I play. I own three. An acoustic, bass, and electric.

I'm not all that good, to be quite honest. I can strum out many chords, and do some different picking styles, but other than that, don't count on me to be able to play an entire song.. which is sad. I'm such a loser. Haha.

I haven't played it in a while though, but I'm thinking as soon as I get home, I'll be getting back into playing. :]

I have an acoustic and an electric. My former bandmate taught me how to play the basics, but I'm not really all that great. I'm more of a vocalist than a guitarist.

I've been playing for about 3 years. I can play quite a few songs, though I suck at improvising.

I've been playing guitar for...eight or nine years now, I guess. Started acoustic, switched to electric for a couple years, now I'm back to acoustic. I have two acoustics and one electric.

Playing guitar is probably my favourite thing to do in my spare time. It's an awesome hobby.

Started acousticc then stopped playing for whatever reason. Started electric and now I do both, depending on what I'm playing.

I've got a Yamaha acoustic, a Gibson Epiphone Special electric, and my baby, a Taylor PS10 acoustic.

I've been playing an old Yamaha, my first guitar for about 6 years. A year ago I bought an Ibanez RG1527 (7-string) and have spent more time customizing it than playing it...haha.

I thought i had already posted in this thread, but apperently not.

I play Electric, and it is a Godin Freeway Classic.

I never thought saw that before, but your'e kinda right.

What styles do you all tend to play in?

I've been getting into jazz, but usually play metal or prog.

I have an acoustic, but I can't play anything. I can play Iron Man and Smoke on the Water's intro the wrong way (on 1 string instead of chords) and Sunshine of Your Love before it goes into chords.

I played guitar for about 5 years before giving it up because of college. However, I picked it up against recently and have started brushing up on and learning a some fingerpicking songs a la Jim Croce and John Denver as well as composing a few of my own. My guitar is a 1970's Alvarez Gibson Dove Dreadnaught knockoff, very similar to this one. It's pretty sweet and very unique, but I might need to get it repaired sometime. Cracks in the varnish and what not. In the meantime I'm looking into getting a travel guitar for lugging around campus. Particularly, I'm liking the Taylor Big Baby.

Oh, I also play violin, but I'll most likely be quitting it by the end of this semester. Instead I'll be majoring in Theory and Composition, and start taking classes I actually like.

Yaaay.

i used to own an electric, now its with my brother... so im left with an acoustic guitar, a beautiful one at that =D

im not very good at playing the guitar, i only know some basic stuff im more of a pianist, cellist =]

I like playing metal, blues rock, and hard rock too. And also good acoustic stuff that dosnt fit in those catagories
