I saw this with some friends at the 12:01am showing last night/morning, not TOO excited because I'm not the biggest Batman fan, but I went because it was a night out with friends seeing what's supposed to be an amazing movie, so what the hell right? But let me tell you, this was probably one of, if not THE best movies I've ever seen. Never have I seen such an amazing cast of characters, an amazing story, with twists that blow your ****ing mind all in one film. The Godfather, Titanic, and all other movies that are considered the best, suck hairy ******* compaired to this. This movie is not a super hero movie, this movie was ART. Go see this movie. Take your parents, take your siblings, take anyone you know. Everyone has to see this movie.

God, I want to see this movie again already. It was totally worth not getting home until 3:30 this morning to see this movie. ****ing amazing.

Amazing movie. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it actually turned out.

Ledger outdid every villain performance I can think of, and that's the selling point of the movie. He stole the show.

The hype is so huge and everyone has me expecting the world, I can't help but feel pessimistic. At its core, its a summer movie about a guy running around in a batsuit to combat a clown with a fetish for chaos and a guy who got half his face burned off. Should I really be expecting something oscar worthy? A deep and complex crime/pychological drama? A movie that makes something like the Godfather suck hairy ****?

I've been pretty critical about things with mass amounts of hype (I smack talk GTA4 every time it comes up, I tearfully ripped apart MGS4, even though I'm a MGS fanboy, etc.) and this thing surpassed about every possible expectation I could have for it. I've done nothing but think about this film since I walked out of the theater last night, and repeated viewings are in the process of being scheduled.

Bottom line: If you're not expecting much at all, you're going to be blown away, and if you are expecting something amazing, you're still going to be blown away.

I've already watched Batman Begins like ten times to prepare.

I saw this movie earlier today.

I will most likely not watch another movie for the next week because after watching this movie, then watch another one, it would suck.

Its kind of like eating yogurt after ice cream. normally yogurt is good, but it tastes awful right after you eat ice cream.

I saw it today. Best superhero movie ever made. Anyone who disagrees is naturally over-critical. Or a Marvel fan.

Anyway, Ledger's performance was excellent, as well as the others. It will be difficult for any future Batman movies, or any superhero movies in general, to top The Dark Knight.

I'm hyped for this movie, it's received outstanding reviews everywhere I look. I'm watching it tomarrow, but the wait is tearing me apart...

Every superhero movie I ever saw sucks. The Dark Knight is, perfect.

I...wow. I mean, there's really not much I can say. I don't want to overhype this, because invariably movies suffer from overhype, and as good as this flick is I doubt it is immune to it. But if you were even briefly entertaining the thought of seeing this movie, then I say go see it. It is an amazing movie, and you don't even need to be a Batman or comic book fan to enjoy it. If you are either of those things, the level of enjoyment you will get out of it is indecscribable.

I'm writing up a review for it tomorrow when I'm a little more sober, and when I've had time to reflect on it. I'll link it here when it gets posted.

The first movie I watched after The Dark Knight was, well, The Dark Knight again.

This has to be without a shadow of a doubt one the greatest movies of all time I have ever seen. After initially seeing I immediately wanted to see it again -- and I did! It really is just that great of a movie. This is the first time in a long time I've had such admiration for a movie. Heath Ledger did an outstanding performance, he really did steal the show.

I'm so awe-inspired by this film, I'm planning on seeing it again for a third time.

The Dark Knight was and will be the greatest comic book movie ever. The movie is so amazing and the acting is all top notch. Not just Heath, but eveyone. Heath Ledger was and is The Joker. Christian Bale was and is Batman/Bruce Wayne. Every actor is the role they're playing. PERIOD

I wanted to see the movie again, immidiately after I got out of the theater. I will see this movie as many times as I can. This is going in my Top Five Movies I love.

Does anybody (that's seen the movie) remember the pencil scene? rofl
