I'm sorry you feel that way. I really loved it.

Nope. That's old news. Lucas decided against it in the end. Also, that's a deleted scene that was shown on the Revenge of the Sith DVD.

Speaking of DVD's The Clone Wars will be released on DVD in October, right on time for the television series, which I think is really cool since we usually have to wait a long time.

Calling it a movie is actually a misnomer. It's not a movie, it's a series premiere that they decided to release in theaters. The series continues in the beginning of October.

Shame on you, George Lucas.
You should realize by now that script writing is just not your forte.
He didn't write the script.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

I saw it back on the premiere day, so I can't remember some of the lighter details, but I really did enjoy Ahsoka. I dunno why, but I just found her awesome. As for her lack of appearance in III, I believe I heard she becomes a full Jedi before then, so she isn't with Anakin in III because of that. Still, I'd like to know whether or not she survives Order 66.

Honestly, as much as I enjoy the CLone Wars era and am looking forward to the new series, we really need to journey more into the 20 years between III and IV, it's really unknown compared to other times. I actually heard they're making a live action series taking place then, with Boba Fett and Yoda as main characters, but I don't know how true that is, or when it's coming out...

Also, no Grievous makes me sad. D: D: D:

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Some of the things I read here sound interesting. I'll take a look at this when it hits stores on dvd.

I kind of enjoyed Attack of the Clones, some good parts. If this movie is equal or any better than that one then I'm sure I'll like it.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

The highest rating I'd have to give this one is a Rent It.... maybe.

It was downright boring, cheesy, and lacking of an interesting story you'd expect from a Star Wars movie. It felt like a Fan Movie based off another fan movie.

The animation was more suited towards the tv show coming out.. I'd expect a little more out of a feature length movie.

Silly and childish. It's something parents take their 10-13 year olds to.

To echo aniday, indeed this movie was ****. But it just proves that fanboys will go see anything that Lucas puts out. I felt like I was being raped every time I went to go see the prequels, but this movie just proves that Lucas and his universe is severely flawed.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

As I said before, don't think of it as a movie, think of it as the first episode in the series that premieres next week, because that's what it is.

See? First episode.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Just saw the two TV episodes.. Great stuff. The movie was awesome as well... But I like the show more so far.

I adore the art style and to whoever said it "isn't Star Wars" I say, BS!

If you go back into Star Wars history you'll see how this is very much Star Warsy. In fact, these two episodes released so far have left fans with the "star wars feeling" they claim the prequels lacked.

But whatever. I'm a HUGE star wars fan and was very pleased with the show and movie.

Play TFU.

As for Ahsoka, it's rather obvious she dies. I also found it kinda interesting that she uses the same saber style as Starkiller.

The show is out now! This sucks for me since I don't have television.

Oh well, I hope it's released out on DVD. That would be awesome.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Clone Wars is ****....

I have seen both the movie and the first three episodes (not sure how many that are already released) and I'm not impressed. It's so far away from the original Star Wars we know from the first trilogy. It's just so, full of idiotic things. I am ashamed of the series. The first animated series was atleast pretty cool.

Yeah, but it's when that I'd like to know. You see, I have a thing about watching stuff in order. It would drive me nuts to watch an episode that's in the middle of the series, and not see everything leading up to then.
