If they were to do a literal Mario movie, it wouldn't have done good at all... The storyline was genius.

Anyways, I just watched it. Horrible, horrible acting and script. It was incredibly cheesy. But I laughed. It was funny at times.

I enjoyed it, strangely enough. My only complaints were the antagonist and the princess. Koopa just wasn't scary at all. He's the kind of villain I'd expect from a Nickelodeon sitcom. And the princess was just........ I don't even feel like trying to describe it, because I can't. Mario and Luigi were OK... It's just that some of the lines they had were very cheesy.

I liked some of the imagination that went into this movie, and it gives me a new perspective for the Mario franchise. It's just that most of the ideas were poorly executed. This movie could have been much better than it turned out.

I have full respect for the people who hate this movie. There's much not to like about it. However, I looked past all that, and I enjoyed some of the few good qualities of the movie.

So, in the end, I'd give it a 5/10.

It's a good movie if you feel like killing time, but it's bad if you come in expecting too much.

Daisy [I]was[/I] a princess. Remeber that big fungus hanging from the ceiling? When it transformed, you could clearly see that it transformed into a man which was wearing a king's getup. This fungus was said to be the father of Daisy. So, she probably figured out that she was a princess after the movie ended.

This is one of the ultimate "guilty pleasure" movies, at least in my mind.

Yes, there was a lot wrong with it. A lot. But I still can't help enjoying it for some odd reason.

They don't have to, it's common sense. You don't address siblings by the first name of the oldest one, you address them by their last name.

I watched it yesterday and I thought it wasn't half bad. I agree with Thunderslf and Lantean.

Man, this is going to sound really bad coming from me. Especially, considering the fact I'm so pro 80s. I think the movie failed miserably, it did in my eyes anyway. It just didn't seem like it captured the Mario feel like I would have liked. Did that even make sense? Lol!

I think he means that if you have tim x and bob x you'd call them the x brothers instead of the tim brothers. The way he wrote is ambiguious.

I think the movie was tremendously stupid and horrid, but I liked it anyways. Definitely one of those bad films that you can just sit down and watch to have fun and a good time, but certainly no great work of cinema.
