile
Deicide
Skinless
Disgorge
Torso****
Suffokation

Most brutal death and grind is pretty boring for me. I enjoy some bands, like Suffocation, Nile, Prostitute Disfigurement, some Morbid Angel, etc. from time to time, but they never hold my attention for very long. I much prefer more traditional death metal, both American and European.

Anyways, Suffocation's Effigy of the Forgotten is pretty much the only decent BDM album in existence.

I love Morbid Angel too! LOVE! <3 (and yes they can be considered brutal. Listen to the early stuff to know)
Im also particularly fond of Immolation. Those guys just get better with age! Also Vital Remains!

No, they really can't be.

I speak of the specific style of death metal as pioneered by Suffocation. Not brutal as in a quality of the music.

Immolation has been a weird band, never releasing anything bad but still never really surpassing Dawn of Possession. Even with Close to a World Below being their most praised album, I still feel they've never really surpassed DoP.

Anal**** are alright.

Brutal Death has to be just about one of the most ridiculous genre names I have ever heard.

I dont agree. Brutal Death metal isnt really a genre to begin with. I dont know how or when people considered it an actual genre, but its really kinda silly.

It is a style of death metal, Morbid Angel does not fall under that style.

It basically takes two forms:

Suffocation worship.
Devourment worship.

Suffocation worship is mostly known as brutal death metal, whereas Devourment worship is mostly known as slam death.

Just because there are different genre names used than you are familiar doesn't make it a joke.

These terms are accepted by the general metal scene and have relatively distinctive sounds, so they do have merit.

Devourment is a band. The bands that took their sound play slam death metal.

Excuuuuuuuse me, princess. I didn't make myself clear. I was talking about the garbage they call metal these days. Classic metal like Black Sabbath or Metallica or Iron Maiden is much better than crap like "Chainsaw Masturbation" or any of the bands listed here.
