Anyways, I just watched it. Horrible, horrible acting and script. It was incredibly cheesy. But I laughed. It was funny at times.
I enjoyed it, strangely enough. My only complaints were the antagonist and the princess. Koopa just wasn't scary at all. He's the kind of villain I'd expect from a Nickelodeon sitcom. And the princess was just........ I don't even feel like trying to describe it, because I can't. Mario and Luigi were
OK... It's just that some of the lines they had were very cheesy.
I liked some of the imagination that went into this movie, and it gives me a new perspective for the Mario franchise. It's just that most of the ideas were poorly executed. This movie could have been much better than it turned out.
I have full respect for the people who hate this movie. There's much not to like about it. However, I looked past all that, and I enjoyed some of the few good qualities of the movie.
So, in the end, I'd give it a 5/10.
It's a good movie if you feel like killing time, but it's bad if you come in expecting too much.

EDIT- heroman,
Daisy was a princess. Remeber that big fungus hanging from the ceiling? When it transformed, you could clearly see that it transformed into a man which was wearing a king's getup. This fungus was said to be the father of Daisy. So, she probably figured out that she was a princess after the movie ended.
