I don't think so. I been around birds and I don't freak out when I see on. Trolls freak out when they see birds.

This is so not a Hellboy II reference, which is better than Twilight.

It's true, everybody attacks the popular thing. Doesn't matter any way, Stephanie Meyer will be richer than any of them ever will be combined! I'd like to see if any of them could come up with anything better that would sell like hotcakes and appeal to a large audience!

Re: Twilight - top 5 best-selling dvd!

The movie was just okay.. Which was better than I thought it would be. I think what saved the movie were some of the good looking actors. Otherwise it's very blah.

I think they chose the characters perfectly for the movie. I do agree that its what saved it.

They were exactly how I imagined when I read the books, especially Edward!

which is an enigma in itself. I mean, how on earth do you choose an actor who is as beautiful as a Greek God? That was perhaps my biggest pet peeve about the whole story. Yes Bella, we get it. he is gorgeous, now move on.

Its not that I didn't like the fact the book actually did follow the story line, its just the acting was choppy and it just was icky in my opinion.

Re: Twilight - top 5 best-selling dvd!

Hmmm. I actually didn't think that Edward looked quite as beautiful... as he was depicted in the novels. Don't get me wrong; Robert Pattinson is very handsome. But he's no Edward.

Yeah, I didn't like the actor they picked for Edward :\ Though everyone else I thought was pretty spot on. But idk, the movie just didn't live up its expectations like the novel had

Watched it after reading the book. I enjoyed it despite the questionable acting.

Not quite. A lot was changed, but I felt it made the movie better that way. At least, the events that took place. Like the forrest scene where she discovers what he is for the first time, it never happened like that in the book, and I felt that the movie did it better. In the book it all happened in a car ride.

Fine, but you've made it blatantly (and annoyingly) clear more than once and once was quite enough.

Re: Twilight - top 5 best-selling dvd!

some of the events in the movie were actually better placed than in the book:
the Forest scenes, the first scene involving Jacob (that wasnt even in the book..the book didnt introduce Jacob until the beach part), the killings going on in town (none of that was mentioned in the book), the dudes who ogle Bella's friends in the store, stuff like that...i also noticed in the DVD theres some extended scenes (in the theatrical version) that were ousted...they were put in the special features section instead of left in the movie...

For one, it wasn't annoying and blatant. Two, once is never enough.

I went to the store today and saw the Twiligiht DVDs. My first thought was to wait and see if anyone who pick one up and jump them. My second was to shoot the store up for selling the DVDs.

Yah, the killings never happened, and the bad guys just show up at the end of the book. It doesn't bother much in the book, but in the movie, it would have made 0 sense. They had to put stuff like that in. I just don't think they made them scary enough. Didn't grow enough hype.

Ooooh I LOVE the extended features. It shows so much.

Anyone here read the Midnight Sun spoiler? It's so good! Edward's point of view (of Twilight) is awesome.
