Re: 2007 Baseball Season: Hopes and Expectations.

Crap. Cardinals have lost three straight. And We're losing right now. Oh well. The year we won over 100, we started the season the same way.

Re: 2007 Baseball Season: Hopes and Expectations.

Well I'm a hardcore Yankee fan and the season has already started. Yanks are 8-6 today and just before I watched A-Rod get another Walk off 3-Run Homerun with 2 outs to beat the Indians. A-Rod is now currently hitting .350 or .351 with 10 HRS and 26 RBIs as they fly into Boston for tomorrows game (today: 4/19/07). Another thing I would like to elaborate on is the New Yankee "Park" which I will not call Yankee "Stadium" because it isn't Yankee Stadium. Yankee Stadium is the house that Ruth built that isn't another park a couple of blocks down. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! A new park is a waste of time and money because it won't have the Yankee Stadium feeling because it is trying to be something it's not. The only thing I am looking forward to is the luxury booths which is a good idea and I probably get to go in them sometimes . Well GO YANKEES and A-ROD STAY HOT because as much as I like Derek Jeter, in 14 games he has already committed 5 errors which the "Captain" shouldn't be doing. GO YANKEES

Edit: Manny Ramirez finally got his 1st homerun of the season! Yeah he's real good. Just like Fat Papy, too lazy to even play the field. ARE YOU KIDDING?! Pssh.

The offense looks good and such. However, if I know the Sox like I know them... it's just a matter of time until collapse. :XD

However, it was nice to see a no-hitter today.
Really good. Sox beat Yankees 7-6 friday, making a come back in the 8th inning from 2-6. Hideki, while he still seems a little shaky, pitches well and looks promising. And Coco Crisp finally got a run to help the team.

Re: 2007 Baseball Season: Hopes and Expectations.

I am an avid Cardinal fan. The beginning of our season, however, has been disappointing to say the least. All of our hitters have not been producing. When Pujols and Rolen come alive, I think the rest of the team will. Hitting is contagious.

Our pitching has been pretty good so far. Looper and Wainwright have been excellent addition to the rotation, as well as Kip Wells. I'm still waiting on the return of Carpenter to complete the pitching staff.

Re: 2007 Baseball Season: Hopes and Expectations.

Well, I've been very happy with my Milwaukee Brewers thus far. I've been a lifetime fan, and it's beautiful seeing so much Brew Crew spirit out here. Nearly every game is a sellout and they've been playing great lately. Definitely can't complain.

I've been to three games this season. Two Dodgers games, both of which they won. And an Astros game (Brewers also won this one.) Hardy and Fielder are having excellent starts to the season, and Capuano is currently pitching a 4-0 record. Best in the League.

With the Crew standing tall atop the Central division, there's nothing more I could ask for. Well..except maybe...consistency. I can only hope.

May 27th, 2007: AL East leading Boston Red Sox with an 11.5 lead over the Baltimore Orioles and a 12.5 game lead over the Yankees.
